Jiang Cheng shoulders open the door to the condo to find Wei Ying sitting in the living room, grinning, his arms splayed out over the back of the couch and bare thighs splayed even wider around a ribbon-topped cardboard box. “Darling!" he says. "Welcome home!”
“What did you break,” Jiang Cheng says flatly, juggling sword, takeout, grocery bag and laptop case so he can toe off his shoes and hang up his coat.
