Summary
After Lan WangJi tragically dies in an incident during which Wei WuXian and his husband are investigating several murders and a plot to take over the cultivation world, Wei WuXian goes into mourning only to wake up one morning in the body of his sixteen-year-old self during his lessons at Cloud Recesses.
He has a chance to change everything, and he grabs onto it without hesitation.
However, things become complicated when he realises that the mystery behind his husband's killer still has a long way to go from being solved, when even sending him back in time seems to be just another part of this person's schemes.
At the same time, Wei WuXian desperately wants to restore his relationship with Lan WangJi, which turns out to be more difficult than one thinks when one doesn't know exactly when it was that feelings started to bloom. Plus, it doesn't help when he has to act like the same frivolous teenager as he was back then in order to avoid detection. Misunderstandings are bound to ensue.
