   Summary

   In a modern Sunnydale that has never heard of vampires, young Faith seeks comfort from her only friend in town Buffy after her mom kicks her out, again. The two keep each other strong as Faith opens up and learns to make her own family in her new friends. Of course it doesn't help that she is in love with her gracious host, and the more time Faith spends with Buffy the more she can tell she is falling in love.
