Steve was startled awake violently by a loud cry echoing in the adjacent room. As soon as he opened his eyes though, he felt the body he was spooning against groan loudly, and something nudge his stomach without grace. One of Bucky’s elbows, no doubts.
“Your son wants to eat,” Steve pointed out, smiling playfully when he felt Bucky curl around himself even more.
“He’s your son before sunrise,” the brunette yawned, not even opening his eyes.
