The voice that could not be tale whether it came from far or near rang into his ears. Kim Dokja opened his eyes and sat up on the bed before stretched out his slumber from very long sleep.
Where was he? Black orbs wandered around the room. He saw a round table, round couch, round window frame and door. Even the bed that he in was also round. He looked outside the window and saw small outer gods that looked like octopuses clawing on the grass floor.
He didn’t know why he was not able to come up with the answer from the get-go. This is N’Gai’s Forest, a home of his lover, Yoo Joonghyuk.
There was a knocking sound and the round door swung open. Kkoma Yoo Joonghyuk with number 81 on the chest walked in and declared.
“Breakfast is ready.”
Kim Dokja nodded and get out of the bed. While he was walking to the dining room, he was accompanied by kkoma number 81 and 999. He didn’t remember where these little buddies of his lover came from, but they treated him very well.
“He’s waiting for you.”
Kkoma number 999 said and opened the door of dining room revealed the old-but-extravagant decorations. At the dining table sat the man with a familiar white coat. He welcomed him with warm loving eyes.
“Good morning, love.”
His cheeks warmed up and pink blossomed on his pale skin. He sat down on the chair opposite the man and the meal started. They had small talk with light-hearted topics. The food was also delicious. He felt like it’d been very long time he never had laid back like this. Strange, hadn’t he lived here with Yoo Joonghyuk for sometimes?
After the meal, Yoo Joonghyuk cupped his cheeks with his big hands and said.
“I have something to take care of. You should take a rest.”
Then his face came closer to give a kiss on his forehead. Kim Dokja saw a scar that went down on one of his eyes. He tilted his head and asked.
“Where did you get this scar from?”
Unreadable emotion flashed in his lover face but vanished like never happened before in a second. His low voice answered.
“It’s from a battle long time ago. It’s completely healed. Nothing you should worry about.”
Kim Dokja could not get rid of ominous feeling that came from nowhere but all he could do was nodded. A faint smile created on Yoo Joonghyuk’s handsome face.
“Then take a rest. If you want anything, you can ask the kkomas. I’ll see you at dinner.”
The day went in a comfortable blur. He read one of novels piled in his room till he felt stiff. So, he decided to go for a walk. The garden outside his room packed with strange flowers he couldn’t name. Fainted sweet fragrance had him to take a deep breath and smiled with content. Warm sunlight shined trough branches of tall tall trees created stripes of golden on the ground.
Everything was good and peaceful, but he had indescribable gut feeling that something was off. He felt like he forgot something very important.

He obviously woke up. Why these small outer gods wouldn’t stop their repetitive mantra.
While he was thinking, the sound of small outer gods was cut off. Faint smell of something familiar, something similar to iron greeted his nose. The smell rapidly mixed up with sweet fragrance of flowers then he was pulled into someone’s big arms. He looked back and saw his favorite handsome face of his lover.
“Joonghyuk-ah.”
“You seem perplexed. What are you thinking?”
“I don’t know. Something just feels off. It’s like I forgot some crucial things.”
A big callous hand went from his waist to his temple.
“Don’t overthink. You’ve been through enough. Now, you can just rest and stay by my side. I shall not let anyone or anything harm you.”
What had he been through? Something came up in his head. Pictures of him and some people he felt familiar but could not exactly remember flashed and then disappeared into dense mist of his thought. Suddenly, he felt sleepy. His eyelids felt so heavy that he couldn’t put them in places.
“Yes, you don’t need to think of anyone or anything apart from me.”
He heard the low voice whispered somewhere far away and felt his body lifted up by strong steady arms. He felt the softness of the bed and warm peck on the lips then his conscious solved in to gentle darkness.
“Plotter, someone from his Nebula is trying to force the portal open.”
Kkoma number 41 said in small voice. The Secretive Plotter took one last look on the man on the bad and answered.
[Let them try as much as they want.]
No one and on thing could take Kim Dokja from him.
He’s mine. Only mine.
