Only you, darling, only you, babe.

Summary:

Stu macher had found his final girl. There was no fuckin' way he was ever letting her slip away, even if it meant keeping her in a pretty little cage, far away from billy and his sociopathic tendencies.

Chapter 1: Romeo, Oh Romeo.

Chapter Text

"Juliet, oh Juliet!" A voice cried to the great abyss of midnight, as the stranger rapped upon the window with a fist studded by rings. "Let me look upon your face, my Juliet . . . and drink from your . . . holy regalia?"

I arose from the bed, feet padding in white fluffy slippers towards the window, as a small sliver of pale moonlight shone and split my face in two.

"Shut up, stu!" I hissed, pulling open the curtains and sliding the lock upwards, pushing the heavy wood frame with all my might, staggering from the bulk. "Shit, stu . . . are you high?"

His breath fanned my face, hot and reeking of hemp, whilst his smile stretched so wide it stung. "Only of love." He assured, clambering through the window, groaning and heaving out heavy, grunting curses before collapsing, ruggedly, against the wall. Stu dusted himself down, white vest stained with some dingy substance, then flicked the shrivelled joint he'd been smoking out the window, onto the grass damp with evening dew.

"Stu!" I snapped, closing the window to stop the cold breeze blowing in and freezing us both. "You gotta be quiet. My dads gonna kill me if he-"

Stu crossed the room and my heart beat faster than a captured rabbit, thump thump thump, deep inside my heaving chest, when he slung his arm around my waist and drew me close. "Hey, ain't you the one that's whining?"

I shoved him in the chest weakly, unwilling to actually hurt him. Stu moved back an inch, grinning widely, his white teeth oddly canine in the shrewd light of midnight. He tucked a stray strand of hair behind my ear and chucked me under the chin, teasing as always, before he pressed a tender kiss to the tip of my nose. "Feels like i haven't seen you in forever, baby."

I wrapped my arms around his neck and sighed. "It's been a week, stu."

He stroked my cheek with the pad of his calloused thumb. "Too long, y/n." he complained, bending the knee so he could lower his face, and gently kiss the hollow of my throat. "Hey, didn't you miss me?"

"Course i did." I confessed, knotting my hands in his short brown hair. he grinned and nipped at my neck, playful as a puppy dog, his big eyes seeking me out in the gloom, as his large hand swooping around to pick me up roughly, encouraging me to wrap my arms around his trim torso as he carried me to the bed, stumbling over fallen pillows and discarded shoes, groaning out obscenities when he stubbed his toe on the edge of my bed.

"Don't laugh." He said, frowning, sounding so wounded that i peppered his face with a thousand kisses in order to appease his ache, and he clung to me like i was the last lake in the wide expanse of desert.

"Sorry." i told him, as he placed me down against the feathered mattress, pinning me into place beneath his muscled bulk, and he kissed my neck, down to my column of my throat and the collarbones peeking out from behind a black t-shirt (One I'd stolen from Stu when we'd first began dating) and he sank his teeth into my soft skin, to which i whined and demanded him to stop.

"y/n." he complained, irked that i'd stop him in the midst of his attempt at seduction. I clambered up and placed both hands on his shoulders, peering into his big blue eyes, dilated with what i believed to be thinly-concealed adoration, or at the very least, a semblance of fondness.

he pulled me into his lap and kissed my jawline, his hand resting on my hips, attempting to guide me into a reaction. "Don't you wanna?"

I shrugged him away. "Not right now, stu."

Stu squeezed my hip and, gauging my face for a reaction, removed his grasp, raising his hand in the air defencelessly. "Okay, baby." He promised, pressing a single chaste kiss to the tip of my nose before smiling, not unkindly. "I know when to stop." and he made an attempt to move away, to create distance between us, but i gripped the fabric of his t-shirt and tugged him back down on the bed, atop me.

"Can't we just . . . lie here?"

Stu positively glowed, and he sank down with his head resting on my chest, sighing contentedly, as though it was heaven on earth to be able to lay so peacefully between the valley of my breasts. "Whatever you want, doll." He said quietly, his hand reaching over to clasp mine, and intertwine his long fingers with my own. "I just like being near ya, y'know?"

I nodded and tousled his hair fondly. "Trust me, Romeo, i know."
