Hi!
First of all, my name is Inej Ghafa. I sat across you at the library yesterday. You've probably noticed by now, but you left your notebook (dark green, a bit folded on the edge) on the table. I tried to return it to you straightaway but you were already gone. I opened the first page and found your email address, so, yeah. Here I am. (By the way, I hope you're okay with me opening your notebook. I promise I only read the first page.)
Anyways, how would you like me to return the notebook? We could meet up, or I could drop it with a friend, or, well, anything, really. It's your notebook.
Do reply soon. Have a great day!

Hello.
Thank you for keeping my notebook safe. Unfortunately, I am currently not on campus ground and I won't be for another week or so. My roommate is available, though. His name is Jesper Fahey, attached is his contact information . You could drop it with him, or you could just wait until I'm back. I'm fine with both.

Dear Kaz Brekker,
What a coincidence. My roommate, Nina, is friends with Jesper! We'll stop by your dorm tomorrow.
I'll let you know when your notebook is safe in his hands!

Dear Inej Ghafa,
I appreciate your optimism, but nothing is safe in Jesper Fahey's hands. Still, thank you.

P.S. I think I'm familiar with this Nina. Is this roommate of yours a huge fan of waffles?
