The writing style for this piece gives it a sort of neurodivergent/psychedelic feel that I wasn’t too sure about until the author explains the medical usage of a prescription being taken by the person who’s in charge of the POV. Suddenly everything fell into place and I’ve got a whole new facet of the character that I want to read more of. Excellent work.
