Chapter Text
When you grew up in a city like Gotham you either learn to adapt and not give a shit about the random psycho playing with knifes outside your window a three in the morning, or you died, it was easy like that.
So waking up in a strange dark room with stranger men looking at my from literal thrones wasn't all that concerning, it probably should be, for some pussy from Metropolis sure it will be, but for a born, raise Gothamite?
"You do realize that you just committed a crime?" I asked just to be sure that we were all in the same page. "Oh good, just checking"
.
"How did you say this place was called again?" I asked to the demon of... What was again? Green? Green peace? Not? Damn I should probably have pay more attention to their introduction, but in my defense I was kind of freaking out a little about the whole being kidnapped to literal hell part.
"The house of lamentations" The demon answered and nop, no, no,no.
"Nop, no, no, no, definitely no, fuck no" I cursed going the other way, I was not a stupid teenager in a horror movie there was no way I was going there, I was a Gothamite I had way more survival skills than that!
"Hey! Human where are you going?!" He screamed and I did what any sane person would have done in my situation.
I ran.
Totally understandable from my point of view.
.
"Let go of me! This is harassment!" I screamed being carried like a sack of potato on the demon shoulder.
"Aw—can you stop kicking me?!" He answered between groans of pain.
"Will you let me go?"
"Will you try to run again if I do?!"
"..."
"I thought s—aww stop with the damn kicking!"
.
So here is my dilemma.
In one hand I didn't want to see some siblings dispute but in the other hand I didn't want to be alone in the scary house with the terrible name... So...
Maybe I could pretend that this was just my neighbors dinner dispute about if Misses Ramirez slept with the fireman from across the hall or not— which she did, the walls were really thin for my horror and completely trauma, but I was not snitch — so that way It wouldn't be so awkward that way
.
"Who are you calling Norm— is that a figurine of C.C?!" I practically screamed looking the figurine on a shelve next to like a dozen more. "Oh my Lord you have Kurumi too!" I said totally fawning at the little plastic figurine.
.
"So if you make a deal with Mammon he would have to do anything you say—
"I'll do it" I answered without hesitation.
"Yo— you will?" He asked looking a little confused as to why I agree so easily.
And sure I could tell him that I wanted Mammon to suffer because I was a petty bitch and I was still sour about him forcing me to enter the demon house, but—
"Of course! After all friends help each other all the time right?" I asked with a fake smile putting a hand on his shoulder and he just looked amazed.
I got to admit I was a pretty decent actress.
.
"Wait, you decided to come here?" I asked to the other only human in the demon school, and should I be concerned about the fact that classes were awfully similar to the one in Gotham?
They shouldn't be a little more... Diavolic? Or was that racist for me to think?
"Yes?" He answered raising an eyebrow.
"I got kidnapped!" I exclaimed in rightfully outraged "I'm going to put a fucking complain, that's just rude"
.
"Should I be worried about the fact that Lucifer does Dad's jokes?" I asked seeing the frozen credit card.
"Well..." Levi murmured.
"Oi! What are you doing?" Asked Mammon and I smiled.
It was payback time bitch!
