She’s leaning against the bar’s red bricks, cigarette balanced between her two fingers as she blows smoke from her chapped lips. She catches his stare and rolls her eyes, looking anywhere but at him. He chuckles to himself. “Well, I thought you were long gone, Princess.”
The girl shakes her head, bringing the cigarette back up to her frozen lips. “I swear, you have got to be the most annoying asshole I have ever met. And believe me, I’ve met my fair share of them.”
He grins, locking up the bar. “You know, if you’d just tell me your name, I wouldn’t have to call you princess, Princess,” he shrugs.
She rolls her eyes for the millionth time that night. “No thanks.”
