   Summary

   Commander Ava Shepard grew up as a spacer kid, joined the Alliance Navy at 18, survived a massacre on Akuze, and now finds herself on the Normandy. What seemed to be a routine mission spirals into chaos as she takes over the ship and navigates her way through finding a crew and hunting down a traitor.

   This is going to be mostly canon compliant with focus on moments between missions of ME1. There will be some differences but nothing too major thus far.

   Edit: Had a death in the family that completely derailed me so this one is on hold. I have more chapters stored up but I hate to start posting and then stop again, so for now I'll just say this is on hold. Thank you so much to those that have read it so far 💕
