    Before Phoenix Wright appeared in his life again, Miles could easily weasel himself out of situations that were not beneficial to him. When they first met again after several years, Phoenix was right on his tail, and knows exactly how to back him into a corner. Over the years, Miles has learned to accept Phoenix as a part of his decisions, his life, etc. One example is him applying to the Chief Prosecutor position and moving back to LA.
