Follow up to An Island's Misunderstanding
Steve goes with Danny and Grace to Jersey for a Williams family event that counts as a family reunion. He's not just meeting Danny's family as best friend or boss...but as Danny's boyfriend! It's not all fun and games as the big reason they're going is to help Danny's parents plan and organize the event. So they're very busy. In the quieter moments, however, Steve relishes in being mostly accepted by the majority of Danny's family. Enjoys the domesticity of being in the most healthy, loving, and strongest relationship he's ever had!
Of course it's not all sunshine and rainbows. Some family members are rather old fashioned. Thankfully, the event is Danny's nonna's birthday, and even if she won't admit it, Danny is her favorite grandson. So long as Steve makes him happy, she accepts him. So the rest of the Williams family has to too. Even the most narrow minded, old fashion toxic masculine men daren't go against the family matriarch! (Plus she genuinely likes Steve for her darling Daniel!)
