   Spock stopped. Slowly, he turned around. Out from the shadows a few feet away, a young man stepped forwards. Spock let his eyes wander over the young man. He wore black boots, short red shorts, and a red belly shirt that read 'bite me' across the chest. Over the shirt was a red hoodie with cut off sleeves. The hood was up over the man's head. Bright blue eyes twinkled at him.

   The young man held up a black pumpkin bucket. He grinned and said again, “Trick or treat?”

   Spock gave him another once over then replied, “Treat.”
