MANY YEARS AGO DURING THE EVENTS OF THE AVENGERS

We open with complete darkness... and then a light appears. The light swoops down and watches The Avengers facing off with Warbringer and The Chitauri in New York City. The light shines brightly as it watches Warbringer's final defeat and death at the hands of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

The Light: Interesting...

Time moves on and the light bears witness to the first public appearances of The X-Men, Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, The Hulk, Spider-Man, and various other superheroes that live on Earth. As well as that, he witnesses the rise of the greatest villains on the planet from Doctor Doom and Ultron to Goblin and Red Skull.

The Light: These beings and the way they chose to live is... fascinating. I must observe more.

Years pass again and the light witnesses The Coming Of Galactus and the events of Marvel 1616/My Hero Academia: United Heroes. The light feels another presence beside him.

The Light: What do you want, Watcher?

We pan over to see that Uatu is floating beside the light.

Uatu: I could ask you the same. A little far from your home dimension?

The Light: My dimension was boring and uninteresting nowadays. I wanted to explore and, travelling through the dimensional barriers of this universe, I find myself here. Now, I a seeing the most amazing things to ever happen. And yet, I wish to understand these creatures. What drives them to do those amazing/diabolical things?

Uatu: Humanity can do that to you. Observe more and I think you shall find your answer.

Uatu takes his leave and the light ponders on The Watcher's words.

The Light: I can do more than observe, Watcher. I will find out more once I regain my full strength. I wish to test these creatures to see what will ultimately triumph. Good or evil? Light or dark?

With that said, we fade to black.

AVENGERS TOWER, JUNE 2018
AFTER THE ARREST OF NORMAN OSBORN

We open to The Avengers (Sam Wilson Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, She-Hulk, Scott Lang, Nadia Pym, Kate Bishop, Eagle, Uncanny Valley, Sam Alexander Nova, and Spider-Man) celebrating another well deserved victory. That victory being finally putting Norman Osborne behind bars. Stark, being his usual self, retracts his helmet to laugh before speaking to Peter.

Tony: Gotta say, Parker, this is a helluva way to kick start your birthday!

Eagle: Exactly what I said!

Peter takes off his mask and smiles a bit but not completely.

Peter: Hey, it a team effort by everyone and I can't thank you guys enough.

Thor: Worry not, Man Of Spiders. It was an honour to fight alongside you once again and getting the feeling of battle running through my veins again.

She-Hulk: Hear hear!

Ant Man: Still think I should've went up Osborn's butt and made him explode.

Wasp: What? Why?

Ant Man: Because it would've been really funny. I was thinking his ear or nose originally but then I thought his butt would've been hilarious.

Hawkeye: Hilarious as well as disgusting, old timer.

Tony: Booze party?

Avengers bar Peter: BOOZE PARTY!

The heroes party away while Peter sneaks out to the landing pad to watch the sunrise. Jess notices him leaving to do this as well as him trying to hide his real feelings about the fight and decides to talk with him.

Eagle: Liiri, Wings Of Peace.

Jess detransforms back into her civilian form before sliding up beside the closest person she has to a brother. She sits beside him.

Jess: Hey, you good?

Peter: Yeah, of course. Why?

Jess: Because you're the only one here who's miserable about Goblin finally getting put away for good. Now, what's up?

Peter: Don't you think it was a little too easy ? Norman usually puts up more of a fight.

Nova: Maybe he finally saw that he was outmatched, Webs. I'd say that is more than enough reason to celebrate.

Peter: Hmm. Perhaps you're right.

Nova: Of course I am. I'm always right.

Uncanny Valley: Debatable at best.

Nova: Good to see you haven't changed, UV.

Uncanny Valley: I'm an android that can't age. Therefore, you are-. Expression?

Peter, Jess, and Nova: Yup.

Uncanny Valley: Have to say, the four of us have come a long way since meeting in 2009.

Nova: Yeah, those were fun times before...

Jess: Shit hit the fan?

Nova: Yeah.

Jess: So what now, Birthday Boy?

Peter: Now, as much as I'd like to stay and get drunk, I really have to head home. Ava was probably up all night waiting up for me again.

Jess: Tell the kids Aunt Jess said hello.

Peter: Will do. Hey, UV, let Ava know I'm on my way now.

Uncanny Valley: I am informing her now, Peter.

Jess: Hey, you're still having a birthday party, right?

Peter: Definitely, and you'll be surprised where we're having it as well as who else is going to be there.

Peter salutes at them before he leaps off the side of the building and swings away home as we pan over to Thor approaching Sam Wilson, who has just taken his mask off.

Thor: Not bad for your first big Avengers mission as leader, Samuel.

Captain America: Thanks, Thor. Have you ever felt like this?

Thor: Under pressure in a leadership role? Aye, I've been there.

Captain America: How'd you pull through?

Thor: I trusted my instincts as well as my fellow warriors. I could advise you, if you wish.

Before Sam responds, Tony walks over being, well, Tony.

Tony: Sup, Fellas. C'mon, Sam, loosen up a bit. It's a party. Now's a chance to unwind after a job well done.

Captain America: Yeah, I'm gonna pass. JARVIS, ready the main room please? I need to find out if Nat delivered Osborn safely without any problems.

JARVIS: Yes, Mr Wilson.

Tony: Ha, I just noticed your last name is the same as the guy from Dennis The Menace.

Captain America: Hilarious. Someone get this man an award.

Tony: Already got tons of 'em in Alphabetical Order.

Sam shakes his head as he leaves the room and meets with an old friend. That old friend being Bucky Barnes, The Winter Soldier. Way above the atmosphere, The Light watches The Avengers partying away at their victory over Osborn.

The Light: Fascinating. I wonder what else is transpiring here.

It moves it's focus onto The X-Men, who just finished up a training session in The Danger Room. The current members of the team are Storm, Beast, Colossus, Iceman, Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Rogue, Gambit, and Magneto.

Storm: Well done, Team.

Beast: And what did we learn?

Rogue: Iceman sucks at making walls despite being one of the longest serving members here.

Iceman: Hey!

Shadowcat: She's not wrong, babe.

Magneto: Trust was the main problem in the exercise and it's understandable why.

Colossus: Yeah, you've tried to kill The X-Men in the past.

Magneto: A dark time in my life, Young Rasputin, and one I'm trying to make up for right now.

Beast: Correct on both counts, Erik. Trust is the main thing we should be working on in these exercises.

Before Nightcrawler can speak, the elevator opens up and Jimmy walks into the corridor. He smirks a little.

Jimmy: Have to say, you guys have looked better.

Kurt runs over to Jimmy and hugs him.

Nightcrawler: Jimmy, you're back!

Jimmy: Yeah, Kurt, it was kinda hard to stay away from you guys. Iceman.

Iceman: How was Japan?

Jimmy: It had it's good and bad moments. Met someone, wrecked a couple of dickheads, and finally decided to come back here to visit you guys because... it's not the same without you in my life.

Gambit: In other words, you missed us.

Jimmy: Yeah...

Jimmy and Kitty exchange a look before she leaves with Iceman, Rogue and Gambit.

Beast: Like father like son.

Magneto: Indeed.

Beast and Erik leave Storm to speak with their ally. Storm approaches Jimmy.

Storm: Wolverine, it is good to have you back.

Jimmy: Same here, Munroe. How's T'Challa?

Storm: We are on a small break from each other but we are still good to put it mildly.

Jimmy: Best you can be, I suppose. How's the kid?

Storm: Azari is growing up fast and is trusted with his aunt.

Jimmy: The hot egghead?

Storm: That "hot egghead" is my sister in law and next in line for the throne.

Jimmy: Right right. Sorry. How are The Avengers?

Storm: They are well as far as I know. Would you not know yourself?

Jimmy: I will in a while. For now, I need somewhere to sleep for a while.

Storm: Good thing we have a few empty rooms right now.

Jimmy chuckles a bit before we change focus to The Baxter Building as Reed finishes the final upgrades for The Bridge Between Universes as Sue walks in.

Sue: Still awake?

Reed: Yeah, just making some upgrades before bed.

Sue: It's morning, Reed.

Reed: Wait, really? I am so sorry, Sue. I-.

Sue: Hey, don't worry about it. Why are you upgrading this thing anyway?

Reed: Spider-Man is wishing to use it for some reason and wanted to make sure it doesn't break down before that happens.

Cue Johnny waltzing into the lab.

Johnny: Pete's coming by to use your junk? Awesome!

Reed: Not awesome if you wish for the entire plain of existence to implode on us after a press of a button of a flick of a switch.

Johnny: Right. Using Reed's junk, bad.

Ben walks into the lab now.

Ben: Hey, Reed, ya forgot the-. Holy smokes, is this that thing you were building a while back?

Reed: Built and finished now. All that's left is to wait on Peter's company to arrive and send them to their destination.

Johnny: Any ideas where they're wanting to go?

Sue: He mentioned somewhere sunny and specifically, quoting him here, "anywhere not called Hell".

Johnny: A beach. They're going to a beach resort in another universe and never invited me?!

Ben: Next year, Matchstick. Next year.

Ben pats Johnny's back as we cut to The Light finishing his observation.

The Light: Very well, these specific heroes will do for my experiment. Now, to convince them to get to go along.

The Light creates a dome like structure and places it in the middle of Central Park before letting it radiate a lot of Cosmic Energy of unknown origins. This causes Avengers Tower to go into Red Alert as Sam and Bucky finish up a brief sparring session.

Sam: JARVIS, assemble the team.

JARVIS: Already on it. I'll ask Doctor Strange to come by The Tower, assuming he finished giving Dr Parker his birthday present.

Sam: Thanks.

Bucky: Mind if I help out?

Sam: Appreciate it. Now, Avengers Assemble!

We cut to the gathering room as Iron Man, Thor, Scott Lang, Nadia Pym, Kate Bishop, Black Panther (who just arrived via his private jet), She-Hulk, and Sam Alexander wait for Sam and Bucky.

Captain America: Okay, what do we know about this alert?

JARVIS: My scanners are picking up a lot of Cosmic Energy, Mr Wilson. Similar energy that came from both Galactus and The Spot.

Black Panther: Meaning we should act fast rather than continue talking about this.

Captain America: Right. Let's get out there.

The team leaves as we cut to The Baxter Building where The FF are waving goodbye to Peter's friends and family as they go to Earth-SUNPAR (the universe of Sunset Paradise) with a couple of friends from Earth-646. Have fun guessing who those friends from Earth-646 are~!

Johnny: Send me post cards! And bikini pics!

Cue Sue smacking Johnny across the back of the head as the lab picks up the same energy coming from the dome. You can tell by the holoscreens showing the dome in Central Park.

Ben: Reed...

Reed: Right. Let's go. HERBIE, make sure Peter and his friends get back safely. Oh, and look after the kids until we get back.

HERBIE: Of course, Dr Richards. Blooorp!

On a bus downtown, we see Kamala Khan sitting beside Bruno and noticing the dome appearing out of nowhere. Kamala stares in shock before she frantically starts tapping on Bruno's shoulder while he tries listening to the news on his phone.

Kamala: Hey, Bruno, I need you to cause a distraction for me.

All her friend sees is the dome and stares in panic. Mostly due to not being able to hear Kamala.

Bruno: Holy stinkin' supercrap! We're all gonna die!!!

The passengers move to one side of the bus as Kamala squeezes by and gets out as the bus comes to a halt. She ducks into an alleyway to change into Ms Marvel and runs towards the dome. At the dome, The Avengers meet up with Doctor Strange, The Fantastic Four, Bruce Banner, and Songbird.

Doctor Strange: Sam Wilson, good to have you and the team here.

Captain America: Sorry for dragging you out here.

Doctor Strange: Hey, we save the world on a daily basis so no need for apologies.

Bucky: What's she doing here?

Songbird: I was on a solo mission for Mace but then I noticed this large dome in the park. Naturally, I'm checking it out.

Bruce: I was her solo mission, Lucky me. Apparently, someone is messing with Gamma Radiation and I was the closest thing to an expert.

Iron Man: Banner, how've you been?

Bruce: Eh, 50/50. On the plus side, this gives me something to do without resorting to using the other guy.

Thor: Banner! How is Friend Hulk?

Bruce: He's been quiet lately. No episodes in a long while and I doubt anyone needs me since there are more Hulks out there. Hi, Jen.

She-Hulk: Bruce.

Mr Fantastic: Wait, I'm picking something up and it's getting stronger-.

A door forms just as Reed starts speaking. Cue everyone staring at Strange.

Doctor Strange: I didn't do it.

Iron Man: JARV, what do you reckon?

JARVIS: Unclear, Sir.

Cue Ms Marvel leaping onto the scene.

Ms Marvel: Oh my God, THE AVENGERS, FANTASTIC FOUR, AND THE OTHER HEROES IN ONE PLACE?! AWESOMELY EPIC! IS THIS A BAD GUY BASE?! LET'S GO!!!

Kamala rushes past and goes inside the dome, much to everyone's shock.

Songbird: Did she just...?

Everyone: Yup...

Captain America: Let's get her out of there before she gets herself killed.

And like that, the heroes walk into the dome. This is when The Blackbird arrives on the scene and The X-Men exit the jet.

Storm: Beast?

Beast: The mutant should be around here, according to our data, but I see nobody here.

Magneto: Most likely they are inside the structure.

Erik tries using his powers but nothing happens.

Magneto: Strange. This structure is made of metal but it doesn't see to be bending to my will.

Jimmy: Maybe it's non magnetic. Kinda wish I was.

Magneto: Your observation skills are just as astounding as your fathers, boy.

Jimmy: Before or after you tried gutting him?

Magneto: Yes.

The two are about to come to blows but Gambit stands between them.

Gambit: Whoa, partners, we're supposed to be helping somebody. Duking it out won't help matters.

Magneto: Indeed. Storm, what do you suggest?

Storm: Enter through the doorway there and stay on guard at all times. For all we know this could be a trap. Oh, and watch each others backs.

Everyone on the team exchange a nod with each other before walking inside. The door disappears and the dome starts moving towards the skyline under the influence of The Light's power.

The Light: The Champions have been gathered. And now for their opponents. Who better to fight the right of heroes than the might of villainy?

Choosing at random, The Light picks several villains currently on Earth. His picks are Doctor Doom, Enchantress, Molecule Man, Titania, Absorbing Man, Juggernaut, Volcana, Klaw, Taskmaster, Kang The Conqueror, Titus, The Wrecking Crew, and MODOC respectively, whom he places in another dome hovering above The North Atlantic Ocean. Satisfied with his choices for opponents for the heroes, The Light makes the domes levitate towards the skies above before floating into the upper atmosphere of the planet.

The Light: And now, we are ready to begin.

The two domes merge before shooting off into the farthest reaches of space. We cut to black.

Chapter Text

We open with the villains waking up in a white room. Doctor Doom is naturally the first to wake up and survey his possible allies and surroundings. Enchantress, Molecule Man, Titania, Absorbing Man, Juggernaut, Volcana, Klaw, Taskmaster, Kang The Conqueror, Titus, The Wrecking Crew, and MODOC begin waking up slowly but surely. Doom takes notice of Molecule Man as he is the most powerful of these individuals present and Doom could use an ally such as he if he hopes on finding out what trickery is causing their predicament. Doom walks over and offers Molecule Man a helping hand to his feet.

Doom: May I offer you a hand?

Molecule Man: Oh, thank you. You're Doctor Doom, right?

Doom: Indeed I am, my dear friend. Molecule Man, isn't it? Or do you prefer some other name?

Molecule Man: Owen. Owen Reece.

Doom: Mr Reece, you have nothing to fear. You're among friends.

Molecule Man: Good. Goodgoodgood. That's super good.

Klaw: Okay, what the bloody hell's going on? Where am I?

Kang: Indeed. I was still on Xandar facing punishment for my attempt to conquer Earth.

Titus: No kidding. I was imprisoned on Xandar too for trying to kill the family of an old annoyance. The kid just got lucky back then.

Enchantress: Doom.

Doom: Amora. I take it you were on Earth for some reason?

Enchantress: And my business is my own, "My Lord".

Absorbing Man: All I knows is I was on a heist and then, poof, I'm here stuck with these whackos.

Titania: Oh God, Babe, my ex is here.

Absorbing Man: Doom?

Titania: I'm not mad enough to date Doom!

She then proceeds to point at Juggernaut, who gives her a wink while talking with The Wrecking Crew.

Bulldozer: You're The Juggernaut. I'm Bulldozer, big fan of your work.

Juggernaut: Pleasure.

Wrecker: So, how'd you get here?

Juggernaut: Was locked up in SHIELD before waking up here. You posers?

Wrecker: Planning our next heist.

Thunderball: Yeah, turns out Stark was scrapping an old ARC Reactor and we wanted our hands on it to sell on The Black Market.

Taskmaster: Oh please, anyone could steal one of those right under Stark's nose while the prick is blindfolded. I did it, oh, about thirteen times now.

Piledriver: So, how'd you end up here?

Taskmaster: I was about to off the creepy floating head over there before any of this happened.

Juggernaut: Eh, don't blame whoever hired ya to off him. Science weirdos give me the creeps.

MODOC: I can hear you all, you blathering jackenapes! I was about to create the most powerful object in The World Of Science before getting shackled with tyhe rest of you brainless Homo Saipens.

Taskmaster: So your most powerful object is, like, a cube? Not very impressive.

MODOC: It will be once I use it to rid you all from-!

Doom: SILENCE! Do all of you hear that?

Wrecker: Great. The greatest villain of our time is hearing things now.

Kang: No, I hear it too. What is that?

They all hear a humming sound that grows louder with each second passing by.

Volcana: I've got a bad feeling about this...

Molecule Man drops to his knees as if he's having a panic attack. Doom is about to ask why but soon gets his answer in the form of what everyone sees in a large skylight. Every planet and star is being wiped away as if by an unseen hand wiping the slate clean, leaving only a single star in the distant that the dome is moving ever so closer towards at a slow rate.

Doom: Such power used before us. Tremendous, beyond inconceivable...

MODOC: What are you prattling about, Doom? If there was anything that did this, it would be a work of science that rightfully belongs to AIM.

Taskmaster: Yes, because AIM seriously needs something more than a floating head for a boss or a magic cube that sparkles brightly.

MODOC: YOU DARE INSULT THE BRILLIANCE OF MODOC, CRETIN?!

Taskmaster: I more than dare, Bobble Head.

Doom: Enough, the pair of you! We're not alone.

They hear muffled voices coming from the other side of the wall.

Doom: Enchantress...

Enchantress: With pleasure, Doom.

Enchantress uses her magic against the wall... to reveal the heroes on the other side. Both groups stare at each other.

Iron Man: Hey, fancy meeting you here!

Mr Fantastic: Victor, what madness have you planned this time?

Doom: I can assure you, Richards, that all of this is none of my doing.

Thing: Like we're supposed to believe that?

Doom: It is the truth. What would I gain from doing this after giving your ally the information about Osborn's location?

Ms Marvel: Okay, now I'm really confused.

Songbird: Thank God I ain't the only one.

Human Torch: When we get back, I'm speaking with Spidey about this.

Nova: You and me both.

Doom: Friends, I believe we're in for a fight against our true opponents. Destroy them and we can resume our squabbles afterwards.

Kang: Yes, as much as I hate to agree with you.

MODOC: Indeed. DESTROY THEM!

Juggernaut: Way ahead of ya!

Captain America: Dr Banner, we might need help from your friend.

Bruce: One of these days we're gonna go up against a villain where Hulk isn't needed.

The villains prepare to fight while the heroes get ready to defend themselves and Bruce turns into Hulk. Or least he attempts to do so.

Thor: Friend Banner?

Bruce: Hold on a sec...

Bruce again tries to change into Hulk but nothing happens.

She-Hulk: Any time now, Cuz.

Bruce: Hulk? You there, Buddy?

Juggernaut: Piece of cake.

Before anything happens, Juggy bashes against the wall... and gets flung back into the wall behind the villains before being frozen in suspended animation in place, unable to move. This is when The Light makes it's presence known to everyone, blinding everyone with light and unknown energies before reforming the wall Juggernaut slammed against and helping Juggy back onto his feet. Next comes a loud voice that can send shivers down one's spine.

The Light: I AM FROM BEYOND! SLAY YOUR ENEMIES AND ALL YOU DESIRE SHALL BE YOURS! NOTHING YOU DREAM OF IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO ACCOMPLISH!

Silence fills the arena.

The Light: Hmm, maybe I went overboard with the theatrics.

Ms Marvel: Everyone sees the floating talking light, right?

Songbird: First time seeing weird shit, kid? Trust me, it usually gets weirder in a second or two.

The Light: Hold on a second...

The Light slowly descends and takes on the form of an elderly gentleman, who smiles warmly before bowing to his captives.

The Man: Forgive me there. I sometimes forget beings like yourselves aren't used to this sort of thing. Now, let's get you something for the trial ahead of you all.

As if on cue, a massive table appears with food and drink for everyone. The Man promptly sits at the top of the table and takes a spoonful of soup. He takes note of everyone not moving.

The Man: Please, sit. I insist. The soup is particularly good. Although, I do recommend the salted pork for The Asgardians along with the mead.

Sam Wilson and Doom are the first two to approach their host. Cue two chairs sliding out for them. Still cautious, they sit down on opposite sides of the table.

Captain America and Doom: Who exactly are you?

The Man: Oh, I thought you all heard my introduction earlier. Very well. I am from beyond. Well, beyond you universe to be exact with the details. My kind and myself have had many names over the eons and since the dawn of time. You may call me The Beyonder, if it makes this talk simpler for you all.

Doom: Very well, Beyonder. What, pray tell, is this all about and why have you kidnapped us?

Beyonder: Ah, I like your manners as well as your straight to the point attitude. Very amusing If you kindly ask your allies to join us, I'll explain everything.

Captain America: Forgive me for my caution but... how do we know we can trust you?

Beyonder: Truthfully, Captain America, you cannot. I wish you no harm unless you force my hand. Do we understand one another now?

Captain America: Completely.

Sam motions to the gathered heroes to approach while the villains stand their ground. However, Molecule Man approaches the table.

Beyonder: Your friends are missing out on this meal, Molecule Man.

Molecule Man: Friends? We just met each other.

Beyonder: Fascinating. Now, to the reason you're all here. Have any of you here watched this amazing British show called Time Commanders?

No response.

Beyonder: Really? Not a single one? Have you at least played Chess?

Magneto: I may have experience with that.

Beyonder: Good. Someone with class other than Dr Van Doome. For a minute there, I was going crazy. Please, eat before it gets cold. Can you pass the salt?

Kamala does so while eating a few chips.

Beyonder: Thank you, my dear. Now, as I was about to say, you've all been picked to take part in an experiment of mine. Your kind fascinates me. By that, I mean superhumans. Although, I am aware that some don't possess any form of power but I count them as superhumans regardless. This is where we get my fascinating part of all this. Each side is different. One acts on the side of The Law while the other uses their power for selfish gain like getting paid for their services. No offence.

Taskmaster: Some taken.

Beyonder: So, the point of this whole thing is to find out one simple answer to my biggest question. Who would ultimately triumph in a battle to the finish, Good Or Evil? Hero or Villain? The people there are quite safe if you act fast. Simply put, fight until one side triumphs over the other and I'll send you home with your greatest wishes forfilled. Deal?

Mr Fantastic: Forgive me but would you not know this answer already if you observed us?

Doom: Ever searching for answers to everything, Richards.

Mr Fantastic: I'm just surprised you never thought to ask it, Victor.

Doom: If there wasn't an invisible wall between us right now, I would vaporise you into atoms.

Invisible Woman: Harm him and you will find out what I can do without any restraint.

Doom: Susan, you would well remember what I did for your family last time we met. Little Valeria is keeping well from what I've observed and it would be a shame if she were told her father and uncle were killed by an unknown force beyond our knowledge.

Sue can only glare at Latveria's ruler in anger before Beyonder clears his throat and wipes his mouth.

Beyonder: If you're all quite finished, I will answer you. I have observed your fights in the past eighteen years but never have I seen you fight your enemies to the death as it always ends with either someone facing the swift hand of Justice or getting away to plot again for a future confrontation. Where we're going, that will no apply. Speaking of which, we've arrived at our destination.

Beyonder claps twice and the table disappears and the roof opens up and reveals several chunks of mass forming around the centre of a star to create a planet. Some of these chunks are from different planets, including Earth as they notice New Jersey being placed in the lower left side. This gets Ms Marvel's attention.

Ms Marvel: Hey, you creep, put New Jersey back right now!

Ant Man: Kid, wait!

Ms Marvel tries to punch Beyonder but he makes her freeze on the spot. Her eyes dart around in confusion as Beyonder finally stands up again.

Beyonder: I would prefer not to resort to violence, dear child. Act fast and they will survive the harsh perils of my new planet. Hmm, I think I'll call it... Battleworld.

Captain America: You sick maniac! There are people there, good people!

Absorbing Man: Really? Have ever been to Jersey?

Titania: It's a step up from Detroit, hon.

Beyonder: I know not of these places but I do know that one of them means a lot to this little girl.

Nova: If you harm her...

Beyonder: You dare try to threaten a God?

Human Torch: What's a God to a Non-Believer? FLAME ON!

Johnny rushes Beyonder with Nova and She-Hulk backing him up but Beyonder makes them freeze on the spot with a blink of the eyes. He also feels Kang shooting a blaster bolt at him from his gauntlets but Beyonder raises a hand to make the bolt freeze in midair.

Beyonder: Are we quite finished? Good. Now, I will take my leave of you and send you to your respective bases. Remember, fight to the death and all you desire shall be yours.

With that said, Beyonder changes into his ball of light form before flying away. He also undoes the freezing on the spot thing on Kamala, Johnny, Nova She-Hulk, and Kang's blaster bolt. Then the dome splits into two before moving both factions down to Battleworld, placing both on opposite sides of the planet. The villains approch their new fortress while the heroes try to grasp what's going on. Kamala huddles up near a big rock while Nova checks on her.

Nova: Hey, you good?

Kamala can only hug the guy, who returns her hug.

Songbird: We'll get whoever you're worried about out of this mess, Kid.

Ms Marvel: What if we can't?

Songbird tries to respond but can't really find the right words. Magneto and Beast approach Storm.

Beast: Ororo, what should we do?

Storm: We stick together for now and see what the others wish us to help them with.

Magneto: I don't trust them, Storm.

Storm: I am well aware about your contempt for Humanity, Erik, but now is not the time or place.

Magneto: Know that if they betray us, I will not hold back.

Storm: Then I will hope that time never comes.

Over with The Avengers and Fantastic Four, Jimmy approaches Ben.

Jimmy: Hey, guys, guess who's back?

Thing: Aren't you a little young to be Wolverine?

Jimmy: Eh, give me a decade or so.

Thor: Wolverine! How do you fare?

Jimmy: So so, Thor. What's the leader doing?

Thor: What he always does, plan our next move.

This is when Tony approaches Sam Wilson, who looks at the mighty shield.

Iron Man: Well, Sam, what do we do now?

Captain America: Right now, all we can do is plan and seek shelter inside this base. There's a storm coming on the horizon.

Iron Man: Just know that whatever decision you come to, Sam, we're behind you all the way.

Captain America: Good to know.

Sam turns to look at Tony.

Captain America: And how will you know it's a bad decision?

Iron Man: You'll be the first to know.

They exchange a nod before rounding up everyone before heading inside the base. Meanwhile in the New Jersey portion of Battleworld, it turns out Anya Corazon, aka Arana, was in the city visiting a relative (her sister before anyone asks) and is naturally confused over the whole thing. Everyone is in blind panic mode while Anya is trying to stay calm.

Anya: What the hell's going on?

Cue the supervillains bar Doom and Molecule Man flying overhead towards the heroes' base with decked out alien technology.

Anya: Guess that answers that question. Time for Arana to save the day again.

Anya slips into an alleyway to change before swinging off after the large group of supervillains. We fade to black.

Chapter Text

We open with the storm passing over as the heroes walk outside. To be specific, it's Cap, Nova, Ms Marvel, Songbird, Hawkeye, Ant Man, Wasp, and Jimmy Hudson.

Captain America: Looks like the storm has passed over.

Jimmy: Thank you, Storm.

Songbird: Captain, I'm gonna head out with the kids to make sure Jersey is safe from those villains.

Captain America: Good idea, Melissa. Not bad for your first time as an Avenger.

Songbird: What? I'm not an Avenger.

Captain America: You are now. Same as you, Ms Marvel.

Kamala squees at this for a bit but returns her focus to the task at hand.

Nova: We'll give you guys an update once we find out what happened with New Jersey, Sam.

Captain America: Good luck, Sam.

The three head off towards New Jersey.

Captain America: Scott, Nadia, and Kate. You guys are on look out duty. Jimmy will join you guys after we catch up on things. Let's get to it, Avengers.

Ant Man, Wasp, and Hawkeye: Right.

The three head off with Kate setting up on a cliff.

Jimmy: Something up, Sam?

Captain America: Yeah, I forgot to welcome you back. So welcome back.

Jimmy: Thanks. I needed the break from all of this weird shit.

Captain America: I know. So how was Japan?

Jimmy: Great. No complaints whatsoever. How's it feel being Captain America?

Captain America: Like I'm expected to be Steve Rogers 2.0.

Jimmy: I'm not expecting that and I doubt the rest of your team are expecting that.

Captain America: The rest of our team.

Jimmy: Yeah, that's what I meant to say. The X-Men are not gonna be a problem.

Captain America: Despite a known killer being on your team?

Jimmy: Storm assures me that Magneto is on the up and up. No funny business from him. I still have doubts about that, though.

Captain America: If he does step out of line...

Jimmy: He won't. I'll be watching him the entire time.

The two fail to notice Shadowcat listening in on their conversation. She slinks back to speak with her teammates as we fade to Reed inspecting the equipment.

Mr Fantastic: The technology here is way advanced than anything we've seen before.

Bruce: I can't tell if that's a good thing right now.

Iron Man: For now, I consider it a good thing.

Beast walks over to a console and is a little hesitant to activate it.

Beast: Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

Beast types away as a mapping system activates and appears as a hologram beside the gathered scientists just as Strange walks in.

Doctor Strange: Good. You found a mapping program.

Beast: Just luck, I suppose.

Iron Man: Okay, we're here, the villains are set up a brave 10 hours walk from here, and New Jersey is here above the equatorial line. Or what can be assumed as the equatorial line for this Battleworld.

Mr Fantastic: It's definitely something.

Doctor Strange: Think this lab will have something to deal with Doom and his cohorts?

Iron Man: I can have JARVIS run a scan and-. Oh right, no signal back to Earth.

Bruce: Maybe if you send out a low pulse energy feed or something for someone out there looking for us...

Iron Man: Good idea, Bruce. God, I miss you in The Tower.

Tony hooks up to the main computer and begins transmitting the signal.

Mr Fantastic: Speaking of Doom, what do you think his team is up to?

Iron Man: You mean besides the usual? Probably going mad with those assholes nagging away at their base's fancy new toys.

Doctor Strange: Well, he's jinxed it.

We cut over to the villains examining what awaits inside their fortress.

MODOC: Impressive technology. My scans say they are unlike anything our planet's current tech level can achieve yet!

Taskmaster: If it's valuable, I'm taking it. If I can kill a hero with it, even better.

Juggernaut: HA! All you need is your fists and a good opening to take one out. How'd you think I lasted long against Majestia in the past?

Klaw: Steroids.

Juggernaut: Oh, these muscles are real. Trust me on that.

Amora looks out the window and notices Doom standing by a cliff. Kang approaches the ruler of Latveria.

Kang: Something on your mind, Doom?

Doom: My business is my own, Kang.

Kang: You don't like to partake in the company of others either, I see.

Doom: In Latveria, I do not partake in the company of others or anything similar to it. All I care about are my own desires and the praise I receive as well as the well being of my people. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kang: And do you really think The Beyonder will grant your desires?

Doom says nothing and returns to the base. Kang, curious, follows Doom closely. The two notice Taskmaster leaving with Titus on what appears to be a scouting mission as they head on inside the base. All of the villains stand up once they notice Doom.

Wrecker: Hey, Lord Doom, we were thinkin' that you could lead us on this one.

Doom: I do not lead. I rule.

Klaw: Yeah, but you're the only one of us to take the heroes on at once AND came close to winning.

MODOC: As much I am loathed to admit, we stand a better chance at besting our enemies and claiming this great prize if we unite under the strongest of all of us.

This little bit of information annoys the ruler of Latveria.

Doom: The great prize. That's what this is all about? The promise of a great reward if we can best our enemies in combat like this were a mere videogame? If that is all you care about, then what is the point in winning? The true prize is the power of The Beyonder. You witnessed what he can do with a mere thought. If we claim it, then there would be no point in fighting our enemies.

Silence fills the room, much to Doom's further annoyance.

Doom: Very well. Do as you wish. I have other matters to attend to.

Doom takes his leave and heads over to speak with Enchantress. Kang is not impressed.

Kang: That is who you would choose to lead us?

Absorbing Man: Better him than you, Blue Guy.

Juggernaut: Exactly. Why would we trust the guy you tried to conquer the planet years ago?

Kang: Because, Primitive, I have lived many lives in countless time periods and gained many names over the centuries but, in the end, I always end up a conqueror. My timeline was destroyed by the actions of your heroes in a certain point in this newly created timeline and my goal is to prevent it no matter what.

MODOC: Then wouldn't you cease to exist if that were the case?

Kang: Logically, yes. However, my conclusion is that I am now a variant stuck in a altered timeline due to my early appearance in Human History a lot earlier than my previous travels into the past since my time period ceases to exist-.

Thunderball: God, Time Travel makes my head hurt.

Wrecker: You're here as a visitor. Got it. Now what?

Cue Taskmaster hacking into MODOC's camera feed to transmit a message.

Taskmaster: Gentlemen and MODOC, we have located the heroes. How shall you proceed?

Kang: Now, gentlemen, we claim our reward. Follow me and we shall end this conflict once and for all.

Molecule Man: I don't think-.

Kang: Do as you wish, Reece. We shall return when they lie dead at our feet.

The group of villains leave as soon as they equip themselves with their new arsenal. Doom approaches Enchantress.

Doom: May I join you?

Enchantress: You may, Victor.

Doom: How is your other leader?

Enchantress: Loki has not been seen or heard of in Asgard since he found out about his daughter dying on Midgard last year. Even I'm beginning to worry for him.

Doom: I'm sorry. It's hard to lose one's family. Trust me.

Enchantress: Any luck on your end in that department?

Doom: None until I gain Beyonder's power.

Enchantress: Still trying to become a God?

Doom: No, I wish to save my mother's soul and then try to better the universe before all hell breaks loose.

Enchantress: Why do you think that will happen?

Doom briefly recalls a dream he had some time ago. A dream of a big purple alien wielding six stones of infinite power.

Doom: Just a feeling, Amora.

Enchantress: Who are these mortals approaching us?

Doom looks to the approaching group of strange beings that Amora points towards as we cut to a conversation between Thing and Johnny.

Thing: Hey, Kid, you doing okay?

Human Torch: Yeah, I was just...

Thing: Thinking about our friends back home? Me too. Especially Alicia.

Human Torch: Yeah, hard to believe I'm still the single one on the team.

Thing: C'mon, you weren't always single. What about the Skrull lady or Frankie?

Human Torch: Lyja? I haven't thought about her in ages. She's still helping out her home world, I think. Frankie, on the other hand, is someone I haven't seen since... well, it's been a while.

Thing: Eh, someone will come around for ya.

Human Torch: That's if we can get back to Earth, Ben.

Thing: Hey, I know Stretch. He'll get us back.

Human Torch: But what if he can't?

Thing: Well, Matchstick, we'll cross that bridge when we get there.

Thor: Grimm, would you like to spar with us?

Thing: Thanks but I'mma stay with the kid a while longer.

She-Hulk: Your loss, dude.

With The X-Men, Kitty has returned.

Shadowcat: Well, Cap doesn't trust Magneto.

Magneto: No surprise there, child. Humans will never fully trust me.

Rogue: They gave me a second chance after what I did to one of them. There is still hope for you yet.

Cue Nightcrawler teleporting into the room.

Storm: Kurt?

Nightcrawler: I took a look around and we're going to have company. The others need to be warned before we get overwhelmed.

Storm: Do it quickly. Kitty and Gambit, inform those inside.

Kurt teleports away and the two other members rushes away as we cut to outside. Kate readies her bow as Kurt arrives.

Nightcrawler: We've got incoming.

Hawkeye: I saw them. Now, let's take them out.

Cue Taskmaster leaping towards the two and Kurt ports the away just before the merc can kill Kate. Once they are safely downwind of the merc, Kate fires her arrow and sends Taskmaster flying off the side. The villains led by Kang have arrived just as the heroes (bar the scientists) exit their base to face their foes head on.

Kang: Kill them all!

Captain America: Avengers Assemble!

Storm: To me, My X-Men!

Human Torch: FLAME ON!

Both sides clash over each other. Inside, the scientists prepare to head out there.

Doctor Strange: Here. My magic might be limited here for some reason but I can still create portals.

Bruce: What can I do?

Iron Man: Bruce, you should remain here. With Hulk not playing ball, you'll only get hurt.

Bruce: But I can help in more ways than one, with or without Hulk.

Mr Fantastic: We shouldn't take the risk, Bruce. Stay behind.

The others leave Bruce alone. He looks to a console and notices that it's the main defence system.

Bruce: I'm done standing by. Time to give them a bit of backup.

He activates the built in turrets before rushing out to get in on the action. Outside, Tony blasts at Titania before getting knocked back by Klaw. She-Hulk engages Titus.

She-Hulk: Easy there, Tony.

Titus roars before shooting away at his opponent, who merely walks up and piledrives him into the ground. Thor and Storm unleash lightning on The Wrecking Crew before she flies off to help her husband.

Black Panther: Ororo, get your team to provide cover.

Storm: I can handle that, Beloved.

Storm starts creating a fog with her powers while Thing goes up against Absorbing Man.

Thing: IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!!!

Absorbing Man: I don't think so!

Carl absorbs Thing's rock form to create a stone like body. Thing tries to punch him... but changes back into his human form to his and Carl surprise.

Ben: No way. I'm me again?

Absorbing Man: Good enough for me!

Carl punches Ben off to the side and Sue catches Ben with a force field.

Invisible Woman: Big mistake, Creel.

Sue forces Carl to the ground with a force field strong enough to bench press an ox. Cap faces Kang.

Kang: So, someone else is Captain America now.

Captain America: Surprised?

Kang: No, but I'm grateful. The old Cap was difficult to put down. Let's see if you won't be as difficult.

The two engage with Kang sporting new bladed weapons that for from his gauntlets. Kang leaps over Sam to kick his back but Sam shoots into the skies before flinging the shield at Kang, who deflects it into the face of MODOC. Kang leaps into the air to grab at Sam. Magneto uses his powers to pull the turrets from their positions to blast away at the villains and (accidentally) his allies.

Gambit: Magneto, stop!

Magneto doesn't listen and feels his powers being drained by Rogue.

Rogue: Sorry, Sugar.

She uses her new powers to blast at the villains while Ant Man and Wasp take on Volcana.

Volcana: BURN, YOU LITTLE PESTS! BURN!!!

Ant Man: Why do we always get the tough villains?

Wasp: We've been through worse. I go high and you go low.

Ant Man: Works for me, babe!

They shrink and take on the fiery woman as Iceman, Kitty, and Johnny face off with Titania.

Titania: You kids think you can best me?

Iceman: Oh, definitely!

Titania tries to punch Bobby but Kitty grabs Bobby and the punch phases through them. Johnny burns away at Titania.

Human Torch: Sorry for this but you ladies know I'm too hot to handle!

Shadowcat: That was terrible, even for you.

Iceman: Let him have this one.

Titania uses a thunderclap t knock Johnny back just as Jimmy rushes in to land a stab to the leg, making the villainess scream in pain. This gets Absorbing Man's attention as he breaks through the force field and rushes to her aid. Jimmy gets pushed away by their new opponent and they resume fighting each other as Kate gets knocked back by Piledriver.

Piledriver: End of the line, bitch.

He prepares to hit her... but gets sent flying by a kick from Anya, who just arrived on the scene.

Arana: Sup, man?

Hawkeye: Anya, where'd you come from?

Arana: I was in Jersey when I saw these guys and-. Look out!

Anya grabs Kat and shields her from an exploding arrow from Taskmaster. Taskmaster rushes in and trades blows with the young woman before shoving her back before knocking out Kate. Arana stands before Taskmaster, nervous but ready to fight as hard as she can.

Taskmaster: I fought Spider-Man before, little girl. Think you can keep up with me?

Arana: Let's find out.

Anya leaps into combat with Taskmaster, trading blows while Taskmaster is merely toying with her. Bruce rushes out into the battelfield and attempts to bring out The Other Guy.

Bruce: Come on, Hulk! I need you, Big Guy! We need you kicking ass out here! Come on!

Bruce fails to notice Juggernaut standing behind him, aiming his newly acquired vaporiser at the scientist's head. Thor pushes The Wrecking Crew aside once he spots this.

Thor: Banner, look out!

Thor leaps towards Juggernaut, who turns and blasts the god point blank with a vaporiser. Thor disappears as the blast phases out and renders the gun useless. Thor is no more, to everyone's horror.

Iron Man: THOR!!!

This is what finally makes Bruce both horrified and mad enough to unleash The Hulk in all of his righteously pissed off glowing green glory. A crater forms once Hulk takes one single step.

Hulk: ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! HUUUUUUUUUULK SMAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

The villains are slightly unnerved a bit but Juggernaut does a neck crack before charging towards Hulk, who growls before charging towards Juggernaut at full power. They clash fists nearly a hundred times before getting completely knocked back by their respective power but Juggernaut recovers faster.

Juggernaut: Prepare yourself, Hulk! Time to show you who the strongest really is.

Hearing those trigger words, Hulk stands back up, balls up his fist, reaches back, glows with gamma energy, and says one simple thing.

Hulk: HULK IS STRONGEST ONE THERE IIIIIIIIIIIIISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!

With the said and Juggernaut within punching distance, Hulk punches Juggernaut through several mountains in a single concentrated blow to the helmet. Hulk turns his attention to the other villains, growling in pure rage. However, a huge shadow looms over the gathered heroes and they look up to see a mountain hovering overhead. Cue the mountain dropping and seemingly killing them.

Klaw: Well, that was unexpected and anticlimactic.

MODOC: Success! We have finally obliterated those meddlesome pests from the universe once and for all!

The villains celebrate their victory over the heroes.

Wrecker: Kang, sorry we ever doubted you. You're the guy who should lead.

Kang: Thank you. Now, let's return to inform Doom of their demise and show I succeed where he would fail.

The villains leave the scene, failing to notice Kitty in the rubble. Kitty comes around and slips out of sight as we cut to Thor waking up beside Enchantress.

Thor: Amora?

Enchantress: Thor...

Thor: What happened? Where are my allies?

Enchantress: I know not. Listen, Thor, we should speak now before fate has us face one another again.

Thor: About what?

Enchantress: About Loki.

Meanwhile, underneath 150 billion tons stands The Hulk... and he's NOT happy! He roars in pain as he keeps holding the mountain back but is really only supporting it.

Hulk: GrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! CAN'T KEEP THIS UP FOR MUCH LONGER!

She-Hulk: I got you, Cuz!

She-Hulk helps her cousin along with an injured Colossus.

Captain America: Ideas?

Colossus: I'd make a hole but it would mean moving away from my current placement.

Hulk continues roaring in pain along with his cousin.

Nightcrawler: I can't teleport unless I can see where I am going. Sorry.

Iron Man: I can try blasting our way out but I need a huge burst of energy to make a hole.

Mr Fantastic: Allow me. Your systems need a little adjusting...

Doctor Strange: I'll give you a boost.

Storm: Let me help.

The two start charging away at Stark's armour, which starts exceeding the normal percentage amount his armour can contain. Iron Man blasts away... and makes a large tunnel with no sign of an opening.

Hawkeye: So this is how we go out, huh? Trapped under a mountain.

Magneto: There are worse ways to go.

Cue Kitty phasing into the area.

Shadowcat: Guys, stand back and brace yourselves! Help has arrived!

A hole is made and our heroes rush out while Hulk leaps out while carrying Ben Grimm just as the mountain collapses in on itself. Everyone is knocked back by the shockwave and hit the ground hard. Cap struggles to stand back up and notices a tall blonde man offering his hand. The blonde man in question being...

He-Man: Need a hand, friend?

We cut to black.

Chapter Text

We open with Doom and Enchantress exiting the villain's fortress to greet their visitors. The leader in a dark purple cloak approaches first before revealing himself to be Skeletor (the 2002 version).

Doom: Who are you and what is your intent?

Skeletor: Greetings, fellow prisoners of this... mishmash world! I am Skeletor, Lord Of Destruction, leader of The Evil Warriors and Future Ruler Of Eternia!

Enchantress: Hm, this one reminds me of Loki.

Doom: And I am not impressed. What is your intent? Speak quickly while I still allow it.

Skeletor: I propose an alliance with ones such as yourselves. We have wandered this place for a long while and hoped for strong allies in order to obtain something that should rightfully be ours!

Doom: And what could we offer you? More importantly, what can you offer us?

Skeletor: Your allies are currently engaged in combat with your enemies. I can squash them in one single blow.

Doom: How so?

Skeletor then unveils his Havoc Staff and starts speaking an incantation in Eternian before striking a mountain with a energy blast from his Havok Staff, which then lifts itself off of the ground, slowly floats towards the battle in progress, and crashes down on the heroes. Skeletor, with his eyes glowing red, looks to Doom.

Skeletor: Satisfied?

Doom: For now. Consider ourselves allies until I say otherwise.

Skeletor: Excellent. My Evil Warriors, come!

Skeletor's forces are comprised of Beast Man, Tri-Klops, Scare Glow, Stinkor, Mer-Man, and Evil Seed. We cut to our heroes recovering after the events of last time as Sam retrieves the might shield.

Captain America: I need a head count, guys. Anyone missing?

Iron Man: Everyone is here, Sam. I ran a quick scan so go and say hi to our new friends.

Sam walks over towards Kitty's position as Kitty speaks with their saviours. She stands to attention once Sam greets her.

Captain America: You okay, Kitty?

Shadowcat: I'll live. Oh yeah, Cap, meet our saviours.

Sam tilts his head a little in confusion as we pan over to reveal their saviours are none other than He-Man, Man At Arms, Stratos, Teela, Battle Cat, and Buzz-Off (the same ones from the 2002 He-Man cartoon).

He-Man: Greetings, fellow heroes, I trust you're all fine.

Captain America: Uh, yeah. Who are you guys supposed to be?

He-Man: We are The Masters Of The Universe and it’s kind of a long story, friend. I am He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe and protector of Eternia.

Man At Arms: Man At Arms, at your service.

Teela: Teela.

Buzz-Off: My name is Buzz-Off.

Stratos: And I am Stratos.

Sam says nothing as he expects Battle Cat to talk next.

He-Man: And this is Battle Cat, my fearless friend.

Captain America: And how did you all end up here on Battleworld?

He-Man: Like I said, it's a long story.

Man At Arms: If you wish, I will tell you what happened. It had been a few weeks after the defeat of King Hiss and The Snake Men. We were having a feast when Skeletor reared his head once more...

Man At Arms begins telling his tale (leaving out He-Man's true identity as well) as we fade to...

We get shown a shot of Castle Greyskull... and The Evil Warriors arriving on the scene. Comprising of this group are Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man, Triklops, Trap Jaw, Mer-Man, Clawful, Whiplash, Stinkor, Two-Bad, Evil Seed, and Scare Glow.

Skeletor: After so many attempts throughout the years, my loyal followers, it is time we finally gain what is rightfully ours! The secrets of Castle Greyskull!

Evil-Lyn: I can't wait to see how this goes south for us again, Lord Skeletor.

Skeletor: Ah, Evil-Lyn, ye of little faith. Tri-Klops, is the weapon ready?

Tri-Klops: Already deployed, Mighty Skeletor.

Skeletor: Good. Then let's enact the plan! Nothing will stop us this time, not even He-Man! NYAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

At the castle of Eternia, a feast is taking place to celebrate the victory over The Snake Men. Orko fires sparkles from his fingers as fireworks go off in the skies above.

Orko: Abra Cadabra, Alakazam! I now fire sparkles from my hands!

Ram Man: HA! Not bad, Orko. Not bad at all.

Adam: Hard to believe that we finally beat one of our greatest enemies.

Teela: We, Adam? If I recall, all you did to help was run away.

Man-At-Arms: Because, as a Prince Of Eternia, he has other duties other than fighting. As you know well, Teela.

Teela: Of course, Father.

Adam: And when I finally appear on the battlefield, look out.

Teela: Okay, that I really need to see.

Cue everyone now being quiet as King Randor makes an announcement.

King Randor: People of Eternia, this is not only a celebration of our victory but to celebrate our brave warriors that stood tall throughout the many perils that they faced. I hereby raise my chalice to the mighty and noble people responsible for saving us time after time and asking for no great reward in return. Hail The Masters Of The Universe.

Eternians: Hail The Masters Of The Universe!!!

This is when Adam gets a telepathic message from The Sorceress.

Sorceress: Adam, The Evil Warriors and Skeletor are attacking Castle Greyskull! You must come quickly!

Adam looks to Duncan and nods.

Man-At-Arms: My king, Skeletor is attacking Castle Greyskull!

Queen Marlena: So soon?

King Randor: I knew my brother would stage an attack after Hiss' defeat. Masters and Eternian Soldiers, to arms!

Cue everyone making their way out of the room and Randor approaching Duncan.

King Randor: Mind if I join the battle, old friend?

Man-At-Arms: Not at all, Your Highness. Roboto, you're with me and His Majesty!

Teela: Adam, care to accompany us as well?

Adam: As soon as I get my mother to safety, I promise.

Teela shakes her head in disappointment. Adam hates lying continually to his friend but knows that it's for the good of Eternia that the identity of He-Man remain a secret. Adam (and Cringer) escort Marlena to her chambers.

Adam: Mom, stay safe until Father returns.

Marlena: What about you?

Adam: I'm going to join the battle.

Cringer looks to his master in concern.

Adam: You too, Buddy.

Marlena pulls her son in for a hug.

Marlena: Be careful, Adam.

Adam: I will. Love you, Mom.

Marlena gives one look at her son as he runs with Cringer towards Man-At-Arms' lab before the doors to her chambers close. Once inside the lab, Adam locks the doors and opens the skylight.

Adam: I know you were looking forward to some well deserved fish, Cringer, but duty calls.

Cringer gives a depressed meow.

Adam: I'll make it up to you with some swordfish steaks, if they're available.

Cringer licks his lips at that comment as Adam closes his eyes, opens the skylight into the lab, and raises aloft his magic sword to say...

Adam: By The Power Of Greyskull!

And the storm clouds gather overhead, thunder rumbles, and lightning filled with the power of Greyskull strikes the sword, making Adam undergo his transformation as he ages into the mighty warrior that has become known as The Protector Of Eternia and he gains the Snake Men battle armour from the battle with King Hiss and The Snake Men. Adam opens his eyes as he feels the power surging through his body and his transformation is complete. Standing before Cringer is He-Man, the most powerful being in the universe.

He-Man: I HAVE THE POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Cringer looks at his master in worry. He-Man turns to Cringer, zaps him with a portion of the power, and Cringer transforms into Battle Cat.

Battle Cat: ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!

He-Man mounts his steed.

Battle Cat: ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRR!!!

With that done, they leap out of the lab via the skylight and ride off towards the battle. On the battlefield, King Randor stands in front of the Eternian army and glares at his brother

Randor: Skeletor!!!

Skeletor looks down at Randor, eyes glowing red.

Skeletor: Come to witness the end, Brother?!

Randor: Masters, let's end this war once and for all! FOR ETERNIA!!!

The Eternian army charges. Skeletor looks to Triklops and Evil-Lyn. Triklops presses a button and several of his bone soldiers emerge from below the ground and Evil-Lyn wordlessly conjurs up an army of undead warriors.

Skeletor: CRUSH THEM ALL! Evil-Lyn, go and deal with our guests with a few of our forces! Everyone else, with me!

With that exchange over, both sides clash while Skeletor approaches Castle Greyskull with a select few of his warriors (Beast Man, Tri-Klops, Scare Glow, Stinkor, Mer-Man, and Evil Seed) and begins a new ritual spell just as He-Man joins the battlefield.

Teela: He-Man, Skeletor's at the castle!

He-Man: Not for much longer. Duncan, Teela, Buzz-Off, Stratos, with me!

The five charge towards Eternia's third greatest threat. He-Man leaps in front of Skeletor to deflect a powerful blast from the Havoc Staff.

He-Man: Sorry, Skeletor, but I don't think we gave you an invitation.

Skeletor: He-Man, it's about time you showed up.

He-Man: Well, I had to get a friend first.

Cue Moss Man emerging in front of Evilseed.

Moss Man: Evilseed!

Evilseed: Moss Man!

The two engage while He-Man draws his sword to block a strike from Skeletor. Mer-Man tries attacking Man-At-Arms but Teela gets in the way. However, dark mists surround the area as Scare Glow begins his dark magic.

Scare Glow: Masters Of The Universe, feel the courage flee your hearts as darkness and fear take it's place!

Stratos and Buzz-Off take to the skies before divebombing Scare Glow.

Stratos: I don't think fear with consume us easily this time, Scare Glow!

Scare Glow growls in annoyance before unleashing a huge blast at the airborne heroes as we cut over towards the forest nearby. Rattlor and Kobra Khan observe the battle currently unfolding before them.

Rattlor: They are once again squabbling amongst themselves so soon after our lord's demise.

Kobra Khan: Should we aid Skeletor?

Rattlor: No, Kobra Khan, he is not our concern. Stick to the shadows and observe what transpires. Report if anything of interest comes up.

Kobra Khan: Oh, but of course, Mighty Rattlor. I would do anything for our kind as you well know.

Rattlor gives an unamused hiss before leaving Kobra Khan to complete his mission. And now back to the battle at hand. Teela engages Mer-Man with some help from her father. The duo do a great job of holding the warrior at bay but Duncan gets blasted in the back by Triklops. Teela tends to her father briefly before deflecting several beams from Triklops' eyes until... blue energy flows from her and she accidentally blasts Triklops away. Teela looks at her hand as the energy disappears for now. Kobra Khan notices the strange power coming from within Teela and watches intently.

Kobra Khan: Interesting...

He-Man takes on Skeletor head on while Randor backs him up.

Skeletor: So it comes down to the three of us once more.

He-Man: Surrender, Skeletor, and we may show a little mercy.

Skeletor: Never!!!

Randor deflects a blast intended for He-Man and locks weapons with his brother. Skeletor pushes back and the two duel it out with He-Man about to help but Scare Glow and Stinkor get in the way.

Stinkor: Take a whiff of my scent and fall He-Man!

Scare Glow: Yes, and feel your heart tremble with the darkest nightmares that plague your mind as your king finally falls at Skeletor's hands!

He-Man drops to his knees but soon remembers who he is and fights the urge of defeat in order to muster a powerful sword strike at the two villains. He does this just in time to see King Randor get knocked aside by Skeletor.

Skeletor: Now, Brother, fall with the rest of your loyal followers!

He-Man: YOUR MAJESTY!!!

Those are the last words He-Man says to his father as he is soon blinded by a flash of white light and transported to Battleworld along with a select few of his allies and (unknown to him for now) his enemies. He finds himself waking up next to Teela, who nervously backs away a bit and scratches her head.

He-Man: Is everyone okay?

Teela: Barely, He-Man...

Man-At-Arms: Masters, sound off.

Stratos: Stratos, ready for duty.

Buzz-Off: Buzz-Off, ready for duty.

Battle Cat: Grrrr.

He-Man looks at his surroundings and sees no sign of anyone or Castle Greyskull.

He-Man: Where's Castle Greyskull?

Stratos and Buzz-Off take to the skies and realise the entire area has changed.

Stratos: I don't think we're on Eternia anymore, He-Man.

Buzz-Off: Yeah, whatever Skull Face did, it warped us to whatever world this is.

Cue Moss Man emerging from the ground.

Moss Man: They are right. This world feels wrong but I can feel that it is serving a purpose for something greater than all of us, He-Man. Whatever that may be, I know not.

He-Man: Hmm, I suggest we explore. Moss Man, see if you can find anyone nearby.

Teela: He-Man, I think I have a fair idea on where to look.

Teela points towards a levitating mountain that then crashes down on top of The Avengers as we fade back to...

PRESENT DAY

Man At Arms: After all that, we found your ally phasing out of the mountain and then He-Man saved you all from certain doom.

Shadowcat: ... How did you know about the parts you weren't there for?

Captain America: Now's not the time, Kitty. I thank you for the save there but we are too exposed out here.

He-Man: While exploring, we came across a small settlement near your fortress. Moss Man is already there waiting for us.

Captain America: I'll send my best scouts to check it out after-.

Cue lightning striking Hulk, weakening the strongest Avenger.

Captain America: As soon as I check out what's going on. Shadowcat, c'mon.

Shadowcat: Uh... right. Nice to meet you all!

The two heroes of Earth rush back towards their allies as we cut to black.

Chapter Text

We open with Songbird, Ms Marvel and Nova arriving in New Jersey. Naturally, they get a warm reception due to the city's in habitants now being in the middle of outer space.

Songbird: People, please remain calm. The Avengers, Fantastic Four, and X-Men are working on a way to bring us back to Earth.

Nova: Yeah, we've got it covered. Right, Double M?

Kamala has left the two heroes in search of her family. She leaps down and comes across Nakia, who jumps back in fright.

Ms Marvel: Nakia, where's The Khans.

Nakia: They are in their home and-. Wait, how do you know my name?

Kamala realises her mistake and decides to come clean by removing her mask.

Kamala: Hey...

Nakia: Kamala? What...? You're...

Kamala: Yeah, I'm Ms Marvel. Have been since that whole mess with The Inhumans back in 2015.

Nakia: This is...

Kamala: A lot to take in?

Nakia: Cool.

Kamala: Cool?

Nakia: Yeah, you're a superhero AND you saved our lives a lot of times since then. Hell yeah, it's cool.

Kamala and Nakia share a hug before her friend takes her to her home. Kamala knocks on the door and her father opens the door. He stares at his daughter wearing a superhero costume and she nervously waves.

Kamala: Hi, Abu.

Yusuf: Beta...?

Kamala: Surprise.

Kamala's mother comes to the door. Muneeba stares at her daughter, looking in disbelief that her daughter is a superheroine. The two parents then pulls their daughter in for a hug.

Muneeba: My little girl...

Kamala: And New Jersey's only superhero. For now.

Yusuf: How did this happen?

Kamala: It's a long story and one I plan to share with all of you once this whole mess is over. Promise me you'll stay inside until The Avengers gets everyone in the city back to Earth.

Muneeba: What about Bruno?

Kamala just realised that Bruno is still on Earth... and probably has no idea where she disappeared to.

Kamala: He's safe. Trust me on that. Now, I really need to go. Nakia, stay with them.

Nakia: I will.

Yusuf: Kamala Khan.

Kamala looks at her father.

Yusuf: Be careful.

Kamala: I always am.

Kamala slips her mask on and leaves the area while her parents look on in worry. We cut to our group of heroes recovering after the events of the whole mountain dropping on top of them somehow as Sam retrieves the might shield and Tony runs a scan of the area.

Captain America: I need a head count, guys. Anyone missing?

Iron Man: Everyone is here, Sam. I ran a quick scan so go and say hi to our new friends.

Sam walks over towards Kitty's position as Hulk mourns Thor's demise as She-Hulk walks over.

Hulk: Thor...

She-Hulk: You gonna be okay?

Hulk: I don't know. I do know that I want to end this stupid contest.

Ben: Same here. Assuming I can go Rocky again.

Human Torch: Ben?

Ben: Yeah, it's me, Kid. Good Ol' Ben Grimm.

Mr Fantastic: Ben, are you sure you're okay?

Ben: Yeah, more than okay. How did I do this? Think you could give me an answer in less than twenty words, Stretch?

Mr Fantastic: I don't know.

Ben: You did it in three. Never knew you had it in you.

Invisible Woman: Could it be a side effect of being on this planet?

Arana: I think it's possible. I mean, I've been in space for two months and I'm still trying to-.

Ant Man: Hold up a second there, Miss. Two MONTHS?!

Wasp: That shouldn't be possible. We only left Earth yesterday.

Arana: Yeah, that was two months ago. Well, according to the news, anyway. All I remember was visiting my sister in Jersey and then, poof, I was here helping you guys deal with that group of nut jobs.

Jimmy sniffs Anya's scent for any lie in her explanation.

Jimmy: She's telling the truth. Something tells me we'd get the same info out of the people in New Jersey.

Storm: So this planet does more than alter the abilities of people like Ben. It also warps time.

Doctor Strange: Hey, Arana, what else has happened while we were away for this supposed length of time?

Arana: I only watched the news and... they say Spider-Man is dead and Norman Osborn has taken over New York.

Tony then recalls Peter saying to Jess and Nova that Osborn's defeat in Symkaria felt too easy.

Iron Man: Oh my God, he was right...

Hulk: RRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHH!!! BEYONDER, HEAR ME AND GIVE ME AN ANSWER! IS SPIDER-MAN DEAD?!

Cue dark clouds gathering and The Beyonder's face forming in said clouds.

Beyonder: I cannot say for certain, Dr Banner, but you will find out as soon as you win this experiment.

Hulk attempts to toss a rock but Beyonder strikes Hulk with a bolt of lightning, rendering Hulk down for the count for a few seconds.

Beyonder: I say again, slay your enemies and all you desire shall be yours.

Beyonder disappears after that while Sam and the others rush over to tend to Hulk.

Captain America: Hulk, you good?

Hulk: I will be once I get my hands on that Beyonder guy.

Captain America: I know but first we need to regroup and come up with a plan to end this mess without taking any lives.

Storm: What of our saviours?

Shadowcat: They are not from Earth. Said something about coming from Eternia.

Magneto: More non Mutant allies?

Black Panther: Better to have allies when we clear need them rather than attempt to face a challenge alone.

Wasp: I forgot you talked.

Mr Fantastic: I hate to state the obvious but we would be better to move on from this location for now in case our enemies attempt to find signs of our survival.

Doctor Strange: Yes but first things first...

Strange opens a portal to the New Jersey section of Battleworld and allows the three heroes sent to investigate to step through.

Nova: New Jersey is secure and nobody is injured.

Iron Man: Did you find who you were looking for?

Ms Marvel: Definitely.

Songbird: What happened to you guys?

Captain America: We'll tell you on the way, Melissa. C'mon, we shouldn't keep He-Man and the others waiting too long.

The heroes depart as we cut to Thor standing looking at his surroundings as Amora stands with him.

Thor: So aside from his daughter's passing...?

Enchantress: He's been missing ever since. I fear that he may try something foolish.

Thor: When I have finished with my current situation with my fellow Avengers, I will try and talk to him. He may listen to me.

Enchantress: And he may not.

Thor: All I can do is try, Amora. Despite both of us being of different species, he's still my brother.

Enchantress: Then I wish you well in the coming days.

Thor: Thank you. I must go and find my allies. There's no telling what new perils they may face in this game The Beyonder is playing.

Enchantress: Thor, we have made an alliance with a group of Eternians. Your group would be wise to do the same if any are here and on your side.

Thor nods at that bit of advice. Thor twirls Mjolnir before flying off to find his allies. Amora stays a while longer before using a spell to find Loki. What she sees slightly horrifies her as she sees Loki in a land of fire, bowing to Surtur. Loki is bathed in fire and given a new set of armour based on Surtur's appearance just as he turns and glares at Amora.

Loki: Ragnarok will soon begin.

The Asgardian Witch stops casting her spell in fright. She drops to her knees and breathes heavily, unable to unsee what she just witnessed as it burns into her mind. Meanwhile with the villains led by Kang, they get greeted by Doom and his new allies.

Kang: The heroes will no longer be a thorn in our side, Doom. They have been slain.

Doom: Yes, with the help of MY allies.

Kang looks to Skeletor's forces and then gets blasted by Doom.

Doom: You would dare to go against MY orders in order to gain a prize that may not exist? That is not how things will be going from this point on. So says Doom.

Kang attempts to fight back but Doom blocks every attack without taking a single bit of damage before blasting Kang down onto his back. Doom looks to Skeletor and motions for The Eternian to deliver the final blow.

Doom: Show me that this alliance of yours remains true.

Skeletor powers up his Havoc Staff as his eyes glow red with sparks of green shooting out of his empty sockets.

Kang: Doom, offer me a second chance! I only-!

Skeletor vaporises Kang into nothing, leaving a pile of ash where the time travelling conqueror once stood.

Doom: I offer no second chances. You obey... or you die. Anyone else wish to follow in Kang's footsteps?

Silence as everyone bows to Doom.

Doom: Good. Now, come inside and prepare yourselves for a counterattack.

Triklops: You suspect that your enemies still live?

Doom: Doom knows. We have made that mistake in the past too many times before. Never again.

This is when we cut to a small village as our large gathering of heroes arrive to get welcomed by Moss Man.

Moss Man: He-Man and friends, welcome to the village of The Visagti Tribe.

He-Man: Visagti Villagers, we thank you for your hospitality.

One of the villagers, Zsaji, approaches and she can tell that some of the heroes are injured. She motions for the injured heroes to go with her while the others sit by the large campfire in the centre of the village. The elder of the village greets He-Man and Sam Wilson.

Visagti Elder: Greetings, travellers, what brings you here?

Captain America: We were attacked and needed some help. Luckily, our new ally found your village nearby.

Visagti Elder: There were rumblings of conflict earlier this day. Your handiwork, perhaps?

He-Man: Yes, but we only require medical aid and will leave once our allies are back to full health. You have my word.

Visagti Elder: Really? And who's word is being given?

He-Man: He-Man of Eternia, the most powerful being in the universe.

Hulk snorts at that statement before She-Hulk lightly taps him to say not now.

Visagti Elder: And how did you all come to be here on this strange new world?

Captain America: It's a long story involving a being calling himself The Beyonder, who wishes to test my friends and enemies in a game to see if good triumphs over evil.

Teela: Wait, this whole mess is all your fault?

Man At Arms: Teela-.

Teela: No, Father. We are here because of these guys because some weirdo is playing some twisted game with them.

Iron Man: Hey, Gorgeous, back off. We lost Thor because of this whole mess and-.

Thor: Someone mention my name?

This is when Thor arrives and is given a warm welcome.

Avengers: Thor!

Captain America: You're alive.

Thor: Aye. Amora saved me at the last second but she still stands by Doom and his new allies. I believe she mentioned their leader having a skull in place of a face and carried a staff with a ram's skull on the top.

The Masters exchange a slightly worried look.

He-Man: Skeletor...

Man At Arms: Care to tell us more about this Doom person?

Mr Fantastic: He was an old rival of mine that wanted to prove himself superior to everyone. If he's formed an alliance with this... Skeletor, then his side is probably more powerful than we could imagine.

Doctor Strange: Not entirely true but not entirely inaccurate.

Iron Man: Thinking what I'm thinking?

Doctor Strange: Doubtful.

Captain America: Returning to our base and see if our equipment is undamaged by that mountain dropping on us?

Doctor Strange: As soon as everyone else is fed, watered, and fully recovered.

Captain America: Good call. Once everyone is rested, we'll move out in the morning.

Unknown to the gathered heroes, Scare Glow has located them by hiding among the shadows.

Scare Glow: Interesting.

Scare Glow disappears before Stratos can spot him. Stratos looks in confusion before he gets approached by Iceman.

Iceman: So, are those actual wings or are they artificial?

Stratos: No, lad, these are real.

Iceman: Y'know, I used to work with a guy with wings sprouting from his back. He'd probably like you.

Stratos: Sprouting from his back, y'say? I wouldn't mind meeting this teammate of yours once Skeletor's threat is dealt with.

Shadowcat: Bobby, Storm's holding a meeting.

Iceman: Right. Talk with you later, Birdman.

Stratos: ... Birdman...?

Buzz-Off: Still a better name than the one Trapjaw once gaver you, Old Timer.

Stratos: Old timer, eh?

Later in the evening, Kamala wakes up due to hearing a noise outside. She quietly investigates and discovers The X-Men are leaving the encampment.

Ms Marvel: Storm? What are you guys...?

Storm: We're leaving for a bit, Ms Marvel.

Ms Marvel: Why? Is it something to do with those Masters Of The Universe guys?

Magneto: We are leaving, Child, to hopefully give us a fighting chance by taking the battle to Doom's forces.

Ms Marvel: But we stand a better chance at working together than on two different fronts. I mean Doom is probably aware that we're still alive by now-.

Nova steps out from the shadows.

Nova: Kamala, let them go.

Ms Marvel: But it's not right-.

Gambit: No but it's a choice we're willing to live by.

Rogue: Plus, as our leader forgot to mention, Captain America gave us the okay to do this.

Ms Marvel: And you're absolutely sure I can't change your mind?

Storm: I can tell your heart's in the right place here but please respect our choice. The sooner we end this conflict, the sooner we can all go home.

Kamala is silent for a while before deciding that this is the right move to make and nods at Storm.

Ms Marvel: Okay. Just be careful out there.

Colossus: Do not worry, Little One, we're The X-Men. We are always careful.

Nova: And don't do anything too foolish without me, y'hear?

Jimmy: Wouldn't dream of it, Captain Buckethead.

Nova: Watch it, Wolvie.

Arana: Hey, mind if I tag along?

Storm: Of course.

Magneto: Storm-.

Storm: Without her help, we wouldn't have known about Battleworld's side effects. She comes with us. End of discussion.

Beast: Welcome to The X-Men, Miss. Hope you survive the experience.

With that said, The X-Men leave with Arana going with them and Kamala heads back with Nova to rejoin their allies. We fade to black.

Chapter Text

We open with a forest on fire and Adam running through it to avoid being killed by a large number of unseen pursuers. If you look closely, you can tell that the blade of his sword has been shattered somehow. He keeps running until he makes to a clearing and sees his entire world consumed in shadow and flame as Horde Soldiers obliterate everything and everyone in sight. Several of Adam's allies are either crucified or turned into mind controlled Horde Soldiers via Evil-Lyn's magic. Worst of all, Castle Greyskull has changed to resemble the face of Eternia's ancient and most dangerous enemy the universe has ever known. That enemy's name... is Hordak, who walks over to Adam with a dark power sword that has a blade of blood coloured steel and a black hilt as well as carrying a dead Teela.

Hordak: Greyskull's Heir, you end has come!

We cut to He-Man waking up in fright at that, revealing the whole thing was either a dream or a vision. He breates heavily before leaving his tent and is greeted by Teela.

Teela: Couldn't sleep?

He-Man: Something like that.

Teela: Do you want to talk about it?

He-Man: It was just a dream, nothing more. Why are you not sleeping?

Teela: I just can't get over us being here because of-.

He-Man: It was beyond their control, Teela. If it was in their control, I would still help regardless because that's who we are. Good people that will always lend a hand to those in need. That's one of the reasons you became a Master in the first place.

Teela: How do you know that?

He-Man: Prince Adam speaks highly of you and is a good judge of character.

Teela: Shame he can't be one on the battlefield.

He-Man desperately wants to tell Teela the truth but knows the consequences of revealing the secret to her. However, his heart triumphs in the end.

He-Man: Teela, there's something you need to know.

Cue Thor walking to them.

Thor: So this is where you two have been hiding. Captain America says we're to leave now before our foes find us.

He-Man: Wise decision.

Thor: I was going to wake the others now.

Teela: I'll help.

Teela goes with Thor but stops to look back at He-Man.

Teela: Oh, He-Man, that thing you wanted to tell me?

He-Man: Uh, it can wait until another time.

Teela heads on, leaving He-Man with his thoughts aboutWe fade to Scare Glow arriving back at The Villain's Fortress. He is greeted by Beast Man, who is stroking the head of a newly tamed griffin dragon hybrid type creature.

Beast Man: Where did you disappear to?

Scare Glow: To find our foes, Fur Ball, which I was lucky enough to accomplish.

Beast Man: Fur Ball?!

Before they come to blows, Skeletor arrives.

Skeletor: Scare Glow, report.

Scare Glow: But of course, Mighty Skeletor. I have news of our ally's enemies as well as He-Man.

Skeletor: He-Man?! Here?! Tell me where he is!

Scare Glow: A few miles from here in a village with our new ally's enemies.

Skeletor: Gather our forces! We're going after He-Man!

Triklops: But, Lord Skeletor, we dare not break the trust of our ally.

Skeletor: If He-Man is here, then damn our alliance-!

???: Excuse me?

The Evil Warriors turn to see Doom standing in the doorway and Skeletor bows.

Skeletor: Forgive me, Lord Doom. I got lost in my own-.

Doom: Kang was an example to everyone here. Don't follow in his footsteps. If you wish to send your forces to deal with this He-Man you despise, do so but remain here. I have need of your... abilities if I'm to achieve my goal.

Skeletor: Of course. Beast Man, Mer Man, Triklops, Evilseed, Scare Glow! Deal with our meddlesome pests and take a few of our friends with you!

Doom: I know just the ones you will need.

As if on cue, Doom reveals that Juggernaut, Taskmaster, Absorbing Man, Titania, Volcana, and Enchantress are standing behind him, ready for battle. Just a couple of feet away from The Villain's Fortress, Storm's group have made a small stop at a ridge. Jimmy spies The Wrecking Crew helping Molecule Man and MODOC with a couple of new upgrades made from parts of The Heroes' Fortress.

Jimmy: "To the victor, go the spoils."

???: No kidding.

Jimmy is surprised to see Ant-Man and Wasp emerge from the inside of his left pocket.

Jimmy: Scott? Nadia?

Wasp: Well, we didn't like sitting around doing nothing.

Ant-Man: And we really want to end this. Cassie is on Earth worried sick about me along with Henry.

Jimmy: Yeah, they aren't the only people worrying about us. Get over to one of The Wrecking Crew, particularly the blonde guy with half a brain, and find some good weaknesses in their defence systems to shut down before we launch our attack. Stay in contact.

Ant-Man: Got it.

Wasp: Will do. C'mon, Scott.

Ant-Man: Right behind you. Hey, Jimmy, it's good to have you back.

Jimmy: Good to be back on both my teams.

The two Micro Avengers take off towards their target as Jimmy slides down to meet with The X-Men and Arana.

Storm: Well?

Jimmy: Ant-Man and Wasp are sneaking in to get us info as we speak.

Magneto: Putting your trust in-.

Jimmy: Yeah, I am because they have earned their place on The Avengers and have earned my trust. That's something you still need to earn, Mr Mass Genocide.

Magneto: I only fight for our kind, Mr Hudson.

Jimmy: Tell that to Charles.

Storm: Stand down, the pair of you, or you'll give away our position.

Nightcrawler: Need me to port over there and get additional info? Because I can do that if need be.

Beast: As good of an idea as that is, Kurt, it would be more wise to trust The Avengers currently gaining information for Jimmy.

Rogue: If you say The Wrecking Crew are over there, that means we only have to worry about MODOC and Molecule Man.

Iceman: Pretty sure that Klaw is also over there too.

Shadowcat: I can just phase the guy into something. No biggie.

Gambit: Get down!

Everyone drops to the ground as the villains that are going after the rest of our heroes ensemble fly/leap by on the griffin dragon hybrid creature controlled by Beast Man.

Arana: They're going after the others. We should call it in.

Jimmy: On it. Hey, Wilson, up and at 'em. You got incoming.

Jimmy gets nothing but static due to Klaw revealing himself to be standing above them the entire time.

Klaw: So very naughty to come to our home uninvited.

Storm: TO ME, MY X-MEN!

A few miles from the village, the heroes have moved on in order to keep the entire village save from harm. Man At Arms is keeping watch with Sam Wilson.

Man At Arms: Think it was a good idea to leave early?

Captain America: It would lead to no casualties in the coming battle and I don't want anyone else to die on my watch.

Man At Arms: A good leader knows when to make sacrifices but a noble warrior knows that conflict will always lead to death.

Captain America: Then it's a good thing I'm both of those things right now.

Man At Arms: I suppose so. What kind of a name is Captain America, anyway?

Captain America: My actual name is Sam. Or Snap, if you want to go by nicknames.

Man At Arms: Duncan. Where did the name of Captain America come from?

Captain America: On my world, it belonged to a great man that helped us win World War II and he gave the mantle to me after a then recent event involving terrorists taking over The White House while an... ally was dealing with one of his villains. Ever since, I've been trying to live up to the standard he set and everyone thinks I'm doing a good job so far.

Man At Arms: And what do you think?

Before Sam can answer, he gets an alert from Redwing.

Captain America: Guys, we got incoming!

Cue Juggernaut slamming his fists and then getting punched away by both She-Hulk and Hulk.

She-Hulk: Incoming just packed up and lefty quickly.

Hulk: Ain't over yet.

He-Man: Agreed. Let's deal with the larger threat while your friends deal with the others.

Hulk: Show me how strong you truly are, Blondie.

The three charge as Thor slams down beside them before flinging Mjolnir at Juggernaut, who swats the hammer aside before charging towards them again along with Absorbing Man and Titania. Beast Man uses his pet to swat the strongest heroes aside but He-Man grabs the beast by the claw and forces it onto it's belly before She-Hulk leaps up to smack Beast Man off the giant animal. Meanwhile, Mer-Man faces off with The Fantastic Four and Teela.

Human Torch: Who's The Freaky Fish Guy that talks like Waspinator?

Teela: Mer-Man.

Mer-Man: Bluuuuuuurrrggghhh, time to meet your maker this time, Master!

The two enemies engage with Johnny backing Teela up from the air while Sue uses her force fields to create a small shield for Teela. Beast Man arrives on the scene to kick Ben onto his ass before striking at Ben with a crack from his whip.

Beast Man: Any last words, weakling?

Ben then changes back into his more rocky form, to his and Beast Man's surprise. Cue Ben grinning and cracking his rocky knuckles.

Thing: Yeah, I actually have one thing to say. IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIME!!!

Thing punches Beast Man as we cut to Storm's group fighting The Wrecking Crew, Klaw, and MODOC. Jimmy works with Gambit and Rogue against Bulldozer, Iceman and Shadowcat work together against Piledriver, Wrecker takes on Colossus and Beast, Arana takes on Klaw and MODOC by herself to very little success until Nightcrawler ports in to give her a helping hand, and Magneto flings Thunderball into the side of the fortress with a snap of the fingers.

Magneto: And I was hoping for a challenge.

Storm: Remember, stick to the plan.

Arana: Hard to do when there's a giant floating head and a dude made of sound attack us along with The Wrecking Crew!

Nightcrawler: You've got me at your side, Miss Arana.

Arana: Look out!

Anya pulls Kurt in closer to her, armours up, and deflects a sound blast from Klaw.

Arana: Get me closer to him.

Nightcrawler: Your wish will be my command.

Kurt ports her above Klaw and manhandles him, causing him to fire his sound blaster wildly at everyone. The heroes dodge and MODOC gets blasted into the side of the villains' fortress.

MODOC: FREE ME FROM THIS PREDICAMENT!

Klaw accidentally blasts MODOC again and the giant floating head smashes through several walls, bashing into Molecule Man towards a shrunken Wasp. Wasp grows to normal size and tries to land an uppercut on Owen but he uses his powers to encase her in amber.

Ant-Man: NADIA!

Molecule Man encases Ant-Man in a box made completely of diamonds.

Molecule Man: The heroes are here.

MODOC: No kidding, you cowardly dolt! Get outside and assist us in repelling them all now!

Molecule Man: I can't-! I mean, my power is too dangerous and unpredictable! One false move and I could kill us all!

Skeletor: Sometimes, achieving victory means you have to take the deadliest of risks!

Doom: Agreed but you're not helping. Mr Reese, what is your one desire out of everything? Ensuring the safety of Volcana, right? Well, I can tell you that she is lying dead at her current location while the heroes continue to try to prevent our victory.

Molecule Man: What? No, that's not true. Please tell me-.

Doom uses his power (while also helping Skeletor create a multidimensional doorway) to show a dead (unconscious in reality) Volcana, lying beneath a ton of rubble whilst the battle at the heroes' current position rages on. This causes Owen to break. He breathes heavily at first before going full mental lunatic and shooting out of the fortress and heading towards the other side of the planet. Storm tries blasting him out of the skies but he deflects each shot back towards the ground near the fortress.

Storm: He's going after The Avengers!

Rogue: Couldn't you, I dunno, try contacting Strange via your mind?

Gambit: Could use a hand, Marie!

Storm: Doctor Strange, Molecule Man is heading your way.

Strange hears the telepathic message while helping T'Challa in dealing with Triklops.

Doctor Strange: Understood, Ororo!

Black Panther: What is wrong? Does she need our help?

Doctor Strange: Owen Reese is on his way here and is probably pissed that his lover is buried under rubble right now.

Thor: Then we must end this battle quickly before he arrives! HAVE AT THEE!!!

Thor charges towards Juggernaut with some backup in the form of Hulk as Iron Man zooms over with Ms Marvel to take on the combined might of Titania and Absorbing Man. Teela, meanwhile is forced back by the combined might of Enchantress and Mer-Man. She closes her eyes as she puts all of her strength into holding back Mer-Man's intended trident strike. Teela's eyes open wide as they are now glowing bright blue and she forces Mer-Man back and blasts the villain as well as Enchantress back with a large beam of energy similar to the one that turn Adam into He-Man. Teela breathes heavily after that experience while Man At Arms rushes over to her side.

Man At Arms: Teela, are you-?

Teela: I'm fine, Father.

Iron Man: Any ideas, Cap?

Captain America: Hold them off as long as you can. Hopefully, Storm's team have the situation under control.

Nova: That's what I'm worried about.

Scare Glow appears before Nova, his entire body glowing bright green to indicate that his powers are about to activate.

Scare Glow: No, young hero, it is not. Now, face your fear and suffer!

Nova is then engulfed in shadows as everyone has left his sight and are all replaced... by a reanimated Peter Parker corpse, who has a third of the skin covering his face just hanging off the side as well as exposed muscle tissue and bones all around his body.

Corpse Peter Parker: Sam, why didn't you listen to me...?

Nova: Peter?

Corpse Peter Parker: I warned you about Norman Osborn and you shrugged it off...

Nova: No, I didn't know better. I thought-!

Nova gets struck by an unseen force before getting punched again while Ms Marvel is fighting off a crazed Nova in reality.

Ms Marvel: Nova, snap out of this.

Nova: I am so sorry, Webs.

Ms Marvel: Webs? Wait...

Scare Glow: It's no use, little girl. He will fight you while he believes he's facing his darkness fears and regrets-.

Cue Buzz-Off blasting Scare Glow back, bringing Nova out of the trance.

Buzz-Off: Shame you keep talking, Scare Glow. You would've beaten the entire Eternian royal guard by now if you kept quiet.

Cue Taskmaster engaging Stratos in single combat.

Stratos: What's your story? Working for Skeletor?

Taskmaster: Nah, I just want off this rock to get my reward.

Taskmaster pushes Stratos back to fire wildly with an uzi. Stratos dodges by taking flight. He-Man takes on Evilseed beating the villain back until he feels something going wrong with his current form.

He-Man: Something's going wrong... and I feel-.

The most powerful man in the universe yells out in pain before his transformation drops and he reverts back into Prince Adam while Battle Cat reverts back into Cringer. This whole thing shocks every hero present as Evilseed kicks Adam down onto the ground.

Teela: Adam?!

Evilseed: The prince of Eternia? Your death will be an amazing tale to tell your father.

Evilseed prepares to strike Adam down but Moss Man emerges from the ground to grab Evilseed's wrist and fling the villain towards a cliff face. Moss Man helps Adam up.

Moss Man: Are you okay, Your Highness?

Adam: Yeah, thanks. Cringer!

Cringer runs in terror from a charging Juggernaut but everyone gets shoved back by Molecule Man arriving and forcing them onto their bellies due to him altering the gravity around them. He notices the spot of rubble where Volcana has been buried under and he looks towards his enemies, eyes consumed with both energy and rage. We fade to black.

Chapter Text

We open with what appears to be a shooting star streaking across the cosmos. However, it soon stops moving and the glow around it slowly dissipates to reveal Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel. The reason for her halting her current flight across the stars is due to her tracking the signal Tony sent out from Battleworld. She zooms towards Battleworld, located far beyond the known universe and in territory that no humanoid has explored yet. She calls Abigail Brand before proceeding further.

Captain Marvel: This is Agent Danvers calling SWORD Command. Abi, do you read me?

Abigail: Barely, Carol. What's up?

Captain Marvel: I'm on the end of the cosmos and have spotted a planet that wasn't there before. Thinking of checking it out before I lose contact.

Abigail: Planets come and go faster than you can say Omega Flight. Check it out and report back if something of interest comes up.

Captain Marvel: This far out in space? There's probably nothing important going down on the rock anyway.

Cut to Ground Zero on Battleworld and Molecule Man unleashing the full might of his powers on The Avengers and Fantastic Four as well as his allies.

Doctor Strange: OWEN, CEASE THIS MADNESS!

Molecule Man: You should've thought of that the moment you "heroes" killed Volcana!

Molecule Man flings a torrent of rocks at Strange, who uses a shield spell to turn each rock into butterflies upon contact. Strange then unleashes a duplication spell on himself to attack Owen on all fronts while the heroes regroup and prepare for the next assault. However, The Masters are more focused on the revelation that came just a few minutes ago.

Teela: Adam, you were He-Man the entire time AND YOU NEVER TOLD US?!

Adam: I couldn't-!

Man At Arms: It wasn't his choice to tell you, Teela. Any of you or Skeletor would've gained the secrets of Castle Greyskull.

Teela backs away from her father.

Teela: You knew?

Duncan looks down, confirming Teela's question.

Stratos: Duncan, why...?

Adam: Can we discuss this AFTER we deal with our current situation?

Captain America: Agreed, Your Highness. Second attack incoming! Avengers Assemble!

Iron Man launches two tank missiles at Juggernaut and barely makes a scratch while Thor helps The Thing and Hulk take on the unstoppable villain with everything they've got. Absorbing Man and Titania take on She-Hulk, Ms Marvel, Songbird, and Nova. Taskmaster goes after Stark and Captain America with everything at his disposal. Doctor Strange keeps up his fight with Molecule Man while Volcana emerges from her makeshift grave.

Volcana: Hey, get the hell away from him!

Volcana shoots over and provides backup for her boyfriend while The Masters Of The Universe go up against The Evil Warriors once more despite the hurt they are currently experiencing right now, especially Teela. Back with Doom and Skeletor, the portal has neared completion. Wasp's amber encasing soon starts showing signs of cracking open as her hands start glowing.

Doom: Skeletor, I can manage the rest from here! Go and assist in the conflict occurring outside!

Skeletor: Of course, Lord Doom!

Skeletor takes his leave and prepares to blast Wasp into nothing... but Wasp breaks free and socks Skeletor across the jaw.

Wasp: Oops(!)

Skeletor growls before blasting at Wasp, who has now shrunk and proceeds to zap at Skeletor however she can before flying to Scott's box. Skeletor blasts at her with his Havoc Staff and she dodges so the blast hits/destroys Scott's box. He goes normal size to land an uppercut to the wannabe ruler of Eternia, dislodging the jaw. Skeletor takes a second to reconnect his jaw to his skull before resuming his conflict with Scott and Nadia, leading the two heroes out of the fortress. Doom fully opens the portal and sees The Beyonder merely watching the ongoing battle currently unfolding right now.

Beyonder: I have been expecting you, Victor Von Doom.

Doom takes a single step through and charges up green energy bolts from his hands as he approaches The Beyonder and the portal closes. And now, back to the fight. Strange holds his own pretty well against Molecule Man and Volcana, especially after casting a duplication spell on himself.

Doctor Strange: The powerful of molecular manipulation is nothing compared to the mystic arts!

Strange unleashes power beams at the two villains but Reece shields Volcana from the blast before zooming in to fight Strange face to face and fist to fist. Strange gets punched a few times before Owen uses his powers to remove Strange's ability to use his hands to cast any more spells. Owen kicks Strange down into the ground with enough force to make a massive crater upon impact.

Stratos: Is that bad?

Iron Man: Really bad but we know someone badder.

Hulk grins before rushing over to take on Owen but Molecule Man goes all out on Hulk by trapping the green goliath in a portion of the heroes' former base, even encasing Hulk in the wall of metal before passing one last remark.

Molecule Man: I guess you're not the strongest one there is anymore.

With a flick of the wrist, Hulk is flung off of Battleworld and zooms across the stars into the farthest reaches of space to the shock of everyone present as Molecule Man begins laughing.

Molecule Man: I did what you fellow felons couldn't! I got rid of The Hulk! NOBODY HAS ENOUGH POWER IN THIS UNIVERSE TO STOP ME!!!

Cue the arrival of Carol as she crashes down and stands ready for a fight. Luckily, she's about to get one.

Captain Marvel: Oh, I don't know about that. I may know one or two people that might stand a chance against you but I'll take the first shot at it.

Captain America: Carol!

Captain Marvel: Hope you don't mind me crashing the party, Sam.

Captain America: Appreciate it. Now, take Owen out before he kills us all.

Captain Marvel: It will be my pleasure.

Carol charges up her powers, shifting into Binary Level 1, before shooting towards Molecule Man and unleashes her full might on the villain. Owen tries to push Carol back but Carol just keeps powering through every attempt until she forces one of the most powerful beings in The Marvel Universe onto the ground as well as his knees. However, before Carol delivers a knockout punch, Volcana tackles Carol away from her boyfriend.

Volcana: Stay away from him!

Captain Marvel: Good. The more the merrier.

Carol stands ready as Titania joins Volcana along with Absorbing Man and Molecule Man. Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man join Carol's side.

Captain America: Let's finish this.

After that sentence, The Marvel Trinity join in on the clash. Tony and Thor unleash a huge amount of thunder/repulsor energy at Sam's mighty shield and it gets redirected to Molecule Man. Owen gets knocked out of the skies by that blast and Carol tackles him into the ground. She is about to land a punch but uses some of her energy to get into a brief beam struggle with Volcana while her allies take on Titania and Absorbing Man. The Masters Of The Universe and The Evil Warriors stare in slight amazement of the power their respective allies possess.

Man-At-Arms: Incredible...

Ms Marvel: That's Captain Marvel for ya.

Nova: Kamala.

Ms Marvel: Right. Fangirl over Carol later.

Earth's Mightiest Heroes prepare to once again fight their respective foes once more with The Masters Of The Universe when the ground starts shaking a little with tremor after tremor. It almost feels like Galactus is back in Earth-1616 because that's the only person coming to everyone's minds right now. Well, everyone bar the people of Eternia because Eternia was lucky enough to avoid any form of contact with The Devourer Of Worlds.

Triklops: Is this another one of your tricks, Earthlings?

Songbird: Not ours.

Prince Adam, however, is the first person to spot what is causing the tremors.

Adam: Uh, guys, is that one of your baddies too?

The heroes look confused and then a giant shadow looms over everyone present. They all look up in both confusion and shock as the giant shadow belongs to... a giant Doctor Doom, who is now sporting the look of God Emperor Doom from Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3.

Doom: THE BEYONDER IS DEAD! NOW, THE SUPREME BEING IN THE UNIVERSE IS DOOM!!!

We cut to black.

We open from where we left off last time as Doom slowly returns to normal size to speak to friend and foe alike as well as removing his mask to reveal his healed face, much to everyone's surprise.

Doom: Forgive the interruption of your conflict but these Secret Wars are over now.

Captain America: Over now?

Captain Marvel: What’s going on here, Stark?

Iron Man: It’s a long story, Carol.

Doom: Indeed. Major Danvers, allow me to catch you up on these events before more of your questions are asked.

Doom raises a hand and Carol is shown all of the events that recently unfolded on Battleworld up until now. She breathes heavily afterwards as her allies keep her steady while Doom uses his powers to bring the rest of the heroes and villains to his current location, much to everyone's confusion.

Jimmy: What the hell..?

Storm: How did we end up back here?

Magneto: Is this your doing, Doom?

Doom: Indeed, Lensherr. I have acquired the powers of The Beyonder.

Iceman: Wait, does that basically make you a God now?

Doom: In a manner of speaking but such titles are not to my liking.

Mr Fantastic: Victor, how did you even gain Beyonder's powers?

Doom: Always seeking the answers to questions you don't know the answer to, Richards. Rather than tell the tale, I shall show you what transpired as your conflict raged across this patchwork of a planet. First though...

Doom then raises his hand to bring Kang back to life.

Kang: What...? How am I...?

Doom: You live because I have allowed it, Conqueror. Now, let me show you my battle with The Beyonder.

Doom then begins showing the battle he had with the being known as The Beyonder, starting off with Doom entering the portal he made with Skeletor's help to Beyonder's domain far above Battleworld.

Beyonder: I have been expecting you, Victor Von Doom.

Doom: You would be wise to surrender right now, old man.

Beyonder: True but where's the fun in that. Besides, it's been a while since I've had to stretch my muscles. Let's see how long it takes for you to beg for mercy.

Doom: Doom begs to no one!

Doom unleashes a combined might of mystical and electrical energy right at the cosmic entity but The Beyonder stands unphased before calmly raising a finger to blast Doom into the farthest corner of his domain. Doom gets back up and zooms towards his opponent, who does a side step and merely flicks Doom into the ground, creating a massive crater. Doom recovers quickly to blast at Beyonder, who dodges quickly before turning into nothing but pure energy while chukcling at this.

Beyonder: Very impressive, "my lord".

Doom: You dare mock Doom?!

Beyonder: Oh, I can do more than mock. In fact, I'll give you a taste of my full power without any bit of restraint.

Cue Doom getting bombarded by a large amount of cosmic energy that is enough to reduce a normal man to nothing but ash on the ground but Doom is no mere man as he uses his backup mystical energies to create a small shield around his entire body and struggles to stand back up. This display impresses The Beyonder a little before he pours on the power to finally make Doom bow but Doom continues to get up, focusing on his goals as a coping mechanism as his body grows weaker. Finally Doom drops the shield and unleashes a fatal blast at The Beyonder, shooting the being through the heart and reducing the entity to nothing but stardust. Doom then feels the energy from Beyonder's body begin to fade and uses the little resolve he has left to cast a spell to take The Beyonder's power for his own. Doom is restored to perfect health and then some. His clothing changes from dark green to pure white as he begins adjusting to his new power and status as a cosmic being. Back to the present.

Doom: There you have it. The Beyonder is dead and Doom has taken his place.

Kang: You were right the entire time, Doom.

MODOC: Indeed, I am wrong to have misjudged your intent.

Juggernaut: Now, with the odds in our favour, we can wipe the floor with these guys!

Doom: Oh, I don't think so.

The villains bar Molecule Man, Enchantress, and Skeletor's Evil Warriors are then forced into a small bubble. Rogue attempts to use her powers on Doom to stop him but Doom freezes her in place.

Doom: Relax, everyone. I am merely returning these fellons to their proper place on Earth.

As soon as he says that, the villains disappear, returning to their proper place before they were taken by The Beyonder. Rogue is then freed.

Rogue: You won't do that again.

Doom: Not unless I wish to. Now, I believe there's something else I can do for your young friend. I will return New Jersey to Earth and I'll need your help, Mr Reece.

Molecule Man: Me?

Doom: You can put up a protective shield around the state as I send it back.

Molecule Man: Yes, but I need to be in the centre of it.

Doom: Go.

Doom snaps his fingers and New Jersey floats away from it's placement on Battleworld, zooming back to Earth as Molecule Man protects the civilians with a protective bubble around the city. Doom then projects his logo in various parts of Earth.

Doom: People of Earth, this is Victor Von Doom. I have been taking part in a test by a being of immense power. That same being is the one that stole New Jersey. As a token of my gratitude, I return this state to you without a single life lost. Your protectors best prepare cause it is returning fast. That is all.

New Jersey returns to Earth... and nearly squashes Peter Parker, who is saved at the last second by Majestia. Doom relaxes after his task is complete.

Ms Marvel: Thank you.

Nova: Don't thank the dictator.

Enchantress: Victor...

Doom: Worry not, Enchantress. I just need a moment to catch my breath.

Doctor Strange: Why return Jersey? You could've subjected the people to your will.

Doom: If I am to rule the world, I wish to do it the right way. Now, allow me to show you Latverian hospitality as we feast.

Doom uses his power to create a massive fortress as well as a lawn of food from Earth as well as Eternia. The heroes as well as the remaining villains approach with caution while Doom creates a glass of wine with his power.

Doom: I insist. Help yourselves to whatever you wish.

Doctor Strange: What I wish is to know if you made sure that The Beyonder is dead. For all we know, he could have tricked you into thinking he's dead.

Doom: I ended him with my own might, Strange. Doom's word is enough.

Beast: How do we know that we can even believe a word you say?

Human Torch: More importantly, what's this about you telling Spider-Man about Goblin's location?

Doom: It is as I said. I told him of Osborn's plot in Symkaria and the rest is history.

???: He's dead.

Everyone looks to Anya, who is marching towards Doom and her fellow heroes hold her back.

Arana: Your help cost the life of a great man! Peter Parker was my friend and, because of you, he's now dead!

Doom: No, Peter Parker still lives and is working on ending Osborn's threat once and for all.

Doom shows off Peter returning to infiltrate New York with the help of his allies.

Ant-Man: A lot can happen in two months, I guess.

Doom: Two months? On Earth, it is near the end of November.

Everyone: Screw this place.

Arana: How do I know this isn't you faking all of this?

Doom: Dr Corazon, Doom is many things and a liar is not among those things. Peter Parker is alive and will continue to live as long as Doom wills it so.

Thing: Hey, let the bug go. He did nothing to you-.

Doom: And you will do nothing to me.

Doom flexes his left arm and Ben reverts to his human form once more.

Ben: Hey, I'm me again!

Doom: I bestow upon you the ability to shift between your forms, Grimm, and that's something Richards never accomplished in his time as a hero.

Mr Fantastic: Don't go there, Victor.

Doom: As you wish.

Thor: Can you return Hulk to us, if you're granting our wishes now?

Doom uses his power to locate The Hulk... and finds no trace of the rage monster in any part of the known universe.

Doom: I can not find him.

She-Hulk: Bring my cousin back, Chrome Dome!

Doom: I am unable to find your relative, Ms Walters. It's as if whatever world he's on has been shielded from the rest of the universe for some reason unknown to me.

Wolverine: Where's a telepath when you need one?

Doom: I speak the truth. Don't I, Odinson?

Thor: ... Aye, Doom's words ring true.

Adam: And yet, his name is literally Doom. How can we expect to trust him?

Teela: Coming from you? That's rich, Your Highness.

Man-At-Arms: Now is not the time for this discussion.

Skeletor: What are you fools prattling about?

Buzz-Off: Nothing that a blast to your boney face wouldn't solve.

Captain America: Enough!

Everyone looks to Sam, who has been quiet throughout most of the events after seeing Doom's story of how he acquired The Beyonder's powers.

Captain America: Doom, can the two of us speak in private?

Doom: As long as no further bloodshed occurs.

Captain America: You have my word. Everyone, stand down. I'll be back in a moment.

Sam leaves with Doom and they enter the fortress. Doom approaches the throne and sits down.

Doom: Speak, Mr Wilson.

Captain America: I just want to ask you a few short things. What else will you do now that you have the power of a god?

Doom: Sam, I have already done that the moment I adjusted to my new power. My mother's soul has been shackled to The Lords Of Hell since I was a boy. No longer. Plus, you are also aware of my facial restoration.

Captain America: Yes. Is Spider-Man still alive? Forgive me if I don't completely believe you. He is a good hero and...

Doom: I understand your concern for Dr Parker. Here.

Doom shows Sam the moment Peter reunites with his wife (as seen in Spider-Man: Go Down Swinging).

Peter: Hey, KitKat.

Ava: Hey, Web Head.

Sam smiles a little before returning his focus to Doom.

Captain America: What now?

Doom: Now, I will do what I plan to do back on Earth. Rule. Your friends can stay as long as you need to but know that there will be consequences for your choices to come in the next minutes of your existence.

Captain America: I understand, Victor. Know that we will stop you the moment you step out of line, even to our last breath.

Doom just glares at Sam without responding to that threat before waving his hand and all of the heroes get teleported to their restored fortress a few miles away from Doom's new kingdom. Strange appears before Sam along with Tony, Thor, Storm, Magneto, Carol, and Reed.

Doctor Strange: What did you speak to Doom about?

Captain America: Just finding out if Peter really was dead as well as his intentions.

Iron Man: Lemme guess, he wants to rule Battleworld?

Captain America: And is allowing us to stay as long as we wish so long as we don't provoke him.

Magneto: History will repeat itself if we even consider doing that. My people lived under one and it was... painful.

Captain Marvel: What would you have us do?

Magneto: Go out in full force against Doom before he becomes fully accustomed to his newfound power.

Mr Fantastic: Keep in mind that if we decide to oppose Doom, he might wipe us out without a second thought or any chances of showing mercy.

Black Panther: He'd wipe us out either way, Dr Richards, if one remembers his assault on Wakanda.

Everyone turns to see T'Challa walk into the room. Storm kisses her husband on the cheek before he gets serious again.

Captain America: In the end, we have to make a decision, regardless of the consequences. I... have to make a decision.

Thor: If you wish, we can let you think about it a little longer, Captain.

Storm: Just know that The X-Men will support your choice, Sam.

Captain America: Thank you, Storm. Can I have the room to myself?

The others respect Sam's decision and leave. Sam takes a look at the shield of his mentor/friend, wondering what Steve would do in his place, as we briefly flash back to the moment Sam received the shield from Steve after dealing with The Secret Empire.

Steve: I know you'll make me proud, Sam.

Sam: I'll do my best, Steve. Just... don't be mad if the world blows up.

Steve: Heh, there's very little chances of that happening with Captain America continuing the fight for liberty and justice.

Back to the present, Sam senses that someone else is in the room and turns to see Adam approach with Cringer.

Adam: Everything okay, Sir?

Captain America: Yeah, I was just lost in my own thoughts.

Adam: I can tell you're doubting yourself a little. I have a little experience in that department. All I had to do was believe in myself and trust in my friends as well as my own actions regardless of the consequences. Sure, those actions are currently biting me in the butt but I did what I had to in order to protect everyone I cared for.

Captain America: And him?

Adam: Oh, Cringer? He's a scaredy cat but is starting to find his courage.

Sam pats the tiger's head lightly before looking to Adam. They both nod before heading to meet with the rest of their friends and allies.

Captain America: Guys, I'm going after Doom and making sure he doesn't go too far with his actions. I am not Steve and I'm also not asking any of you to fight with me since he's allowing you to go at any time but just know that you have a choice. I'm choosing to stay and fight till my last breath. We've seen what The Beyonder can do with his powers and I don't wish to find out what darker plans Doom has in store for the rest of the universe. Who's with me?

Silence from the heroes until Adam raises his hand, followed by Jimmy, then The Avengers, and the rest of the gathered heroes raise their hands, all willing to help Sam. Once Kitty makes her vote, a bolt of cosmic energy crashes down on the heroes... and kills them instantly, revealing Doom was aware of the entire conversation and ended their attempt to confront him once more.

Doom: A pity, Mr Wilson.

Skeletor: You killed them?

Doom: Any who oppose Doom will meet a similar fate, Skeletor. Do you wish to join them?

Skeletor: ... No.

Doom: Good. Now, leave me in peace.

Skeletor leaves Doom to sit in his throne room, alone to his many thoughts about his new power. We fade to black.

Chapter Text

We open with the villains of Earth halfway on their return journey. However, a strange thing penetrates to bubble to possess Klaw. Klaw becomes a little weirder than usual before forcing himself out of the bubble and floating back to Battleworld as fast as he can. He soon arrives and hits the ground with a massive thud as the heroes get killed by God Emperor Doom. Klaw giggles before making his way towards the new emperor's palace, which is now dubbed New Latveria. Klaw spots Zsaji approaching the estroyed fortress that the heroes were in and begins to get an idea. Klaw soon reaches New Latveria, avoiding a party of Doom Soldiers lead by Skeletor to retrieve The Sword Of Power from whatever remains of Adam, and is stopped by Scare Glow.

Scare Glow: Who dares approach New Latveria? Identify yourself!

Klaw simply blasts Scare Glow into the nearest wall until the Eternian is unconscious before proceeding into the mighty building. Klaw approaches Doom... but gets restrained by Enchantress, who has been blessed with a new sense of loyalty to Doom as well as pure white armour.

Enchantress: You would dare to approach God Emperor Doom, Mortal!

Klaw: Forgive my intrusion but I must speak to your lord. It is of great importance.

Doom: Let him approach, Amora.

Amora releases Klaw and Doom approaches his ally.

Doom: Forgive me, Klaw. Now, what news do you wish to inform me of?

Klaw: My lord, the heroes are still alive.

Doom: What...?

Before we get more of that, we get shown Zsaji approaching a badly injured Colossus, who barely continues to breath thanks to his mutation.

Colossus: Thank you, Mutant Power...

Piotr coughs a little as Zsaji caresses his face.

Zsaji: Why do you do what you do?

Colossus: Because being a hero is... the right thing to do... even saving the one's we care for and the people we don't... know...

Zsaji looks around at the dead bodies, being reminded of her own past of seeing her people fighting off blood thirsty creatures in order to save everyone in their tribe. Zsaji looks at Colossus and uses all of her power to restore him to life... at the cost of her own. She collapses and Colossus closes her lifeless eyes before noticing a stairway leading down towards a healing chamber. He picks up Sam Wilson and Adam... just as Jimmy Hudson comes back to life, snapping his neck back into it's proper place.

Colossus: Jimmy!

Wolverine: That... really hurt.

Colossus: Pick up whoever you can. There's a chance we can save everyone with the equipment under the base.

Jimmy drags Thor down the stairs as Colossus gently places Adam in one pod and Sam Wilson in the other. He activates the machine with a press of a button and the two heroes are returned to life... just as Skeletor arrives on the scene.

Skeletor: Greetings, Adam. Or should I call you... He-Man?

Adam: Uncle Keldor...

Skeletor blasts at Adam, who dodges to quickly grab The Power Sword. Then, when Adam points the blade at Skeletor, he transforms back into He-Man without even uttering the infamous transformation phrase. He-Man charges at his longtime foe and they trade blows as Jimmy enters the fray with Sam Wilson.

Captain America: Piotr, we'll hold these guys off as long as we can! Get the others back to life!

Colossus: Aye aye, Captain America!

Colossus gets to work while Sam and Jimmy fight back to back and Adam fights his uncle.

Skeletor: Y'know, Adam, you being He-Man made a ton of sense the more I thought about it after Triklops informed me of your little secret!

He-Man: Glad you know! This'll make things a lot more easier!

He-Man pushes Skeletor back with all of his might just as Cringer is brought back to life and reverts back into being Battle Cat.

Battle Cat: ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!

Over with Doom being told by Klaw of the heroes' survival.

Doom: How are they alive? I destroyed them in one strike.

Klaw: That strike might not have been enough to kill one of them due to their abilities. Think about it. Ben Grimm is made of rock and your powers may not have penetrated his hide, Wolverine has a healing factor as powerful as his father's healing factor, any of the Hulks wouldn't stay down for long, and that X-Man with the organic metal skin could probably withstand bombardments of any kind. Or maybe, and this is a massive maybe, you didn't want to kill them.

Doom: You would think Doom is completely merciful?

Klaw: I'm not saying you are but it's possible you need the heroes to still fight against you because you don't want your power.

Doom: The more you talk, Klaw, the more I'm inclined to destroy you.

Doom then feels weak, realising he's being overusing his newfound power up until now.

Klaw: See? You've been overtaxing yourself in your attempt to deal with your enemies. Let me share your burden, Lord Doom, and we can end their threat to your rule together.

Doom breathes heavily before nodding in agreement. He takes Klaw's hand and provides the being of living sound a portion of Beyonder's power just as Enchatress enters the room.

Enchantress: What are you doing?!

Doom: It's fine, Amora. Klaw is one of us now. What news of Skeletor?

Enchantress: He has engaged the one called He-Man in single combat and the heroes are... alive and on their way to the palace.

Klaw: Then let's give them a royal welcome!

Klaw uses his portion of The Beyonder's power to create several massive kaiju in the image of Doom as well as an army of footsoldiers in the guise of Doom's Doombots.

Klaw: Army of Doom, forwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaard MARCH!

The accurately named Army Of Doom marches out of the castle to confront the fully revived heroes bar He-Man, who is still clashing with Good Ol' Bonehead.

Captain America: Everyone know the plan?

Winter Soldier: We all got your back, Sam.

Captain America: In that case, Avengers Assemble!

Storm: To me, my X-Men!

Thing: IT'S CLOBBERIN' TIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIME!!!

Ms Marvel: *SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!* EMBIGGEN!!!

The heroes charge with Sam taking to the skies further ahead of his teammates and allies so he can fight his way into the fortress of God Emperor Doom. Tony, Thor, Carol, Storm, Magneto, Strange, Nova, and Songbird flank Sam's sides to provide cover for him as he shoots towards the main spire. Sam activates his Redwing drone to scan a weakness in the fortress for him.

Captain America: Hey, Sam, do you think you can bring the boom in the centre of the middle spire?

Nova: Oh, just watch me.

Captain Marvel: I got your back, kid.

Nova and Captain Marvel unleash a huge combined beam of cosmic energy at the spire, creating a hole. Sam flies in and quickly dispatches Beast Man before heading down the stairs as fast as he can. The X-Men focus their might on the Doombots with Iceman and Kitty phasing through a few along with freezing them solid so The Human Torch can melt them into piles of scrap. Colossus notices a kaiju and notices Jimmy giving him a look. The Russian mutant walks over to his teammate and they perform the fastball special, with Jimmy flying down the monster's throat to slash away at it's organs. She-Hulk keeps a few Doombots at bay while Stratos and Buzz Off perform dive bombs on the smallest of the ten kaiju. Gambit and Rogue blow up approaching Doombots with Gambit's power. The FF help out as best as they can via tech Reed acquired from the remains of their fortress. Strange banishes the remaining kaiju to The Mirror Dimension before deflecting incoming missiles back towards the fortress. Tony notices more enemies being created.
Iron Man: Guys, we got more of these guys on the way.

Thor: Time to bring down the hammer!

Thor charges up his mighty weapon before crashing down and smiting everything in sight with a ton of lightning. He then throws Mjolnir at Doom's fortress to destroy the remaining spires. However, more are created and more foot soldiers are born on the spot.

Captain Marvel: I don't know if we can keep this up for long.

Teela: Agreed. I'm starting to get tired a little bit...

Bucky: We got to hold out as long as we can and buy Sam all of the time he needs. Keep fighting.

She-Hulk: I'm with ya, Buddy. She-Hulk SMASH!

Jen leaps into the air and slams her fists into the ground to cause a massive fissure to form beneath a platoon of approaching Doombots as we cut to Sam confronting Doom and Enchantress. Sam quickly flings his shield at the sorceress to distract her before quickly knocking her out with a few well placed punches.

Doom: Defiant till the end. Rogers would be proud.

Captain America: It's over, Doom.

Doom: It'll be over when I rid myself of you all.

Sam gets the shield before taking on the dictator, who creates twin blades made of pure energy to combat him. Sam holds his own for a brief bit until Doom stabs him in the left thigh and blasting off 2/8 of the shield. Doom then blasts Sam towards a wall before finally eradicating him on one blast. Doom sighs in disappointment, mostly because he didn't want to kill Sam... and Sam immediately comes back to life.

Doom: How can this be?!

Doom kills Sam again and Sam comes back to life and this repeats seven more times until Doom screams in agony as The Beyonder's power proves to be too much for him to control, creating massive shockwaves as well as beginning to cause Battleworld to begin to erupt piece by piece.

Doom: Wilson, I can not control...!

Captain America: Victor, you need to pass the power on to someone else!

Doom: I can't...!

Captain America: Doom, listen to me! Latveria needs it's ruler and you need an anchor before you destroy us all! Let me help you!

Doom begrudgingly lowers his pride and reaches for Sam's hand.

Then, the being possessing Klaw emerges and reveals himself to be... The Beyonder.

The Beyonder: I believe I'll be doing that, Captain America!

The Beyonder then takes Doom's hand and forces his powers out of Doom's body, regaining full control of his abilities once more.

The Beyonder: The Secret Wars are over.

Cue a flash of white ending this chapter.

Chapter Text

We open with the heroes, The Masters Of The Universe, Doom, Enchantress, Klaw, and Skeletor's Evil Warriors waking up a few yards away from Doom's palace while The Beyonder is flexing his fingers and taking Battleworld apart piece by piece nearby. Sam is the first to approach the cosmic being.

Beyonder: Oh, you're all finally awake? Good to know. I might've overdone the whole ending the good vs evil experiment thing just a little.

Captain America: No kidding...

Beyonder: As promised, I'm returning the pieces of my Battleworld back to their respective places in the universe and you all get to have all that you desire granted. Oh, but first though...

The Beyonder snaps his fingers and sends the villains back to wherever they belong. Once Doom arrives back in Latveria in front of a startled Di Amara, He punches the ground before yelling in defeat and anguish. Back on Battleworld, The Beyonder turns to Sam.

Beyonder: All they deserve is whatever fate has planned for them, even though I don't believe in fate. Now, what do you all want?

Sam looks towards his allies, who have recovered and are approaching The Beyonder.

Captain America: The only thing I desire is the shield be repaired.

Beyonder: Really? That old dustbin lid?

Captain America: It's more than a shield, Beyonder.

Beyonder: Only in the right hands... and they are in the best hands one could ask for.

The Beyonder waves his hand and the shield of Captain America is repaired. Sam places the shield on his back and goes to join his allies.

Beyonder: Now, everyone else, I shall grant you everything you desire as promised. Speak now or forever hold thy peace.

He-Man: Beyonder, we just wish to return to Eternia.

Beyonder: Very well, Prince Adam of Eternia and Heir of King Greyskull, I shall open a portal back to your world.

The Beyonder does just that and The Masters Of The Universe turn to their new allies.

Thor: I wish you the best of luck, Eternians, and may our pathes cross again.

He-Man: Oh, that's something I don't doubt.

Man-At-Arms: And good luck in your future adventures, People of Earth.

Wolverine: They don't need luck. They got me.

Teela: I like him.

They all bow to each other before The Masters Of The Universe return to their homeworld, unaware of the ancient evil awaiting them on the other side.

Thing: Hey, Beyonder, can I keep my ability to change from human to my rocky form? It'll be less hassle for my friends if I can.

Beyonder: You may, Benjamin J. Grimm.

Human Torch: Good to have the old you around again, bud.

Ben changes back into his human form and nudges Johnny lightly on the shoulder.

Ben: Thanks, Matchstick.

Ben then turns back into The Thing.

Doctor Strange: I don't wish for anything. However, I should probably see if any of the residents require help.

The Sorcerer Supreme opens a portal to a random area on Battleworld. Strange instantly recognises said area and his eyes widen in slight terror at seeing an old girlfriend of his helping with the repairs of that certain part of Battleworld.

Doctor Strange: NOPE!

Strange closes the portal and we get the reveal that said ex girlfriend is none other than...

Eda Clawthorne: Huh? Someone there? Hm. Maybe I should cut back on the apple blood after this is done.

The Owl Lady resumes helping her fellow witches with the repair work. Colossus approaches with Zsaji's lifeless body.

Colossus: Can you give her life once more and ensure her people are placed on a safe world?

Beyonder: A desire so noble, Mr Rasputin. Consider it granted.

Zsaji stirs a little before she, along with her people, are sent to a world much saver than their homeworld.

She-Hulk: I want to know if my cousin is alright.

Beyonder: Worry not, Ms Walters, for you will see Bruce Banner when things seem the most dire.

She-Hulk: Thank you.

Ms Marvel: ... Can I have Captain Marvel sign my old Ms Marvel poster?

Captain Marvel: Wait, what?

Ms Marvel: Sorry, I forgot to ask you for an autograph a long time ago and...

Beyonder snaps his fingers and Carol is now holding a pen as well as a poster of herself in her iconic Ms Marvel costume. Carol gives a small smirk as if to say "what the hell" and signs the poster to Kamala. Kamala squees in delight, much to everyone's amusement.

Thor: Beyonder, I wish to know the identity of Loki's daughter on Midgard.

Beyonder: I honestly thought you'd ask for the prevention of Ragnarok, Odinson.

Thor: You would only postpone it for a short time. Ragnarok is inevitable.

Beyonder: May I ask why you wish to know his daughter's name?

Thor: ... So I can visit her grave when all is said and done.

Beyonder nods in understanding and conjours up a brief image of Loki's daughter, who you already know is none other than Lila Rossi aka Volpina.

Thor: Thank you.

Beyonder: Mr Stark, what do you wish for?

Iron Man: I just want to know what you'll do now after this is said and done.

Beyonder: Hmm, you know what's funny? I never thought that far ahead. I guess my age really is catching up to me. Maybe I'll return to my own dimension and reconnect with my people. Who can really say? And what of you, Dr Corazon?

Arana: I didn't think I'd get a say since I'm technically not a part of your whole thing.

Beyonder: I gave The Eternians a fair short. What do you desire?

Arana: ... I want my friend, Peter Parker, to know that his future is in good hands.

Beyonder: You do realise that knowing one's future might cause that future to never come to fruition.

Arana: I know. Just do it.

Beyonder flicks his wrist... and we see Peter briefly get transported from New York in November 2018 to New York in the year 2021 due to a malfunction in Alchemax's Time Gateway but soon returns to his proper place in the timeline after helping The Spider-Men Of The Future prevent Earth-1616 from being destroyed, satisfied with the future he helped create. Back to Battleworld, and The Beyonder looks to everyone else.

Beyonder: Nobody else?

Rogue: Actually, could you help me gain better control my powers? I caused a lot of damage to others in the past and don't wish to relive that kind of pain again.

Beyonder: Something tells me you already have, my dear. However, I can at least do it for your attempt to stop Victor earlier after my supposed death.

Beyonder then grants Rogue better control of her powers. This is something she notices Carol smiling about. The two exchange a nod, finally ending the long tension between them. The Beyonder then opens portals back to Earth and everyone heads through each one, returning to their respective headquarters. Sam gives The Beyonder a final salute before joining his fellow heroes as they step through the portal back to Avengers Tower... and Sam ends up getting surprised attacked by a Goblinoid, which he quickly dispatches.

Captain America: What the hell was that?

Another Goblinoid attempts to launch a surprise attack but Sam gets saved by Nova.

Nova: Goblins in New York?! How the hell...?

Thor: By Odin's beard...

The Avengers look down to see their city currently at war with The Goblin Nation. JARVIS then comes back online.

JARVIS: Greetings, Avengers.

Captain America: JARVIS, patch me through to Uncanny Valley!

JARVIS: Doing it as we speak, Mr Wilson.

Uncanny Valley appears as a 3D hologram.

Uncanny Valley: Hello?

Captain America: Aeon, it's Sam Wilson. What's going-?

Uncanny Valley: Captain America? Oh it is so good to hear your voice again. Hold on a second...

The hologram changes from that of Uncanny Valley to a hologram of Jess Keynes, aka Eagle.

Eagle: Cap, is that you? For real?

Captain America: We're back, Jess.

Eagle: Good. Because I have to ask you a very important question. WHERE THE FUCK HAVE YOU GUYS BEEN THESE PAST FEW MONTHS?!?!?! ALL HELL HAS BROKEN LOOSE HERE AND PETER IS FIGHTING OSBORN BY HIMSELF!!!

Iron Man: Good to see she's taking our return well.

Captain America: Stow it for now, Tony. New York needs help and we're back to give them the help they need. Let's go, Avengers!

Tony gives Sam a nod before the entire team heads out to aid in the final battle between Peter Parker and Norman Osborn. We cut to black.

PLANET SAKAAR

We open with Hulk waking up, feeling bruised all over. He takes a look at his surroundings and is visibly confused by what appears to be a desert. Hulk can tell by one look that this isn't Earth because he notices a bug creature being harassed by red skinned aliens in gold armour. The bug creature named Miek screams in fear.

Miek: HELP!!!

Hulk stands tall and approaches the aliens.

Hulk: Stop! Leave the little guy alone!

Hulk punches one of the soldiers before kicking another close by. To Hulk's surprise, none of them are as easily injured as the people of Earth as they quickly recover and converge on Hulk, zapping him with their taser staffs. Hulk takes a staff and whacks one soldier across the face with it. Hulk keeps up his assaults while continuing to not go down without making sure the little bug guy is save and taking down all four of his opponents down, panting heavily after doing so. Hulk turns to a grateful Miek.

Hulk: Are you okay?

Miek: Thank you, Stranger.

However, this victory is short lived as Hulk feels a huge amount of electricity surge through him and renders him unconscious once more. Standing over Hulk as well as Miek is a grey skinned woman named Caiera. She then zaps Miek with a tiny device on his chest called an Obedience Disk before placing one on Hulk's chest.

Cairea: You can't escape The Red King. The green one showed some skill in combat. Take them to the collesium.

Captain: At once, Lady Cairea.

She walks away as the soldiers drag Hulk and Miek towards a place made of gold and silver known to it's inhabitants as The Crown City. We fade to black.

ETERNIA

We open with a short of the capital city of Eternia in ruins as well as under the control of The Evil Horde. A portal opens just outside the city and The Masters Of The Universe step out of it. They are shocked by the sight of their home in ruins.

He-Man: What happened here?

Cue rubble moving a little and a badly injured Orko emerges, collapsing in Duncan's arms.

Teela: Orko!

Orko weakly opens his eyes.

Inside the throne room of Castle Greyskull, Eternia's ancient enemy, Hordak, sits upon a throne made of bones and swords of all that have fallen in his conquest of the planet. He is seen to be sleeping while holding his own power sword in his left hand. Evil-Lyn (wearing armour based on her Sorceress Of Greyskull outfit from Masters Of The Universe: Revelation) approaches the throne just as Hordak senses something, or rather someone, far in the ruins of the capital city of Eternia.

Evil-Lyn: My Lord Hordak, what is it?

Hordak: Finally, the battle I've long been waiting for has come at last.

Hordak stands tall and raises his sword, prompting his top lieutenants to rise.

Hordak: GO FORTH, MY LOYAL SUBJECTS! The Heir Of King Greyskull has returned!

Hordak's Evil Horde marches out of the room with their leader following close behind as we pan over to a cell with Skeletor and Randor moping away. However, Randor knows the exact person Hordak mentioned just now and raises his head in concern as he utters the name of the person.
