Summary
“Human,” the man says, cheeks dimpling with his delight and he has to admit he is entirely distracted by it. “It seems you have not paid heed to the warnings of your fellows.” There is a dangerous glint in those eyes, the white teeth just a little too white somehow. All of a sudden every hair on his body stands on end, a shiver running down his spine, a rush of adrenaline shooting through him. He is in danger and he knows it, but there is nowhere for him to go. He chose this fate himself and it’s too late to go back now.
“How unfortunate… For you.”
