“Fucking…” Sage sucked in another breath as she heard Sova swear. For the longest time that they’ve known each other, she never heard him let go of such words even if things go bad, especially in missions. He refrained from ever doing so. Even when he was in bed with her, he hid it by biting onto her neck or his hand. Hearing him say it so clearly sent tingles throughout her whole body, fighting an urge to give out another moan. “Sage. Put him on the phone. Now.”
Without another thought, she pressed the phone onto Chamber’s ear and leaned closer to listen to their conversation.
“Bonjour.”
“Chamber, I’m going to fucking kill you.”
“Mmm, better hurry here then. I won’t wait any longer.”

Before Sova could even get another word in, the brunette had already reached for his phone to end the call and tossed it aside, now focusing on Sage who was sitting nice and pretty on his lap.
