She wasn’t sure what she was supposed to do now.
She wondered if this was how he had felt just a few years earlier. When she’d jumped from a tower to save the world, to save her sister.
She closed her eyes, willing away memories of blood and screams. His death saved no one – there was no reason for him to be gone. And yet…he was.
Their friends said she wasn’t alone, but the truth was far from that.
Without him, she was always alone.
Without him, she’ll always be alone.
Nothing for her to do now, but wait…
