Chapter Text
Hi! So I had three plot ideas for Greengrass (my "canon" drastoria fanfic) and I decided to write them all because I love the concept of Drastoria so much. I think this will be shorter than my other Drastoria fanfics because I mainly want to write about their relationship dynamics that the Hogwarts schooling itself, (but really because I don't know what they teach in their 7th or 6th year at Hogwarts.) Draco is 18 and Astoria is 16 which kinda sound problematic when it comes to legalities which is why this was not the chosen plot for my "canon" drastoria fanfic, which is why their relationship will not be sexual at all, there will be no sex or kissing because it's illegal and I'm not making predator a trait in Draco's personality. (their age gap might not seem big but as an adult, as an 18-year-old I would not be interested in dating a 16-year-old, it feels rather disgusting and a little sick imo.) With that said let me make it clear again, Draco is not a predator because they are not in a romantic relationship from beginning to end, the dynamics of their relationship are not at all mainly romantic attraction; this is a story of two different people who come together in their struggle to put themselves together with reality.
Like all my Drastoria fanfic, Astoria has known about her blood malediction/curse since she was 4 years old, and because of her curse she won't live till 40, Astoria is in Slytherin but she does not have pure blood supremacist beliefs, (like Slughorn) and most of her friends are not in the same house as her. As for Draco none of his family went to Azkaban but they're all trying to manage life with their stained reputation and the trauma from the war.
Minerva McGonagall becomes the headmistress of Hogwarts, Flitwick is still the Charms professor, Binns is still the History of Magic professor, Slughorn is still the Potions professor, basically, everyone is still the same professor except for Defense Against the Dark Arts and Transfiguration.
This is a story about healing and rebuilding after the war, a story of overcoming the emotional war that follows after the ending of a dark war.
