Izuku leaned back onto his bed, staring at the dorm’s ceiling.
Damn it, damn it Izuku...
Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes, finally slipping into a bottomless pit of his emotions. The emotions of everything that’s happened, his realization of Kacchan, Endeavor, and now All Might . He thought it all out, but in a frenzie instead of carefully choosing what to think about. It all just came crashing down like being pulled into a current, drowning without the water seeping into his lungs.
Why couldn’t he just-
He didn’t know what he wished he could do specifically, but there was always something he could do better. He wished he could repair his friendship with his childhood friend single handedly and by himself, or to be at least tolerated by the explosive blonde. But no, he couldn’t.
How did Kirishima do it then? He wondered if it was his past-self's lack of a quirk that made Kacchan turn on him, hence why he was friends with Kirishima easily instead of him.
And Endeavor? He never really liked the man much as a hero due to all the damages, but when Todoroki told him everything? Oh he hated the man and the hero. How in the hell did he get his license? Endeavor was now another face in his black notebook.
This is the notebook which holds everything the person did to him or another that is so horrible that it’s used as either blackmail for extreme situations. Along with Izuku’s analytical mind and this book, anyone who was in it was screwed indefinitely until they fixed themselves to the extreme.
And then there’s All Might, also known to him as Yagi Toshinori...
What hero leaves a kid on a roof after telling them to give up on their dream? Especially when the hero was previously quirkless as well? What if he had actually taken Kacchan’s advice that day on that very roof? All Might’s also been pushing Izuku to do better, which was expected, but he never thought his whole day would revolve around training mercilessly, even causing him to pass out sometimes due to exhaustion. And when he did pass out? All Might rushed him to Recovery Girl and pretended to care, but he knew he only wanted to continue training his new quirk until he was satisfied. But Toshinori was never satisfied with the progress Izuku made, causing Izuku to stay up past curfew to train to try and please the Symbol of Peace. And when he upped his quirk percentile usage, it still wasn’t good enough to please his mentor. His image of All Might, the supposed number one hero, soured and spoiled and has gotten bad over each “I would’ve never passed out like you” or his personal all time favorite “I should’ve listened to Nighteye.”
But who could know what happened to him besides himself? He’s never told anyone about anything that’s happened even after he wrapped up Todoroki’s injuries for the last two months and them seeking comfort in each other.
Izuku shook, trying to contain his crying, to push it all back down. His body convulsed as he sobbed silently.
There was a knock on his door.
“Midoriya?”
Izuku’s eye’s shot wide open, now sitting up and trying even harder to calm down.
There was silence besides the rapid beating in his ears and his ragged breathing.
“Midoriya? Are you awake?”
Oh it’s Todoroki , he realized. He took a deep breath and opened his mouth to say something, but a choked sob is all that came out. He covered his mouth instantly, cutting the sob short.
The door opened and Todoroki walked in, quickly closing and locking the door behind him.
There was a dip in the bed. “Midoriya? Are you okay?”
Izuku knew Todoroki was still working with emotions, he had improved a lot even though he was still learning a few more things, but at that moment he couldn’t contain his crying and sobbed into his hand.
Todoroki moved closer to the trembling boy, cautious. “Midori-”
He was cut off with another sob, shaking the smaller boy even more.
The dual haired boy thought about what to do. He could get a more emotionally capable classmate like Momo, but they didn’t have that strong of a bond which could potentially make his friend uncomfortable. So instead, he opened his arms a little bit and looked at Midoriya patiently.
Another whimper came from Izuku as he leaned into Shoto’s chest, his head now resting against it. His tears started pouring out even more, making him unable to stop himself from crying all together. Another sob racked through his body.
Shoto wrapped his arms around one of his only friends. He was concerned, but didn’t push. He pulled him into his lap, standing up and walking over to the big forest green bean bag which was where they both rested after getting his injuries wrapped. It was comfortable and big enough for both of them. He sat back down and set Izuku in his lap just like how Fuyumi did for him when he was upset as a child.
Izuku leaned into him like a life source, gripping onto his shirt.
Todoroki looked him over to check for any injuries he could’ve gotten from earlier that day, but saw nothing. He knew about the training with All Might, but he didn’t tell Midoriya. It was like him and his bastard of a father. He rubbed his back, holding him closer.
This continued for about an hour. Izuku had calmed down enough to speak, but he was still crying. “Thank you Todoroki-kun.”
“It’s okay, Midoriya. Are you willing to tell me what happened?”
Izuku was hesitant. He doesn’t want to burden him any further, but wants to get it off his chest so badly.
“You won’t burden me.” Todoroki looked into Izuku’s eyes, Izuku looking into his heterochromic ones. “You’ve helped me so much, Midoriya-”
“Izuku.”
Todoroki’s eyes widened a bit out of shock, but nodded.
“You’ve helped me so much, Izuku. It’s my turn to help you now.”
Shoto was going to help him? More tears started to build up in the corners of his eyes.
“Wait, please don’t cry-”
“It’s okay, thank you…” He hugged him taking a deep breath.
It was quiet for a few minutes, but it was comfortable.
“Do you want to talk about it?”
He nodded and leaned back, breaking the hug but staying in his lap.
“Did you know that the world’s quirkless population is twenty percent?”
Todoroki looked confused when Izuku glanced to see what his reaction would be.
“Yes, I think it was part of a history lesson at my school. Why?”
“Well…”
Then he explained everything, from being diagnosed and his father leaving to when he was told to off himself, how All Might told him no, how his quirk was given to him, to how his mentor was training his relentlessly and putting him down, causing his school performance to falter but remain steady, and him staying up later training.
By the end of it, Todoroki was speechless. He was infuriated with Bakugo’s actions and All Might’s stupidity and god complex, upset with his past school’s teachers for not doing anything to help, pissed that his dad left him, and concerned immensely with Midoriya’s overall health. He couldn’t say anything and was currently trying not to use his quirk out of anger and burn the dorms down or freeze Izuku. He pulled him into a hug, one arm wrapped around his back and one over his neck. He didn’t want to let go, he couldn’t, he just couldn’t.
He had finally got his anger under control for him to not burn or freeze anything. “I’m so sorry Izuku, you don’t deserve this. And you’re doing great with One For All, don’t let him tell you any different. Bakugou is an ass, so please, please don’t listen to what he said, ever . I believe in you, Izuku.”
“T-Todoroki-kun…” He sniffled, starting to cry again.
“You can call me Shoto, Izuku, and I am not going anywhere.”
That’s all he needed to hear before he hugged Shoto back, tighter as he tried not to cry but failed.
They eventually fell asleep just like that, Izuku in Shoto’s lap with dried tear streaks on his freckled face.

Midoriya had enough of Kacchan’s shit. He was getting fed up with the threats, the jabs, but then he mentioned All Might’s favoritism towards him. Before any of them knew it, he had punched him in the face.
“I’m gonna kill you ya damn nerd!” Katsuki roared, lunging and knocking him to the ground.
Izuku knew he had messed up, but would he take it back? No, no he wouldn’t.
Left hook to the ribs and a right to his arm, blocking a hit on the head and retaliating with a right hook to the face, followed by an explosion to his side and-
He felt the weight on him disappear. Kirishima had pulled Bakugou off of the green boy. Iida and Uraraka came rushing to check on Midoriya who was sporting a new burn.
“Midoriya! Are you okay?”
“Mmhm…”
“Someone go get Sensei!”
“On it.” Iida hopped up and sped off to get a teacher, preferably Aizawa.
He passed by Todoroki in the hallway.
“Iida? What happened?”
“Midoriya is-” That’s all he needed to hear before making a break towards the classroom.
When he got there, the Bakusquad was trying their best to restrain Bakugou and Momo was making medical supplies next to-
“Midoriya!”
“Shoto?”
He looked over an injured Izuku and at Momo who was about to bandage the scrapes.
“Yaoyorozu, let me.”
“Yes of course, thank you Todoroki.” She handed him the bandages and he immediately got to work on the scrapes. She had gone to bandage some of the injuries that the bakusquad had.
Iida came back running, Aizawa right behind him.
“What the hell happened?!” He looked at his two problem children and pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing. “Is Midoriya okay?”
“Yes sir, he should be okay.” He wasn’t certain but... “I’m taking him to Recovery Girl.” He picked Izuku up.
“Wait Todoroki what-” Izuku started.
He walked out the door and towards the nurses office. “Dang it Izu, you better be okay or I swear.”
“I’m fine Shoto, I promise it’s just a burn.”
He sighed. “I’m still taking you to the infirmary.” He opened the door with his foot and walked inside, setting him on the bed.
“I’m guessing Chiyo isn’t here?” Izuku looked around.
“I think you’re right.” Todoroki looked around her office for burn cream, but couldn’t find any.
“Damn it, I think she ran out of burn cream and that’s why she’s out.”
“It’s okay Sho, it doesn’t hurt.”
He looked at his friend like he was stupid. “Alright then, stand up and walk then.”
Izuku’s face tensed, determined. He tried getting up but had to sit back down.
“Exactly.” Todoroki sighed. “Wait here, I’ll be back with the cream.” He took off his jacket and placed it over Midoriya’s shoulders. “If you’re not exactly how I left you when I get back I swear…”
The smaller student laughed, wincing a bit. “I’m staying right here, promise.”
His grey and blue eyes scanned their green eyes, for confirmation and certainty that they won’t move an inch. “Okay, I’ll be back soon.” He started walking out the door, speed walking until he was outside the school and running the rest of the way to the dorms.
Once entering his dorm, he grabs a soft hoodie and the cream.
Meanwhile, Aizawa was in Chiyo’s office, already had restrained Bakugou.
“Midoriya?”
The student’s head picked up, looking at his teacher. “Yes Aizawa-Sensei?”
He walked up to the hospital bed and sat down. “Can you tell me what happened? Bakugou won’t stop yelling so we had Midnight sedate him.”
“Oh, um, sure I guess. Bakugou- I mean Kacchan was talking as usual about how inferior I am compared to him, jabbing insults. You know how All Might is supposed to be my ‘mentor’, right?”
He nodded in response, ready to sit there for as long as needed.
“Kacchan made a comment about how I was his favorite, how he favored me, but in truth All Might is nothing like a mentor to me. All Yagi does is- he- he puts me down and pushes me towards more damage and- and he just tells me how he’s disappointed in me with how I can’t wield my power correctly yet. All I do is train when I have free time, and I wish I could just do anything that normal teens do because I’ve never had a normal childhood and just want to have something normal for once! And Bakugou just- he just puts me down every single time I try to have something normal. I can’t even get through class without an insult! I was just so fed up after twelve years! It’s- I- I just-” His breath picked up.
“Kid-” Aizawa got closer to attempt to comfort and calm the boy.
“I can’t with his bullshit anymore!”
Todoroki walked into the room, a bag in hand. “I’m back with the-” He walked over to his hyperventilating friend, sitting behind him before pulling him into his lap and running his hand through his hair. “It’s okay Izu, you’re here with me, not with him .”
Sho, I don’t want to be here. I can’t stay here, it’s dangerous.”
He pulled him closer into his embrace. “You’re not there Izuku, you’re at UA in Chiyo’s office. Bakugou and Toshinori are in Nedzu’s office. Aizawa-Sensei, can you grab some water from Lunch Rush? He’s gonna need to rehydrate.”
Their teacher nodded before leaving.
“Izu, can you match my breathing?” He placed the scarred hand on his chest, exaggerating his breathing.
Once their breathing finally matched, he tried to bring Izuku back into reality a bit more. They always played a game of finishing the lyrics when seeking a distraction or calming down from being emotionally distressed or when they’re just overall bored. One of them started to sing a line and they went back and forth until they both said the same line at the same time.
“Devil town is colder in the summertime,” Todoroki started.
“I’ll lose my mind at least another thousand times.”
“Hold my hand tight.”
“We’ll make it another night.”
Aizawa returned from getting the water for Midoriya.
“I still get a little scared of something new.”
“But I feel a little safer when I’m with you.”
“Falling doesn’t feel so bad when I know you’re falling this way too,” they both sang, finishing their little game with a small and a wavering laugh.
Eraserhead cleared his throat, standing in the doorway, water in hand.
“Hello, Aizawa-Sensei.” He took the water from his now extended hand and opened it. He held it to Izuku’s lips, knowing his hands are still far too shaky to do it himself without spilling the water.
Izuku drank a few sips before tapping Todoroki for him to stop. “Thanks.” He got two nods in response.
“Izu, can I wrap your burn now?”
“Sure Shoto, just don’t overreact.”
“Izuku, you know if I don’t overreact then-”
“Heh, I know. Go ahead.”
Todoroki smiled, ruffling the green mop of hair before setting him on the edge of the bed. He pulled one of the swivel chairs in front of the bed’s edge, also grabbing the bag he brought and setting the contents next to him. He then removed both jackets off of Izuku and started unbuttoning the singed shirt.
Aizawa looked shocked at the amount of scars his usually happy and smiling student had while the other sighed sadly. There was also some bruising.
Just a burn my ass , Shoto thought, upset at the always angry blonde. He swiveled towards the sink, dampening a rag, and swiveling back to gently clean the burn on Izuku’s side. “You said it was just a burn.”
“It’s just some minor bruising.” He winced, an ice pack now placed on the bruises.
“Mmhm…” He moved to place the rag on the sink’s counter. He went back to the bed and opened the cream, applying some on his hand. “Alright, Zu, please don’t squirm.”
He nodded determined to not squirm at the cold cream.
Todoroki applied the cream to the burn, causing Midoryia to squirm a little, but not enough for him to accidentally hurt himself more. He moved to clean off his hands to wrap the other’s torso correctly.
Once he was finished, he took off his ice packs and put his hoodie on him.
“Thank you Shoto.”
“There’s no need for a thank you, we both take care of each other. Are your arms aching at all?”
Izuku looked down, embarrassed a bit and nodded. With the confirmation, he heated his left side up and placed the smaller boy’s arms on him.

“Midoriya?” Aizawa had woken up first among the group of three in the room.
“Mmnn, five more… minutes...” Izuku was tired, just being woken up, and wanted to just go back to bed with his personal heater.
Aizawa swallowed his small laugh, smiling a little. “I know, problem child, but we gotta see Principal Nedzu now.” He gave his students both a small shake on their shoulders. “C’mon Todoroki, I know you’re awake. I also know you don’t want to leave Midoriya’s side after yesterday.”
Shoto sat up, bringing a half-asleep broccoli with him. He ran a hand through his hair, pushing it out of his face. He also puts Izuku’s bangs into a small bun with a scrunchie he got from who knows where, kissing his forehead and then his nose.
Putting the tired boy on his back, he stood up and headed towards the door to leave. Aizawa picked up their bags and followed. Midoriya was giving his mighty steed directions to Nedzu’s office, whispering so softly that Aizawa couldn’t hear him, so it shocked their teacher when Todoroki was going the right path with ease.
When they finally stopped at the door, the dual boy thanked the injured teen, leaving an even more confused Eraser. How did Midoriya directly know where the office was?
He knocked on the door, opening it right after, and walked in with his other two students.
“Ah! Midoriya, Todoroki, come and sit!” Nedzu had tea set up for everyone to drink.
Aizawa leaned against the wall behind the two. Both students went to sit down, but when Izuku was about to, Todoroki pulled him into his lap while glaring at the blondes in the room, with a deep hatred that he usually had for his own father. What the-
“Now, let’s start! Shall we?” The principal passed out the tea, Midoriya and Todoroki being the only other people to take some as everyone nodded in agreement.
“Okay, so it’s come to my attention that Bakugou Katsuki and Midoriya Izuku have gotten into a fight. All of us know about your rivalry, mainly Bakugou throwing the first punch. But however, Izuku, this time you actually hit him! Correct?”
The green boy nodded a little shakily, Toshinori glaring at him a bit.
“Young Midoriya? You started a fight with young Bakugou? That’s not what heroes do, they-”
Todoroki turned his head so fast you could hear it crunch like one of those video effects. He glared even more at All Might, icily making the temperature drop and Yagi to freeze in place.
“Thank you Todoroki!” Nedzu grinned. “Now, as I was saying, ahem.” Their attention went back to the chimera, temperature returning to normal once feeling Midoriya shiver slightly. “But, as I saw on the cameras’ footage, something said about All Might here provoked you so immensely . Am I right?”
All Might’s face turned into stone as his successor nodded again.
“Do you mind explaining why?”
Izuku let out a shaky breath, now fiddling with his sleeves to bring them over his hands even more. He looked at Shoto, seeking his quiet advice which the other obliged to do so. They looked at each other's eyes for a moment, mentally discussing what he should do.
You need to tell them Izu. They need to know what they did.
I know Shoto, I just don’t want to mess this up.
Todoroki sighed, drawing attention to them but ignored the quirked eyebrows. I believe in you Zuzu, but if anything bad happens, I’m going down with you.
Izuku’s eyes widened a bit. No, Todo, if anything happens I don’t want you in the downfall. It’ll ruin your chances of becoming a hero.
He rolled his grey and blue eyes. It doesn’t matter if it messes up my chances because regardless of what happens, I’m following you, and that’s final. I’m not leaving you like everyone else did!
Midoriya’s eyes teared up as he smiled. “Thank you Sho, I’ll do it, consequences be damned.”
Everyone was confused, excluding Nedzu, and were a bit shocked when the usually stoic and expressionless boy smiled with such warmth toward his friend.
“Alright Nedzu,” the principal's ears perked up, “bring in the detective in the other room who’s listening in and monitoring our conversation.” Izuku’s face went neutral, no concern, just neutral.
The two employees went rigid. How in the hell did he know that he was there?
“Yes, Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa, I know you can hear me.”
“Of course, Detective you can come in now-”
“You too Gran Torino.” Izuku had no idea why or how he knew that he was there as well, but he didn’t question himself.
“Damn kid, you’re good.” Gran Torino was now in the room standing side by side with Naomasa.
“Thank you, Sensei. Now, Nedzu?
“No, there’s no one else!” He had a smile on his face, taking a loud sip of tea to try and contain his laughter. This was entertaining, and the pupil had exceeded his expectations.
“So Hagakure Tooru isn’t planned to be here then?” Izuku had felt the air shift a bit and another pair of eyes staring at him.
That’s all it took for Nedzu to burst out laughing, spilling some of his tea. Midoriya sat there looking at the principal, chuckling. Todoroki just sat there smirking with his eyes closed knowing his analytic friend could hold his own now that he was comfortable enough.
Aizawa and All Might stared at the three in shock, unable to think.
A laugh escaped Shoto’s lips, a small one but nonetheless a laugh.
Aizawa was concerned about how the world’s fate would hold up if the three ever met together again. With his problem child one’s analytical sense and problem child three’s cover up skills attached to his vendetta against his father and now All Might, along with Nedzu’s connections and mind? Society would fall, it was for certain and the class would follow them regardless of what he tried to tell them to do.
The laughing woke up Bakugou who kept quiet in his restraints.
Once they calmed down, they had to snap the two teachers out of their trance.
“Hagakure you may leave, go to class. Now, go ahead Izuku.”
Yep, Nedzu is planning something... His employer never called anyone by their first name unless it meant he saw a crazy amount of potential that he could harvest and grow himself.
“Long or short story, principal Nedzu?”
“We have all the time you need, no worries.” Hagakure had already left, running to her class.
“ Perfect… ” Izuku’s smile turned into a chilling grin.
What the heck was going on with his student? Aizawa stared blankly at the grin Midoriya displayed.
What the fuck is going on with the damn Deku?! Bakugou doubted that the nerd would tell him anything about the past, so he tilted his head and closed his eyes, smirking.
Who did this to his successor, the next symbol of peace he had to train? All Might was baffled at the disturbing smile his pupil sported.
“Well, all of you settle in.” He glanced at his ex-childhood, which he was. “This tale will take a while to tell.”
They all sat down in the chairs, moving them to sit where they pleased.
“First things first, Aizawa.”
Eraser turned his head toward Midoriya.
“Did you know that sixty percent of the quirkless population is suicidal?”
Aizawa, Toshinori, and Bakugou’s eyes snapped open. “What-”
Bakugou knew what the nerd was about to do. “Deku... you better not say anything…”
It was silent for a few agonizing seconds.
“Who’s going to stop me, Katsuki ?
The flinch that the two blondes gave were almost exaggerated.
“Now, Eraserhead?”
“No, I didn’t know the percentage went up again.”
“Oh, so you knew, good. You’ll understand why I throw myself into danger now. I was a late bloomer, quirkless until the day of the entrance exam.”
His Sensei’s face dropped, realization hitting him and hitting him hard.
“And the funny thing is, All Might left me on a roof the day I was told to take a swan dive off of one! Even after crushing my dreams!”
Gran Torino’s eye twitched, as the rest of them had a serious look on their faces. Todoroki’s knuckles turned white with the force he was squeezing the chair’s arm rests.
“Toshinori Yagi…” he turned towards his older student. “Did you, a previously but now quirkless man, the symbol, the man that I thought I had taught, Toshinori, tell your successor that he couldn’t be a hero while quirkless?” His voice had weight, restraint, and grief attached. He only got silence, but the face he received was enough confirmation. “Kid, I’m sorry for my ex-student’s words. If it were me who was asked I wouldn’t have said that, which is what I thought Toshinori would do, but words, or in this case an apology, can be meaningless without action.”
“Thank you Gran, I’m sorry I had to ruin your image of your past student.”
“Don’t apologize to me or anyone for that matter again unless you’re sorry. I know you held onto that for a while.”
He nodded.
“Midoriya.” He looked at Aizawa.
“Yes?”
“Who told you to off yourself?”
“I’ll get to that, but first, Nedzu?” He looked at his principal’s beady eyes. “You’ve already figured it out, haven’t you?”
He nodded.
“Good, please don’t tell the others yet. I’m planning a massacre.”
“Of course, go on. Aizawa, further restrain Bakugou.”
Aizawa complied, wary of what was about what he was about to learn.
“It started when I was four, the age I was diagnosed at quirkless and my supposed father had waked out on me and my mother. When my daycare found out, it had started off as verbal bullying, then came the shoving too, which turned into kicks and shoving around on top of the things said to me and the things I was blamed for. And then came middle school.” He turned to face Kacchan, who was now so tense. “ Everyone absolutely loves middle school, right?!” An insane look appeared on Izuku’s face. “Everything in Elementary was so minor compared to what happened in middle school .”
Nedzu already had a faint idea since he had access to almost everything, but the other’s? They were about to hear it all.
“Physical added onto the verbal, mental following soon after, but then what? Oh! The physical got more brutal since they knew that they could get away with it all. But, where was my childhood friend through all of this you ask? Well, he was leading it all! And you-you wanna know the cherry on top of it all?!” He looked at the teachers.
Everyone but principal Nedzu looked at least a little scared by the usually happy and angelic boy. The principal knew it was bound to happen, for the young boy to just finally snap.
Izuku maniacally smiled even more, looking at everyone in the room, as tears fell down his face and quiet giggles poured out of his mouth.
Todoroki sat up and hugged his now crying friend. “Izu, Zuzu, it’s okay.”
Midoriya took a deep breath, still crying. “Thank you Todo, and sorry Principal Nedzu for acting like that. Sorry for scaring everyone.”
“You don’t need to apologize.” Nedzu and Todoroki both didn’t want him to apologize anymore.
He nodded into Shoto’s chest, choking on a sob.
“Do you want to take a break, Izuku?”
“N-No I’ll be fine Principal Nedzu. Um-” He saw Bakugou glare at him and started to shut down again.
Shoto saw this and hugged him a little tighter. “You got this Izu, it’s okay.” It was a hushed whisper, for only Izuku to hear, which he did.
“Kacch- Katsuki told me to pray for a quirk in my next life... and to take a-a swine dive off the roof of our middle school’s building.” It was quiet, but they heard it. It was silent before Aizawa was yelling at his former friend turned tormentor with Gran Torino while the detective silently cried. Todoroki had moved to the floor with Midoriya still in his lap, trying to calm down his friend’s growing panic.
It all stopped when a heart wrenching sob was let out when Nedzu hugged Izuku.
“It’s going to be okay, Izuku, kin. Your past school’s will burn and crumble along with their neglectful teachers. As for Bakugou, he’ll be punished, with more than a meek slap on the wrist.”
Muffled refusals, excuses , were yelled. He tried to get out of the restraints, to prove his point,
Todoroki covered Midoriya’s ears, glaring at Bakugou as Nedzu walked back to his desk to grab some papers. He hugged Izuku closely to try and calm him down.
Aizawa’s eyes turned red, hair floating, indicating he was currently erasing the explosion quirk. Tsukauchi grabbed a pair of quirk cancelling handcuffs from his bag as the gray capture scarf wrapped itself around the fuming ex-student, but kept his hands exposed. Once the cuffs were slapped on, there was a pause in the chaos.
Muffled yells is all that he heard as he curled up into Shoto, trying to block out all of the noise.
“Bakugou, will you shut up !” Todoroki’s voice cut into the yelling, stopping the refusal from continuing.
Aizawa took one look at the curled up student in the kid’s lap and wrapped his scarf around Bakugou’s mouth.
“Thank you Todoroki, Aizawa.” Nedzu pulled out a pen and twisted it, opening it. “Now, Bakugou Katsuki, you are to await your punishment in the dorms. Any contact with Midoriya Izuku will make the punishment worse, so don’t even try it. As for you All Might, you’re revoked from teaching here or anywhere else. Oh, and of course you won’t be ‘training’ Izuku anymore.”
Yagi’s mouth opened to protest, to ask what he did wrong. He knew the way he ‘trained’ him couldn’t be why he was being cast out. Torino was also confused, but not about firing him.
“Toshinori Yagi, you’ve been abusing your right as a mentor and it’s hurting him, therefore you won’t be seeing him anymore. And before you say anything, yes, I knew but couldn’t do anything until given a solidified reason with proof to fire you that would get the commission to not rescue you from your shame.”
“But I didn’t do anything wrong? How-” He was cut off with a swift kick across the face by his old mentor.
“Shut up, Toshinori.” He turned to Izuku and sighed. “Young Izuku…” He bowed to him. “I deeply apologize for my ex-pupil’s doings. It was hypocritical and extremely wrong and severely upsetting. I hope you can forgive me for not teaching him better.”
Izuku’s mouth fell open for what felt like minutes. “It’s okay, it’s not your fault, Sensei.”
They smiled, nodding. “Naomasa, I want you to take Toshinori Yagi in for questioning, and to keep him in his dorm. Ask him about the day he found the Ninth and get it all on paper.”
The Detective bowed his head, agreeing. “Yagi, I’ll be back with your file, Aizawa if you'll keep watch over him until I return?"
The homeroom teacher nodded. Leaving his capture gear tied to Bakugou's chair. They watched as Toshinori tried to object to the consequences of his actions.
The former symbol stopped once he realized they weren't going to listen, but nonetheless pissed. “I just have one question, Midoriya?”
They all looked at him and his successor.
“After all I did for you, why won’t you stand up for me? For the reason you’re even here right now? I made you, so why do you turn your back on me now?”
There was nothing for a few seconds, just the distant sounds of classes taking place and the very few cars passing by.
Midoriya thought about how he got accepted into UA, about how his past number one hero saved him in the alleyway, and then about how he was left in the dark about so much with the past of his quirk and how he ‘trained’ him.
“Honestly, All Might, the day you left a quirkless boy who’s been suicide baited right before you crushed their dreams, using them as a tool after you see them have no self preservation, and causing them harm because you wouldn’t teach them how to use their quirk is a pretty good way to fuck up and get caught.”
They all looked at him, shocked at the response, but they were proud of him.
“So no, I’m not standing up for your hypocritical, idiotic, abusive bullshit anymore!”
And with that, a fuming Yagi was led out of the room and to a surveillance dorm room, Izuku collapsing into Todoroki’s arms, drained from the situation.
Free, he’s finally free...

It was a week after the meeting. School continued, seating charts changed, Todoroki and Midoriya were inseparable, and Katsuki kept away for the most part. He still verbalized his dislike, but it increased, got louder, and got more personal.
As of yesterday, he was making jabs on Izuku and All Might’s issue, but today? He was picked and prodded with how his father left because he was so weak. Shoto kept Izuku close that day, being a part of the ‘bad father’s club’ did that to you. He also aimed a few insults at the dual haired boy, who almost caught fire when Izuku nuzzled into his neck to calm them both down.
But it was finally time for revenge.
It was a late Saturday morning, about to be noon, when Aizawa called Midoriya and Todoroki back to the office. They needed to discuss Bakugou’s punishment.
“Now,” Nedzu began once they had all sat down, “as you know, Bakugou needs to be punished. Detective Naomasa has acquired a warrant for arrest for not only Toshinori Yagi, but also for Bakugou Katsuki.”
Izuku’s eyes widened as Todoroki had a smug smile playing on his lips.
The principal looked up at empathetic students. “Izuku, I know you might hate this, but it’s the only way to ensure punishment. Before you defend him, please consider that this is entirely minor compared to what he has done to you in the last ten to eleven years of your life combined. If you still don’t wish jail time for a punishment, then-”
“Can I watch the arrests?” His freckled face held a smile, vengeance seeking, wanting nothing more than to see the results of finally sticking up for himself. “I want to see their faces full of anger silently begging for mercy…”
Aizawa blanched. Dammit there’s another one…
Nedzu mirrored his unofficial kin’s smile, suppressing his laughter. “Of course, you’ll have front row seats of the arrest and the court trial for both abusers. You can bring young Todoroki too if you wish.”
An airly chuckle was shared between the two teens. They nodded in agreement before leaving.

Izuku’s phone buzzed the next day. He checked to find that Aizawa messaged him. He nudged Shoto before reading it.
“Problem child, it’s time.”
The two looked at the screen and then each other, simultaneously walking towards the dorm’s common room. Everyone was there doing their own thing and distracted until a knock was heard from the front door.
Momo immediately walked over to it, opening the door to find Nedzu on Aizawa’s shoulder and Detective Tsukauchi with two police men flanking him.
“H-hello Sensei, Principal, officers... Can we help you with something?”
“Actually Yaoyorozu, you can.” Aizawa glanced at the class behind her. “Could you please gather your classmates by the school’s gates?”
“Of course Mr. Aizawa, but is there something wrong?”
“It’s all okay Miss,” one of the officers assured. “Just looking for someone, but we need them all to be here and outside is better for this sort of thing.”
“Ah, yes.” She turned around to the rest of her class. “Attention everyone!”
It went quiet for a minute before Mina popped her head out of the living area and Iida zoomed to the edge of the kitchen.
“We all need to go outside to the gates, Sensei’s orders!”
“On it Yaomomo!” The pink girl’s head disappeared back into the room while Iida went to retrieve the people in the kitchen.
Kirishima jogged to the hallway. “I’ll go get Bakubro!”
“That’s probably for the best Kirishima-kun!” Iida chopped his arms seriously. “Everyone, line up in a single file line!”
Midoriya and Todoroki were in the front, Sato, Ojiro, Denki, Jiro, Momo, Mina, and so on. Iida had stayed in the back to make sure everyone was present in the line, standing behind Bakugou and Kirishima who had just taken their places in line.
“Problem children one and three, with me. Everyone else stays in the line behind the detective.”
The class left, following the instructions, while the four stayed behind. Eraser waited a couple of minutes before walking with Izuku and Shoto, the two’s pinkies joined, on his left and Nedzu still riding on his shoulder.
“You guys ready?”
They nodded in response, Todoroki giving a small reassuring smile to Midoriya.
The principal looked over to Midoriya. “They’re going to lead Toshinori to the gates once we pass the teachers lounge. We’re going to be following him to the front doors where your class is. We have Gang Orca, Endeavor, and Midnight on stand-by if Bakugou tries to fight back or attempts to escape and if All Might fights back.” The court date has been set for next week at 10 am. It should be over the same day, but with all of the evidence and the footage I’ve gathered from Aldera’s cameras that’ll be shown, it could take until the following day and will make you most likely to be questioned on the stand.”
“O-okay. Am I getting a lawyer because my mom-”
“No offense to your mom, kid, but the rat’s taking that spot.”
“Wait what? I mean- Thank you, sir.”
“It’s not a problem at all, kin, especially since you and Todoroki are being transferred to study with me!”
Aizawa recognized the world would eventually end, but it might be sooner than later.
Todoroki looked at Nedzu. “May I also attend the trial?”
“Of course, that’s what was planned originally.”
He nodded. “Thank you.”
They talked about the change in classes for the rest of the walk. Arriving at the lounge, where Yagi was about to be escorted from.
The former number one was considering trying to flee, but alas that would never work for him.
He was brought to the entrance of the school, the group of four following, when the doors opened from the outside by Gang Orca.
Yagi was led to the line Bakugou was in, an officer standing next to him.
Aizawa crouched down to let Nedzu down from his perch. He was the principal and had to address why they were gathered after all. He stayed with his two students, letting the chimera deal with the confused kids.
“Endeavor, Gang Orca, can you come here for a moment?”
Gang Orca and Eraserhead knew their jobs, erase, restrain, arrest. After all, they couldn’t go back on their word and backstab the three older Todoroki siblings. And especially after Dabi came clean with Fuyumi and Natsuo and got parole, another surprise for their youngest sibling.
Shouta’s hair rose as soon as Enji was close enough to the arrest cars, and Sakamata cuffed the angry man. “Todoroki Enji, formerly known as the number two hero Endeavor, you’re under arrest for child abuse in the emotional, physical, psychological, and mental degree and spousal abuse in the mental, emotional, physical, and psychological degree. You have the right to remain silent. Everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you by the court.”
With a shallow gasp Shoto covered his mouth, feeling like he was about to collapse as Endeavor was carted off. A person behind them caught him, revealing to be his sister. The two siblings were joined with their other brother, Natsuo. The brothers shared some laughter as they held him up, and ended up receiving a hug from Izuku and placed a kiss on Shoto’s knuckles, smiling a little.
As Shoto was trying to regain his balance, Eraser came back to where his problem child was.
Aizawa grinned unremorsefully behind his capture gear while looking at a handcuffed Toshinori who was now restrained by another officer. “Toshinori Yagi, formerly known as the Symbol of Peace All Might, you're under arrest for quirk discrimination, misconduct in rescue, mental and emotional abuse to a student, and child endangerment. You have the right to remain silent. Everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you by the court.”
The menacing grin Izuku sported grew, Todoroki grinning as well while they stared point blank at Ass Might.
Nedzu took the megaphone Midnight handed him while the police started walking towards the students. “Attention students! Do not panic, you may go back in shortly, we’re just looking for one of your peers!”
Izuku smiled. Finally, it’s going to happen...
“Ah, officers, there he is, go ahead.” He gestured to the spiky blonde haired student in line for the officers.
“Huh? Bakubro, what's he talking about?” Kirishima turned to his friend.
“How am I supposed to know shitty hair?” He was tensely scared, projecting onto his closest friend.
No one can help you now, Bakugou Katsuki.
The officers quickly walked towards him, the detective closely behind them both.
“Bakugou Katsuki,” Tsukauchi was now in front of him, “please put your hands behind your back and turn around and face the wall.”
“WHAT?”
Heh, and he’s even digging himself a deeper hole.
“If force is necessary, I’ll use it. Now, put your hands above your head and face the wall.
“HELL NO! I DIDN’T DO SHIT!”
The detective sighed, gesturing for the officers to step in while Katsuki objected to the arrest. “Bakugou Katsuki,” he looked him straight in the eyes, “you’re under arrest for psychological, physical, emotional, and mental abuse, suicide baiting, quirk discrimination, and illegal quirk usage. You have the right to remain silent. Everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to an attorney. If you cannot afford one, one will be appointed to you by the court.”
“Wha- Bakugou, is this true?” Kirishima teared up.
Poor Eijiro, so confused, I almost feel bad for them...
The hunched shoulders and a conflicting look in his eyes solidified the truth, and Kirishima cried.
Kaminari, Sero, Mina, and Jirou shook. They were upset with their friend, being both sad and angry. They cried as well.
Midoriya could only stare at the scene before him, sadistically wearing a full-blown grin that went from ear-to-ear before laughing.
His classmates stared at him, gapping, looking like they were about to reprimand him. And Bakugou? He was pissed.
“HAH? THE HELL YA LAUGHING FOR YOU DAMN DEKU!?”
The laughter got louder.
“Midoriya!” Iida’s arms made a chopping motion. “This behavior is unbecoming of a hero! I must ask you to refrain from-”
Izuku blasted into full-blown mechanical laughter, holding his sides to somewhat stabilize him. He was crying now, but the class just stared in shock.
“HAHA- Bakugou- HEH- I’M NOT- HA- YOUR PUNCHING BAG ANYMORE! YOU CAN’T CONTROL ME! HAHAHA- ISN’T THIS JUST GREAT !” He continued to laugh, the cackling dying down and replaced with small chuckles and tears.
Todoroki hugged him from behind, turning him around so he could have some comfort while he calmed down a bit. He stroked his hair to further ground him.
“Burn in hell, Bakugou.” Shoto glared at him.
Izuku leaned out of the hug and walked until he was five feet away from Katsuki. He held a calm rage in his green eyes as they bored into the red ones. “See you in court, Bakugou .”
With that he watched them drag his ex-childhood friend to one of the cop cars.
He turned to face the principal, bowing. “Thank you, Nedzu.”
A small paw patted his shoulder. “No need for a thank you, kin. Thank you for being so strong to do this.”
The student nodded in understanding. He turned to Aizawa who was smiling in reassurance and smiled back. Todoroki and him caught each other's teary eyes and took off running. Izuku jumped at him and Shoto caught him in a hug. He spun the freckled boy around before they collapsed on the ground crying, but they smiled. Midnight patted their heads before leaving to help Gang Orca get the class inside of their classroom for now, Nedzu following.
Shouta walked up to the two boys and sat next to them. He ruffled their hair, causing them both to cling onto him. He let out a breathy chuckle, smiling fondly at his kids.
His kids, he decided.
They stayed like that for a while. The teacher rubbed their backs in a comforting manner as the two now fell into a deep sleep. He sighed. Problem children...
Picking the two up carefully, Izuku clinging onto his back while Aizawa carried Todoroki princess style through the front doors and to the teachers lounge. There was surprisingly a pullout bed set up for the kids with pillows, blankets, and a bunch of plushies. There was also a jelly packet on the table, score .
He carefully set them down and covered them up. Using his scarf, he snatched the jelly and immediately ate it’s contents. He then pulled out his sleeping bag, too tired to go back to the dorms, turned off the lights, and automatically fell asleep under the table.

A warm hand ran itself through the red and white hair, the dual haired boy sleeping. Midoriya had woken up and went to meet with Nedzu over tea about the change in classes, Aizawa tagging along with his own coffee.
The Todoroki siblings had situated themselves in the teacher's lounge. Fuyumi and Natsuo were playing cards while drinking tea while Touya sat down next to his sleeping brother. He had missed him and attacking his class wasn't his favorite thing to do. Nedzu had offered him to teach a new class that was required for the upcoming semester called How To Be A Decent Human Being. He couldn't wait to see the students faces when he walked in.
Natsuo was also offered a place in UA helping Recovery Girl in the nurses office after he finished his schooling along with Fuyumi working along side Hound Dog in counseling. Natsuo accepted knowing that he'd be able to help and see his brothers everyday. Fuyumi was a little hesitant; she had wanted to teach and eventually become a counselor at her elementary school in a few years, so this offer threw her off a bit. In the end, all of the Todoroki siblings were in UA's system.
Shoto woke up with a groan and looked around, only to scream and deck Dabi in right the face. Natsuo laughed at the sight, but stopped as Fuyumi gave him a look and went to help her brother out.
"Shoto," she began, "there was another surprise that Nedzu had for us." She held his hands with her own and lowered them. "Touya isn't dead." She had put it bluntly in a soft tone. "He got in contact with us, and we talked it out with the commission. He got off with parole, Shoto. Dabi is Touya."
The youngest stared at her. "No, Fuyumi, this is Dabi. He isn't- he can't- He just can not be Touya!" He took back his hands.
Dabi sighed. "Pokeball, remember when us and mom escaped the house to go iceskating for Yumi's birthday?"
"But..."
"We all got soba afterwards at our favorite stand downtown, the one with the strawberry-vanilla mochi you could also buy?" He paused to look at his brother. "It was the one time dad decided not to train us as punishment."
They all teared up at that memory, one of the only all around good day that the five of them had together. Before mom was hospitalized, before the burn, before-
"Touya!" He leapt into his arms, sobbing.
The older brother reciprocated and hugged him tightly. "Yeah, it's me..."

When Izuku walked into the lounge, he was not expecting Touya, Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Shoto to be playing an aggressive game of Go Fish. He took a look at his friends face before laughing. He was so serious!
Fuyumi finally won, ending the game. "Ah, Midoriya! When did you get here?"
"Oh, about..." he glanced at the clock, "ten minutes ago."
"Well, in that case meet our older brother-"
"Hiya Touya! I heard about you teaching a new class next semester. I can't wait to see everyone's faces!" The greenette smiled.
This year is going to get interesting, especially since Shoto was going to ask out his little green bean soon...
