Summary
CH Postal is on the verge of being nationalized, and in all likelihood Iris Cannary is out of the job at the end of the month. Shortly after receiving this sobering news, she receives a request from Dietfried Bougainvillea. It starts as one letter, but as Iris peers through the cracks of the walls Dietfried puts around himself, the Captain finds himself captivated with her.
A new offer is made: five letters, thirty days at the Bougainvillea mansion, and enough money to live off of for a year. Iris can't say no. Not to the money. And certainly not to Dietfried.
