Summary
Hermione watched Adrian enter the kitchen over Theo’s shoulder. He leant against the edge of the work counter and crossed his legs at the ankles, his hands shoved deep into his pockets.
“What’s for dessert?” Adrian smirked, “because I suggest the snakes enter the lion's den and eat the lioness.”
Hermione jumped back from Theo’s hold and looked at him in disbelief. “You’ve got to be kidding me?”
“Darling, am I laughing?” He deadpanned.
Silence cascaded across the kitchen. Her mind fell blank.
Adrian just suggested they have her for dessert.
