Work Text:
The air was warm, it would’ve been unbearable if the gentle breeze wasn’t there. Remus sat and watched the leaves move in the wind. It was nice
(Y/N) sat next to him, leaning on his shoulder watching a squirrel climb up a tree and all Remus could think about was how he didn’t want this moment to end.
Although he knew something was wrong.
The sky was blue, he knew that but this sky wasn’t blue. It was purple; that was the first indication that it wasn’t real.
(Y/N) laughed and pointed out something in the distance but Remus couldn’t see anything in the distance but he laughed along, enjoying his wife’s company.
The third thing he knew was wrong was something he didn’t want to address. It was (Y/N). She wasn’t meant to be here even if here meant purple skies and no surrounding area. She wasn’t meant to be anywhere, not since she died.
Remus knew why he was seeing her, it was the delirious dreams he was getting since the war started again. He knew she wasn’t real but he wanted to enjoy the idea of her being her with him again for a little while longer so he held her a little closer than before.
