Summary
After deciding that living in society is too hard on his psyche, Hanzo flees humanity and his traumatic past to establish a hermitage in the mountains. His peace and safety seems assured at last, since he only ever comes into contact with the kindly merchant, Reinhardt, who crosses the high pass twice a year to make the market circuit.
