You and I (The Spiral We Take)

Summary:

What is she to do?
Eyes on them, watching their every movement.
Failure is evident;
how could one so flawed
not disappoint them all?

A collection of poems I've made. From five years ago to now, it's a constant spiral through light and darkness.
As stated in the tags, some of these poems cover a lot of topics that some may find triggering. I will try to add tws for each poem. If I miss anything, feel free to let me know in the comments!

Chapter 1: Chaos, Confusion, Clutter, and Clarity

Chapter Text

A constant spiral,
never-ending,
up and down,
again and again.

What is she to do?
Eyes on them, watching their every movement.
Failure is evident;
how could one so flawed
not disappoint them all?

No, they're sure it's fine.
No one is watching.
If no one looks,
is it worth it all?
What's the point of it all?

But, oh, it couldn't hurt.
If it could entertain one of them,
one of the endless wanderers,
then all would be okay.
They could finally leave this world in bliss.

Notes:

Hey. I'm pretty sure no one's going to see this, but that's okay (I think). In case anyone does though I just want to explain that some of these poems might end up getting a bit... concerning? for lack of a better term. Poetry has become one of the best ways for me to cope with everything. Honestly, besides drawing, it's the only way I can feel remotely better.
And that brings me to my point here: if it sounds like I'm extremely down, that might be true. However, I'll be okay. Writing down what's happening with me helps me come to terms with how I'm truly doing, letting me have an easier time explaining to my therapist ^u^
So, don't worry about me. I'll be alright :)
