Summary
Six years ago, after his uncle tried to kill him in his sleep, Ben Solo barely escaped making the worst decision of his life, even if he had just burned down the Jedi temple and left his uncle for dead. That doesn't mean he has a great relationship with his family, but sometimes he helps his mother out when she's in a bind. After all, Ahsoka did help him realize how evil Snoke and the First Order are, and that he had an obligation to do what's right, even if he wasn't a Jedi. So when things go wrong on Jakku, he's swept up into the thick of it, chasing Dameron's droid and playing second-fiddle to some teenage junk-rat with his own father. Not like he even likes his own father, but it's the principle of the thing.
