"What did you want to show me" were words that broke the silence of the dark luminous night. Two figures could be seen in the shadowy forest, close to one another as if they were keeping a secret from the critters of the night. A vampire and a human, holding hands. Star crossed lovers who spent their days hiding their romance away.
Though, the human appeared quite nervous as he rubbed his thumbs against the knuckles of his partner. "Promise you won't be mad?" He finally spoke and squeezed their hands together. "Depends on what you're hiding" the vampire responded and when he gained a small whine from his lover, he grins "Of course I won't. Just show me already. It's getting quite cold". The human only seemed to give a curl of his lips and punched the side of the vampire's arm lightly, the silliness giving him some reassurance as he started to slowly walk backwards. Making his way out into an opening in the forest floor where moonlight peeked just between the leaves of the tall slender trees.
Once the light gleamed against the human's figure, he started to transform. Skin was no longer skin as thick fur started to sprout, his back arched slightly and mouth turned into a snout. He turned animalistic and once he was fully changed did he let out a grueling howl. It appears the human wasn't so human after all and in fact a grayish werewolf.
The vampire could only stare in awe as he saw the person he's been spending his days with Changed into something else entirely. Though, even with the changed form the vampire smiled showed no fear, no anger, no remorse but rather admiration.
"I'm too hideous aren't I?" Whimpered the wolf, using his big hairy paws to cover his face in shame and growing the need to hide away. The vampire laughed softly and walked over to the cowering werewolf. He placed his hands over those big paws to remove them from his face and cupped the hairy cheeks of his soulmate. "mouth or snout, fur or no fur. No matter how you look I would still love you the same." The vampire closed his eyes and leaned in to give the werewolf an Eskimo kiss with the tip of their noses. "And no you aren't hideous, in fact" he spoke up once more as he moved his hand to scratch behind the wolf's ear "I think you're rather cute". The wolf smiled in response, tail wagging with glee at the acceptance he got from his vampiric boyfriend and the assurance that no matter what, they'll always be in love.
