My name is Hange Zoë. People usually call me by my first name, Hange or Hanji (it's just the same). Currently, I'm a first-year student in high school (a.k.a freshman). I lived in a small apartment.
I have a childhood friend named Levi Ackerman. We've been friends since 2-years-old. Our parents were close friends. Yeah, 'were'. Levi is an illegitimate child. He and his mother were abandoned by a man.
Around 1 year ago, Levi's mother passed away due to cancer. He is now taken care of by his uncle, Kenny. The fun fact is that my apartment is a few blocks away from Levi's house. So, I often visited him during the weekend.
It's the first day of high school and here I am now walking to Levi's house. Once I arrived there, I knocked on the door and I heard the door opened by Kenny. He let me in and I sit in the dining room waiting for Levi to wake up. I waited for 10 minutes and now I see Levi coming downstairs.
Giving a sheepish smile to Levi, he scoffed. "Good morning, shorty! Do you have a good sleep last night?" I asked Levi who is still half asleep. Then, Levi growled and said, "Tch, Shitty glasses. You do remember that I have insomnia, right? So, it's obviously no, I don't have a good sleep last night." I started to giggle in responding to Levi's answer.
It's 6.30 a.m. now and we're off to school. As usual, we walked to school. While walking, we love to talk about anything. Well, maybe only me because Levi will just listen to my ramblings about Science-- he hates it a lot, like a lot.
At last, we've arrived school! I could see Levi's unamused face at hearing my rambles. We headed to our class-- another fun fact: we are classmates! We sat side-by-side since he's sort of anti-social and some people bullies him due to being an illegitimate child. I mean like, I am also bullied sometimes, but I don't care about them. Some friends help us, like Erwin, Mike, and Nanaba. Speaking of them, we attend the same school!
At 7.15 a.m., school has started. Our homeroom teacher walks in and said with a loud voice, “Good morning, class. I am Mr. Keith Shadis. I am going to be your homeroom teacher and also your Physical Education teacher. All of you need to obey the class rules. Those students who misbehave will be punished! Do you understand?” Everyone in class then nodded their head and gulped. After that, he told us to introduce ourselves.
After 15 minutes of it, we went out of class and goes to the laboratory for a Chemistry lesson. I’m super excited! I can’t wait to mix some chemicals! Without realizing it, I squealed. Seeing me being excited, Levi tapped my shoulder and said, “Oi, Shitty glasses. Would you calm down a little? Everyone is looking at you right now.” I was surprised, so I look around and then I giggled as a response.
Once we arrive at the lab, we saw someone opening the door. “Welcome to Chemistry class, students! My name is Professor Dot Pyxis. Call me Professor Pyxis. I’m going to be your Chemistry teacher. Now, please sit down and pay attention to my explanation of the Chemistry class rules.” said Professor Pyxis with a smile.
Once he has done explaining, he told us to do an experiment. Isn’t this great? On the first day of school and Professor Pyxis has told us to do an experiment?! I LOVE THIS!
After finishing the experiment, Professor Pyxis was proud of me since I finished first and the experiment succeeded. Soon, the lab was sound with applause. I smiled and bowed my head in appreciation. Since it is still the first day of school, school ended at 11.30 a.m.
Right when Levi and I were about to go to our lockers, we met Erwin, Mike, and Nanaba. “Hange! We attend the same school again! Yay!” Nanaba said approaching us and starting hugging me. I see Erwin and Mike approaching Levi and they started teasing him about his height. There, we all giggled, while Levi clicked his tongue.
We decided to have lunch in a fast-food restaurant. We arrived at the restaurant at 12.00 p.m. We shared our experiences on the first day of school and we enjoyed eating our lunch. We stayed at the restaurant until 3.00 p.m. and now we decided to go back home.
Mike and Nanaba said their farewell first. Soon, it is Erwin. And that left Levi and me. Although my apartment is the farthest, Levi offered to accompany me there until I entered my apartment.
Once we arrived, I said thanks to him and he soon walked out of the apartment to his house. I took a bath directly and after I’m done showering, I lay down on my bed. Today has been a fun day. I can’t wait for tomorrow!
