Summary
When calls start pouring in about two simultaneous meta attacks, David just rolls his eyes. So the Rogues are at it again. They figure, rightly, that the Flash can’t be in two places at once; no doubt they’re hoping CCPD will be too slow to respond to whichever scene the Flash isn’t at. Unfortunately for them, they picked a slow day. Most of CCPD is delighted to leap into action; it beats sitting around doing paperwork.
Upon arriving at the scene, David finds a happily humming security guard staring into space. With a sigh, he dons noise-canceling headphones and braves the bank. Hartley Rathaway, again. This is the fifth time in a month.
By now, they have a routine. David knows Hartley isn’t actually here for the money; he’s here because he’s bored. They’ll arrest him, he’ll tolerate being put in a holding cell, and tomorrow David will find that cell empty because Hartley will have managed to hypnotize his way free, again. On a busier day, David would simply deny him the attention and let him abscond back to whatever Rogue hiding place he’s using this week. Today, because he’s also bored, he’ll allow it.
