Chapter Text
Stiles smiled as he felt the wave of happiness flow through him as Derek and the Pack ran through the woods. He was always happy to wait at the house while the pack ran since none of them wanted him to be left behind in the woods. The fact that the packhouse backed up to the forest meant nothing to them, but he was fine staying there.
Shadow huffed and pawed at his leg, demanding attention.
“Alright, pup, I hear you.”
He leaned down and scratched at the dog’s head. Shadow whined and took off out of the room, making Stiles a little concerned. Shadow never ran away from him, always waiting in doorways or just in sight down the hall. Stiles quickly followed him, spotting him standing next to the back door.
“Shadow, you know that the pack wants us to stay here. There are a lot of supernatural things out there during the full moon,” Stiles said, watching the dog.
Shadow whined again, spinning in a circle. Stiles sighed, that was a sign that something magical was going on. He closed his eyes and let his Spark loose. He gasped as he felt the Nemeton pulling at him, something it hadn’t done in months. He immediately felt Derek’s worry and knew that his mate would come looking for him.
“Alright, pup. I guess we are going to the Nemeton.”
Stiles put a leash on Shadow, even though he wasn’t worried about his familiar running off. He walked out of the house and headed toward the tree. The tree pulled him there every once in a while, but he had not gone without Derek or Peter in a long time.
Shadow got more anxious the closer they got to the clearing, while Stiles could feel his Spark start to bubble, as though it were reacting with whatever magic was at play. When they got to the clearing, Stiles saw someone standing next to the Nemeton. Shadow immediately started to growl, alerting the person to their presence. When the person turned around, Stiles gasps.
“What the fuck?!” He exclaimed.
Standing next to the tree stump was himself.

Alternate Stiles took in the people that stood around the room. He had jumped a mile in the air when the pack of wolves had burst into the clearing, immediately surrounding the other him. He had assumed the biggest wolf was Peter Hale since he was the Alpha, but he was very surprised to watch the wolf turn into Derek Hale. He was immediately taken to a house on the edge of the woods and the rest of the pack changed into their human forms.
Looking around, he realized that he could recognize only a few people in the room. Scott was obvious, but he didn’t know the girl that was leaning into his side. He recognized Erica and Boyd from school, even though the tall, blond boy was not a familiar face. He was shocked to see Peter curled up with Chris Argent, even though Allison was nowhere to be seen.
Before he could say anything, Derek and the other Stiles came back. He was surprised to see the protective arm that Derek had around him, and the dog that had his snout buried in his neck.
“Alright, everyone that doesn’t live here needs to head home. Peter, I will let you know if we need your connections. Scott, I will let you know the details as soon as we know, but you and Kira need to get back to town,” Derek said, looking at each person as he spoke.
“Thank you,” Scott said, leading the girl, Kira, out of the house.
Before long, the only people left in the house were Erica, Boyd, the blond boy, Stiles, and Derek.
“Pups, off to bed. I know you are curious, but you ran tonight. Off with you, I will make you pancakes in the morning,” Stiles said softly, peeking out from Derek’s neck.
“Aww, come on, Mom. Can’t we please…” the blond begged, looking over at them with giant eyes.
“Issac, the eyes don’t work on me. I have lived with you for too long. Go, to bed. Erica?”
Erica and Boyd immediately grabbed the boy, Issac, and drug him up the stairs. Once they all heard a door slam, Derek turned his attention to him.
“Now, you tell us where you came from and how you got here.”

Derek’s Stiles, the one that had been clinging to him since he arrived in the clearing, smelled like ozone. Derek was worried about that because his Spark only reacted like that when it believed that he was in danger. Shadow was also anxious, growling at the other Stiles and keeping himself close to his Stiles.
“So, let me get this straight. In your universe, Peter is an Alpha, Allison is Scott’s mate and a hunter, and you discovered your Spark just after Scott was turned. And, you were in so much danger that your Spark lead you to the Nemeton and transported you here,” Derek repeated.
“Pretty much. Can I ask questions now, or are they off-limits?”
“No, go ahead.”
“Why am I...the other me, anyway, clinging to you like that? The Derek in my universe hates me and has threatened to rip my throat out on multiple occasions.”
Derek looked down at his Stiles, who was taking deep breaths and trying to calm his spark. Shadow was whining, rubbing his nose across the younger man’s neck.
“Stiles is my mate. We discovered it after an...incident that happened a few years ago. He is trying to calm his Spark at the moment, and I’m sure that the three betas upstairs will end up in our bed before the night is over.”
“Mate? Those exist?”
“All wolves have mates, sometimes they even have multiple. For now, I think it’s time that we all get some rest. Come on, I can show you the guest room that should be clean.”
Alternate Stiles followed Derek and his mate down the hall, watching as Derek scooped his mate into his arms at one point. The dog, Shadow, followed directly at Derek’s heels, whining the entire time. Derek pushed open one of the doors at the end of the hall.
“Thank you,” Stiles said, waiting for him to step back before stepping into the room.
“You’re welcome. There are extra clothes in the dresser, and the bathroom is just through that door. I’m sure that you will hear the others in the morning. I hope you sleep well.”
He watched as Derek walked back down the hall and up the stairs, talking softly to his mate as they went.
