Losing a job is already pretty bad. Losing a job, and being pursued by some sort of cosmic curse that makes it so you can't find another one, no matter how hard you try, is worse.
It drives Mona into a corner. At the suggestion (and, frankly, push) of her best friend Lumine, she decides to start a WelkinPass account―that is to say, a page where people can subscribe to a daily feed of cheeky lingerie photos and nude pictures. But to make good money, Mona needs the assistance of a photographer, and she has no one to ask but her disgruntled, asshole, workaholic of a roommate, who used to have photography as a side-hustle.
Mona knows this is a terrible idea, but she has bills to pay. And Scaramouche only accepts with the assumption that this means Mona has no interest in him, and they should be able to keep this relationship professional.
It turns out… a bit more complicated than that.
