Work Text:
There are children with blue eyes and chestnut brown hair across the continent and it’s possibly not a coincidence. Geralt knows Jaskier tries to be careful but Jaskier is not—by nature—a careful person.
They don’t talk about it.
One day, when Jaskier is busking, a tiny girl with lively blue eyes stops, watching him with a hungry intensity Geralt finds comically familiar. Jaskier talks to her, lets her pluck the strings of the lute, until her mother comes and drags her off.
Jaskier looks at Geralt, his expression unreadable. “I would make a terrible father.”
Geralt says nothing.
