Once in a Lifetime
A Tokyo Revengers Story
Keisuke Baji x OC
DISCLAIMER: Unfortunately, I do not own Tokyo Revengers. Tokyo Revengers is the property of Ken Wakui, as are any TR characters that may appear or be mentioned in this story. I do, however, own the Espinosa (Tahlia & Roman) and Taiyo families (Hikari and her parents).
SPOILER WARNING: This story covers Season 1 of the anime. At the time of writing, I have not read the manga past what the anime has covered so there may be some discrepancies with the canon story line. Regardless, if you are a Baji fan, I hope you enjoy.

He might as well have slapped her across the face.
“You’re…” Tahlia’s eyebrows creased in the middle as she shook her head, not comprehending. Baji loved causing trouble and he loved pulling pranks. She was waiting for the punchline — waiting for his serious face to break out in a grin as he doubled over with laughter, pointing and making fun of the look on her face.
It never happened.
“You’re breaking up with me?”
“You deaf or something?” Baji asked. There was a cold look in his eyes. He was standing up straight, hands in his pockets, head held high as he looked down at her with disinterest. “I said I don’t wanna be with you anymore.”
“You asshole.” Tahlia was quick to reach up and grab the red tie around his neck so she could pull him down, closer to her level. “Why?!” she demanded, her voice coming out harsh, angry. She was Tahlia Espinosa, damn it , and there were plenty of boys who wished she’d make them her boyfriend.
Unfortunately, Baji was stronger. He stuck his fingers between hers, breaking her grip so he could toss her hand away. He only stared back emotionlessly.
“I found someone better,” he said with a matter-of-fact tone. Baji smirked. Tilly used to adore his devilish smile. At the moment, she just wanted to wipe it off his face. “She’s a high school girl…” Baji raised an eyebrow. “...and she’ll do things you never had the guts to try.”
Tahlia could feel her heart beating fast. It felt like it would pop out of her chest. When he looked at her like that, suggesting he’d done things with someone else behind her back, she wanted to lash out. She thought about kicking him where it would hurt the most or giving a good backhand so those stupid glasses would fly off his face.
Baji tensed up. They had a staring contest. Her eyes were full of fire. His eyes held nothing at all. She could see his fist clenched. Would he punch her, she wondered, if she tried to fight him? At this point, she would have loved to deck him right in the face… but something held her back. Her boiling blood cooled to a simmer. She wouldn’t lose her cool. Not for a stupid boy. Certainly not for him.
“Wooow.” Her voice was sarcastic. “A high school girl, huh? Good for you.” Her head tilted slightly and a mocking smile stretched her face. “If that’s the kind of girl you want… fine.” Tahlia shrugged. “Go for it.”
Tahlia turned away from him. She couldn’t stand to look at Baji’s face anymore. She was smart, popular, athletic. She’d find someone better than Baji in no time.
All traces of her rage disappeared. Her voice was light and airy when she said, “I hope she rips your heart out.”
