Keith laughed as Regris chased him down the halls, his amethyst eyes sparkling. Keith had grown So much because of the love and care his pack had shown him. He had never had so much care shown to him, even from Shiro. His mind drifted back to an incident a few weeks before. He had been in the nest, working to finish sprawled paperwork from the latest mission he had been on. He, as usual, had been as reckless and caring as he could be by risking his life to save a fellow blade, earning a wound to the leg, so he was on bed rest.
The past several weeks his ears had been itching badly. Nothing was helping. As he subconsciously rubbed back of the pen he was using against his ear, Antok and Thace came into the room. They were soon followed by Kollivan and Ulaz who joined them in the rest. Regris had popped his head in several dobashes earlier to wish Keith a good night cycle. All that was left to do was go to sleep. The only problem was the incessant itching
"You alright, Keith?" Ulaz asked "No. "Keith said with a small whimper that he didn't notice. "My ear will not stop itching.'
Ulaz leaned forward and pulledf Keith into her lap and gently ran the sides of her fingers against the back of the ears by Some Miracle, the itching stopped. A purr started to rumble in his Chest. He sat up in shock and Covered his mouth.
Kollivan, having grown used to the signs by now, said, "Don't worry, Kit. It is normal."
Keith sighed in relief and lay back down. A week later it was discovered that the itch was from his ears changing to look more Galra like.

He raced past Thace and Antok, giggling as Regris swiped at him gently in the present. Thace watched with a smile. and said "Typical Kits. Happy and mischievous."
