Despite his desire to live his life to the fullest, even knowing that he would not live to old age because of his heart, Kardia did enjoy some calmness once in a while.
“You are like a cat today. Wanting to cuddle all day,” Dégel muttered in a fond way, giving up the fight between trying to read his book and his lover who kept demanding some attention. Well, to be fair, they had gotten into bed a while ago, just to enjoy some peace and quiet today.
“I am not crazy enough to do something stupid after a such bad fever as I had only yesterday, or you will make me stay in bed by some use of your ice, darling.”
Thanks to his powers over cold, Dégel felt wonderfully cold to the touch between them, even now when Kardia no longer suffered from the fever which had troubled him so much yesterday.
“Proves that you have some common sense in that head of yours, my apple-loving beast….hey, mind my glasses, please!”
The rather fierce kiss was not all unexpected, at least not when Kardia was in this mood. They had come a long way from the beginning of their current relationship, after all, and Dégel was almost waiting for something like this to happen any moment.
“They and your clothes are in the way for what sort of stuff we can do instead, darling.”
For many it would be a surprise to hear Kardia try to say seductive words in French, and while he did indeed pronounce them wrong because it was not his mother tongue, Dégel knew that his lover had tried to learn French for him, even if it was not for polite conversation.
“Sorry for being such a beast.”
Removing his glasses and placing them on the small table beside the bed, Dégel smiled.
“No, you are acting like yourself, beloved, I would be worried otherwise.”
This time they met each other in a far more heated kiss of passion.
