Summary
Whoever says opposites attract is, annoyingly, right. It’s truer for Leonard than for most people. Of course there’s Mick, the fire to his ice, but that’s complicated. So complicated, in fact, that Leonard buries those feelings in kink. Ironically, this has found him yet another fiery partner, in the form of a novice Dom he’s taken under his wing. If Mick is a wildfire, quick-burning and hard to control, this novice Dom is a blowtorch: controlled and careful, but intense enough to scorch.
In their recent scenes together, Leonard has shifted from being the Dom in charge, with Ray as his subordinate, to being a quieter co-Dom. It gives him an excellent vantage to watch Ray’s growing confidence. Unfortunately, it also brings quiet thoughts about how tempting it would be to let Ray give him orders.
