Jacob’s lip twitches a little bit. “I mean, do I look like I’m dressed up for something?” He’s in a soft, brown jacket, layered over a flannel cardigan and worn jeans. It looks like something that might have been popular ten years ago, and the fake plugs in his ears do nothing to discourage the sentiment.
Jaehyun licks his lips. “Are you dressed as...a 2000s boy band heart throb?”
The laugh he gets in response fills their corner of the convenience store, and Jacob's eyes turn up into crescents as his shoulders rock gently. “Actually, I’m a ghost.”
He frowns. “What kind of ghost are you supposed to be?”
“A 2000s boy band heart throb ghost.”
(Alternatively, Jaehyun sobers up in a convenience store at 3 AM on All Saints' Day. Jacob is there every step of the way.)
