PRESENT
Namjoon is a college professor, he is quite popular to the campus because of his looks and how smart he is, his students really learned a lot of things from him. However, this professor has a deep secret that only he and his best friend Jim in knowing, he can time travel and he decided to visit the past life. Time travel is not common and a lot of people find it impossible and ridiculous, some people doesn’t believe in people who can travel on their future or past.
Namjoon discovered it when he was 18 years old, when he accidentally time travelled to the future, he was shocked of course, but eventually he learned the things he needs to know about his secret. Only few people know about his ability, his parents and Jimin, his friend since they were kids. And, it will be the first time for him to visit the past life because he is usually time travelled to the future.
"Hyung, is it the same thing in your future time travel?" Jimin curiously asked.
"I don’t know Jimin, that is why I need to do this because I'm curious too"
He is saying the truth, he is always curious what would happen in the future so he always visited the different years of the future, he once saw his future, with a very stable career. But now, he is curious about the past life. He can visit his own future life but he preferred to know the future that the world has.
"But you need buy clothes that are suitable for the year or whatever that you will visit to” He agreed to Jimin. He will time travel to 1900 so he needs to style that will suit to the year, he's glad that Jimin knows a shop.
Having this ability have advantages and disadvantages, the advantage that you will know the kind of future the world has or your own future but the disadvantage of it, if you meet a significant person during your time travel, it will hard for a person to leave. Namjoon always experienced the advantages, he is always trying not to attach to a person so he can leave the future without saying goodbye to the person or place.
The night before he leaves the present time, he packed the clothes and other things that he can use. He already asked the school that he will be gone for a while because of a family emergency. Jimin is the one who will take care of his apartment while he is out.
“Namjoon Hyung, are you ready to see what is happening in the past?” Jimin asked him.
“Yeah, I am ready but I’m feeling nervous right now” time travelling only takes 1 minute for him, he would wake up and see the new surroundings. It’s hard to travel in the past but if he would travel to the future, it only takes 1-2 seconds for him.
“You are always nervous whenever you time travel” Jimin laughed at him “But Hyung don’t forget to visit me here, I will miss you”
“Me too Jimin. I’ll see you tomorrow? If I can visit here, I will just call you alright?” Namjoon hugged his best friend
“I will be back here for work then go back in the past” He is still undecided on how many days or weeks he will stay in the past.
“Sure Hyung” Then Namjoon is ready to see the past life.
1900
Namjoon woke up in a small room, he saw a folder on his bedside table.
"What?" He is confused. Namjoon has a different profession whenever his time travelled and this is the first time, he got this kind of job.
"Seems like I'm working in a publishing company" Namjoon talking to himself. Then he decides to get ready for work. He doesn’t know where to go but he will find out later.

Namjoon cannot contain his excitement when he saw the buildings or structures of the past life. The signs of fast-food restaurant with neon lights, the fashion style, everything about 80s. He also heard songs that are famous in this era which he is still listening to his present time.
Everything about his surrounding is beautiful, but Namjoon needs to remind himself that he should not be attached to the place or people.
"Excuse me" He was flustered when a beautiful man approached him.
"Hello, how can I help you?" He asked
"You are Namjoon, am I right?" The man asking him with a nervous voice "I'm sorry if you are not Namjoon but that is what the manager described to me, a tall young man with dimples"
"Ah yes! I am Namjoon"
"Ohmygod finally I found you. I am Kim Taehyung and I work in a publishing company too" He offered his hand for handshake that Namjoon gladly accepted it.
"Nice to meet you"
"Let's go now? Someone has been waiting for us in the bus station" Namjoon nodded and follow Taehyung.
They are talking while they are on their way to the bus stop, he learned that he is older than Taehyung by 1 year.
Time travelers usually changed their birth year so the people they meet will not be confuse. He even needed to make a fake id before.
Once they get there, he met Hoseok and Yoongi, they have opposite characteristics because Hoseok is the loud one while the Yoongi guy is silent. He just stared at him, no expression since the time they arrived at the bus station.
"So, you're the new guy our manager was talking about" He is so shy and he can feel the heat on his cheek when Yoongi talked to him. He fixes his posture so he won't be embarassng in front of his new co-workers.
"A-ah yeah. I'm Namjoon, nice to meet you"
"You already introduced" Namjoon doesn't know what to say so he nodded. He thinks Yoongi is scary. He bows on them and offer a little smile.
Namjoon hopes he will get along with them, especially to Yoongi.
"Hyung, don’t scare him"
"I'm not scaring him" Yoongi said. Hoseok clings to him and said something about Yoongi, he said that Yoongi is kind of intimidating but he is kind and caring Hyung.
The awkward atmosphere disappeared, not too comfortable but he is trying to get along with new people. He learned that they usually meet up before going to work and they are very close friends, they published newspapers and other books that will be distributed to other cities.
When they arrived in a one storey building, Yoongi assist him in his small working spot. He will be the new editor of newspapers that will be printed out. Yoongi is the head of the team Taehyung said.
"So, here is it" Yoongi said "This will be your table"
"Thank you" Yoongi just nodded and asked him to join their lunch later, to welcome him and maybe introduce the new environment to him.
"Hey, Namjoon" Hoseok approached him while he is checking his things. "How are you doing?"
"Fine. Just checking what I need to do for the first day here" He answered while looking at the papers scattered in front of him.
"Oh good. You can ask me, Taehyung or Yoongi Hyung anything. And, I heard Yoongi Hyung invited you to a lunch, you will meet Seokjin Hyung later. He is the owner of this small publishing company" Hoseok is an angel, Namjoon thinks.
He will get along with Jimin, too bad Jimin is from his present and Hoseok is from the past. But he's hoping they can meet, it is possible but the chances are low, Namjoon is still hoping though. Hoseok left him when Yoongi went to their spot and said he is disturbing Namjoon on his work which is not true.
"Hmp! You just want to talk to him alone Hyung" Hoseok said before he left that Namjoon's ears got red.
“Yah what are you saying?” Yoongi annoyed answer “Don’t mind him” Namjoon just shrugged.
Awkward. He doesn’t know that to say and seems like Yoongi has something to say but still deciding if he will say it or ignore.
“Anyway, you will meet someone later” Yoongi broke the silence between them.
“Yeah, Hoseok already mentioned it. Kim Seokjin, the owner”
“Yes” Yoongi said and silence again “By any chance, do you want to join us for dinner tonight?”
Dinner tonight, Should I join them? I won’t disturb them, right? Yoongi already invited to their lunch. He is not sure but he wants to.
“You can say no, no pressure. You are probably busy tonight” Yoongi said when Namjoon is still thinking whether he should join or go home to visit Jimin.
Jimin will understand it, right? Namjoon asked himself.
“A-ah is it okay to join you? I mean the dinner?”
“Of course, I invited you” Namjoon nodded and accept the invitation. Yoongi gave him a smile before he left.
His smile is so beautiful.
“Jimin I’m telling you Hoseok and you will get along, both of you have similarities”
“Hyung, you already said that many times. I want to meet this Hoseok you’re talking about” Jimin said. Of course, it’s impossible to meet Hoseok, he doesn’t have the ability that Namjoon has.
“Yep, and also Yoongi Hyung, he was really scary when I first met him but he’s a soft human being and has beautiful smile”
“Hmm, does Hyung have a crush?”
“Ohmygod no, I’m just describing it”
Lunch and Dinner went great. Namjoon also met Seokjin at dinner and they get along. They are all great people, made the atmosphere comfortable. They talked a lot about random things, Namjoon was careful when he’s talking about him because he thinks that they don’t need to know about his time travel.
Yoongi and he got really close, Namjoon found out that they both like music and dogs. His soft smile while he’s talking about his dog. It seems like he learned a lot of things about Yoongi in just one day. And his body is already tired from all the activities today.
“I have to sleep now. I will call you again when I can okay? I will be back there soon”
“Alright, take care and I miss you Hyung. Have a nice sleep there”
“I will. I miss you too” Namjoon said before he hung up.
New day in 1900 tomorrow and he enjoys a lot about the past. No phone, no internet, just people talking about their lives, work or anything. Unlike the present time, people will go crazy without an internet, Namjoon enjoys reading books, he doesn’t go to clubs or any parties and he heard people talking about how boring his life is, but he doesn’t care.
He also needs to learn the way they move, their dialect because it's a bit different from the present time. Actually, he already searched about the year 1980, so he will be familiarized to the normal livings of people here.
Namjoon gets up early for his work, today is his second day. He plans to go back and visit Jimin in present time. The time has no difference, if it’s morning in the past then it’s morning in the present time too. He texted Jimin about it and he was excited that we can meet again after 2 days. It’s not even 1 week but he still misses the look of present time.
He hides his smartphone because if people see him holding a thing they are not familiar, in work or any place is not a good idea. After that, he goes to the same place where he met Taehyung. He is still not familiar with the place so he asked Taehyung to wait for him since his apartment is near to Namjoon’s place.
But when he arrived at the place, he didn’t see Taehyung but instead it’s Yoongi who’s waiting for him. He is standing near a shop with his both hands in his pocket.
“Oh Hyung. Good morning” Namjoon bows.
“You’re here. I’ve been waiting for you”
“Sorry I got distracted” Namjoon says as he stand awkwardly in front of Yoongi “Uhm where’s Taehyung?”
“I know you would expect him instead of me but there’s an emergency in the office and Seokjin Hyung needs him there” Yoongi explained “Anyway we have to start to move now if we don’t want to miss the bus” He nodded and follows his Hyung.
When they both arrived at the office, Hoseok cannot stop teasing them even when Yoongi already explained why he needs to meet up with Namjoon. He thinks they dated before their work hours which is ridiculous because that's not gonna happen.
He can't have a deeper relationship to any person living here.
“Yah! Yoongi Hyung, you should buy him a coffee” he still didn’t stop “What if Namjoon is hungry? Or thirsty? Clearly you still don’t know how to date”
Namjoon sighed and focus to his work instead of listening to Hoseok on how Yoongi should treated him when they met this morning.
“I already told you it was not a date” Yoongi have been explaining it to his friend “Namjoon is still not familiar with the place, you can ask Taehyung why am I the one who accompanied him” he’s probably tired of explaining.
“I don’t believe your reasons”
“You don’t believe anything I say” Yoongi mumbled that only Namjoon can hear. He laughed softly.
“Ohhhh y’all have secret codes now?”
“A what?” Namjoon can’t help but to laugh loudly, Hoseok’s imagination is out of the world. “What the hell are you saying?”
Hoseok pouts “You’re both in denial but I understand. Stay strong both of you” and he squeezed Namjoon’s hand “I know sometimes Yoongi Hyung is unbearable but I know you can handle him”
“What the fuck Hoseok? We are not dating, go back to your seat and do your work”
“Yes sir” Hoseok salute before he left.
Yoongi shake his head, still processing what happened that suddenly Hoseok thinks they are in a romantic relationship.
“I’m sorry abouy Hoseok. His mind, his imagination is just unique”
He grinned “I figured”
Namjoon was in deep thinking. He really doesn’t understand why Hoseok thinks he’s dating his Hyung. He just got a job here and met his co-workers. But he’s enjoying it because it means people from the past are close enough that they can joke around during work hours.
They do that in present time too but it’s different in the past life, he can’t explain but he likes it here.
He sighs and tried to continue with his work, he’s a time traveler but it doesn’t mean he will ignore his responsibilities here.
“LUNCH TIME” Namjoon lost his focus on his work when Taehyung shouted “It’s Seokjin Hyung treat”
“That’s right” Seokjin walk out of his office with a big smile “We need to celebrate”
“Celebration for what?” Yoongi asked.
“A famous writer chose us to print his books!!”
“WOW Hyung We really need to celebrate” Hoseok stated before he abandoned his work.
They are all excited. It’s a big deal for the small publishing company like them. But it means they will be busy for the next week because they want to make sure that the author will be satisfied.
“Anyway, let’s go, we will have a meeting later about the details of the book” Seokjin bring them to a restaurant near the office.
“Congrats Hyung” Namjoon said.
“Thanks, Namjoon” Seokjin smiled “I guess you’re our lucky charm because this is our first big project for this year and we got it after you joined the team”
“Ah no, it’s because the company is great” Namjoon shyly told him. He must be joking when Seokjin said that, Namjoon thinks.
They ordered and everyone has different preferred dish to eat. Namjoon chose the Army stew since it’s his favorite Korean food. They are chatting, sharing their opinions of the book. Namjoon can say that they are really passionate to their work unlike other people who works for money but that’s how life’s work because we all know, we cant live without money.
It’s stupid to think that money can’t buy us happiness.
“By the way, I want to congratulate Yoongi and Namjoon for realizing their romantic feelings”
Namjoon almost spit out his food because of what Hoseok said. He saw how Taehyung’s eyes got big.
“What??? You both are dating?”
“Yes!! They arrived together, there must be a reason like they started to date” Hoseok answered Taehyung. He is still not done imagining things.
“A-ah no he was joking. We’re not dating, h-he, well we met near bus station which Taehyung suggested last night but he was not present this morning” Namjoon awkwardly explained.
“Namjoon is right, Taehyung asked me to wait Namjoon in front of a shop near his place” Yoongi said while glaring at Hoseok.
“But---”
“Okay enough Hoseok, they already explained why they’re not dating like what you think. You really like to create things on your mind, you’re really suited for your work” Seokjin pats his head.
“Hyung, shipping other people is my side job”
So, they do that here, that kind of thing too Namjoon thinks. People acting like cupid.
“Let’s back to work now, we need to discuss this big project”
As expected, Seokjin pays the meal for them. He also bought ice cream for dessert, and they are arguing about mint choco which some of them hate it because it tastes like toothpaste.
While they are discussing, Namjoon is thinking about something that is out of their topic. He is starting to get attached to his new friends which it’s not good for him. He’s just a time traveler who got curious about the past life.
He thinks that visiting Jimin will be a good idea. Then, he will decide he if should comeback or stay in the present time and forget everything about the past life especially the place and his new friends
“Shall we start the meeting?” Seokjin asked and they all nodded “So this famous writer made a cover for his book but he wants to improve it. Taehyung you’re in charge and Hoseok ”
“Noted Hyung. I already have an idea when you gave the concept of the story”
“Okay that’s good. Then, Yoongi and Namjoon you already know your task as editors. Don’t worry I will help you all” Seokjin appointed them “But anyway, since we are already here. I want you all to meet Jeon Jungkook” Just when a new name was called, a guy entered the room shyly.
“I am Jungkook and uhm I will be a new member to the team”
“Welcome!!” Hoseok stood up from his seat and offered a handshake to Jungkook which he accepted “I am Jung Hoseok, thank you for choosing us”
“Okay... you may sit down Jungkook, you are part of the team now so you will be in charge to the cover book with Taehyung” Seokjin said.
“So, as I said I got an idea for the book cover but I still need your suggestion about it” Taehyung said and started explaining
“I think it’s a good suggestion too. We don’t need a fancy looking cover book we need to be creative so people will have a glimpse about the idea of the story” Namjoon commented.
“The book cover is settled then?” All of them nodded “Okay I know you can do it guys, we can do it”
The meeting was done and Seokjin told them to go home early to have a rest because they will be busy starting tomorrow. Namjoon is excited, he’s not an editor in present time but he used to edit articles when he was a college student.
“Namjoon what are you doing here?”
“Hi Hyung, I’m waiting for Taehyung” He answered. Because he is still unfamiliar with the area and does not want to get lost, he waits for Taehyung.
“But Taehyung left the office with Hoseok”
“Huh? But—”
Yoongi cuts him and said “Hyung will accompany you. That’s okay?”
“Okay”
Yoongi leads the way.
“So, what do you think about the new kid?”
“Jungkook?” Yoongi nodded “Well, he seems nice and polite. I hope he will be comfortable after days of working in the company. I mean the office has a great atmosphere and people”
“That’s what you felt? When you joined our team” Yoongi asked again
“Yes, Hyung. I’ve been here for 1 week but I feel like I am already part of the family”
“it’s because you are” Namjoon gives him a smile. He’s glad he met them.
"I really appreciate the warm welcome"
"I'm glad that you felt that, that's our job too. Welcoming new people to our team and make them comfortable"
"Thank you"
yoongi snorted "You dont have to thank us everyday. It is enought to know that you appreciate it"
"Sorry I cant help it" Yoongi smiles and pat his shoulder
"If you need anything, you can ask me anything"
"Thank-"
"Stop saying thank you, I received enough from you" Namjoon laughs a little and nods.
That night, Namjoon was supposed to visit Jimin but suddenly Yoongi invited him to a late dinner and obviously he didnt refuse it.

Going to work or home together is now a habit for Yoongi and Namjoon. Although Namjoon already memorized the way, Yoongi is still waiting for him in the bus station and at the end of their shift Namjoon will wait for Yoongi so they can go home together.
2 months of staying in the past, Namjoon never imagined he would stay longer than expected. He already loved the city which is bad because he will leave the place eventually. Yoongi is the one to blame, okay, Namjoon doesn’t want to blame him but every Saturday or Sunday, Yoongi would go to his apartment and asked him to accompany him or sometimes he would invite him to visit a park.
Hoseok is still teasing them whenever he saw them together and they will ignore it, their friends are also starting to ask questions about them. Namjoon feels bad that he can’t say anything because he knows Yoongi will be uncomfortable and he hates that. Someday, he hopes he will proudly say to his friends that yes, he is dating Min Yoongi.
It started when exactly one month of staying in the past, it was a usual day for him. Goes to work, hangout with his new friends during their office break, but that day seems different.
Yoongi was so silent the whole time, he knows he’s not chatty but he could feel there was something bothering him, and seems that it's about him because Yoongi would stare at him then sighs deeply. He was worried so when their shift ended, Namjoon talked to Yoongi.
“Hyung, is there something bothering you?” Namjoon asked worriedly “You can tell me, I mean if you are comfortable to say what’s on your mind”
“I’m okay, I mean- I’m not okay. Just something…” Yoongi sighed, he doesn’t know how put it into words, he doesn’t know how to explain.
“It’s okay Hyung, you really don’t have to say it to me”
“No, I want to say it. I have to” Yoongi sighed deeply and “I like you Namjoon”
Namjoon couldn’t believe what he heard. He’s sure Yoongi just confessed to him and he doesn’t know how to feel or what to say. He was thinking that this was wrong, he cannot decide instantly, he is from the present that was just wanting to experience the past life. He was standing in front of Yoongi still silent when he heard him again, breaking the silence.
“Please say something”
“I- Hyung” He closed his eyes, trying to decipher the words that came out from yoongi “Honestly, I don’t know what to say Hyung”
“I expected that but...” Yoongi hold his hand “Just please give me a chance. I know I’m not good how to express my feelings, it was too much courage for me to stand in front of you and confess. I just want you to know how I feel. Do…” Yoongi stops and sighed again “Do you like me too?”
“I do. but Hyung---” there’s a problem.
“But what?” He shook his head.
“Nothing” He almost said his true identity. He was wondering if Yoongi will hate him if he found out about him, about how he lied to him and to his other friends.
“Hyung, I like you too and thank you for confessing. I was too scared to let my feelings out about you but now” Namjoon intertwined their hands and kissed Yoongi’s knuckles. For now, he decided to follow his heart.
Yoongi smile widely "Really? Y-you like me too?" Namjoon nods
"Will you be my boyfriend Hyung?"
"Joonie I was the one who confessed" Namjoon blushed as he hear the nickname Yoongi gave him.
"So, yes or no?" Yoongi laughed softly and nods
"Yes, Joonie"
“So, you mean, we are boyfriends now?”
“Yes” And with that, Yoongi tiptoed to kiss him.

“Joonie, are you even listening?” Yoongi said and pout, he’s been talking but he realized no one was listening to him.
“Sorry Hyung, what is it?”
“I said Seokjin Hyung talked to me and I think he was trying to say something about our relationship” He folded his arms and think
“Are we really that obvious?”
“I mean you’re the one who decided to keep it as a secret but you’re also the one who will likely reveal to them because of your actions”
“I can’t help it” Yoongi said and pout. He's so cute Namjoon thinks.
He’s not wrong, since they became boyfriends Namjoon found out that Yoongi is sometimes clingy especially if they are together in Yoongi or Namjoon’s apartment, he loves to cuddle and Namjoon likes that too. He’s not a fan of cuddle thing but when Yoongi is doing that to him, he loves it.
He likes it when he sees him smiling or laughing, he likes it whenever he holds Yoongi in his arms, he likes his smell, likes watching him whatever he’s doing. Maybe he’s whipped and that’s a bad thing.
He never experiences it on his present time as he doesn’t have time for dating. Even if Jimin sometimes set up a blind date for them but Namjoon was too busy, he loves his work so much that he forgets about his love life.
Yoongi is not his first boyfriend but it’s his first time to get serious in a relationship and he loves it, he can’t describe the feelings but it was something that he wants to keep forever. Sadly, he cannot do it.
"Anyway, there's a newly open ramen shop near our office" Yoongi move closer to him "So I'm thinking that we could have a date there" Yoongi says with a shy voice.
"Sure Hyung. When do you want to go?"
"Is saturday works for you?"
"Oh. I forgot to tell you I’ll be away for 2 days because I’m visiting a friend’
"Really? Then we can reschedule it" He can hear his boyfriend's disappointment in his voice. They are so busy these days that they don't have much time to spend with each other.
“Hmm I can’t come with you?”
“You have a lot of work to do"
"I can bring it or I can finish it tomorrow"
"Hyung. You don't need to force yourself to finish it tomorrow. I don't want to add to your stress"
"But I will miss you" Yoongi say and cling to his arms.
"I will miss you too. I promise we will go to the ramen shop you were talking about"
“Fine! Just two days, right? I guess I can wait that long” He laughs a little, his boyfriend is so cute.
He will visit Jimin and maybe have some important discussion about what happened. From what he knows, it’s been just 1 week when he left to the present time but he’s been staying in the past for 2 months now, he is amazed how the time works between past and present.
He knows Jimin will be shocked about his situation and about how he got attached to the place he is not supposed to.

PRESENT TIME
Namjoon arrived at the familiar place, he went to one of the classrooms and found who he’s been looking for. He is focused reading so many papers that he assumed it’s essay homework of the students.
“Jimin” His face lights up when he heard his name called.
“Hyung” Jimin jolts out of his seat and throw himself to Namjoon “I miss you Hyung”
“Aww I miss you too” he said hugging his best friend.
“It’s been 1 week since you left and our apartment looks lonely” It always looks lonely Namjoon thought.
“Anyway, do you have time right now? I want to talk to you” He can see Jimin’s face turns into a serious mode when he said that.
“Sure Hyung. Can you wait for me? Like 5 or 10 minutes, I just need to check the papers”
“Take your time. I’ll be waiting at cafeteria” Jimin nodded and Namjoon left the classroom so he won’t disturb him.
Namjoon misses the life he has in the present time but he’s been enjoying his life on past life too. He’s starting to regret what he had done, his curiosity gave him this kind of problem he doesn’t know how to solve and he knows he can’t escape.
There are people in past life that he really cherish now that it’s scaring him when it’s his time to leave them. Namjoon wonders what they would react if ever he confessed what kind of person he really is, sometimes he imagines that they would really be disappointed especially Yoongi.
Min Yoongi, the softest, kind and lovable person he met and became one of the most important persons to him. He wonders what he would react, he doesn’t want to hurt him but every day in the past life he actually hurting him by lying to him. And, Yoongi doesn’t even have the clue about his ability.
Namjoon was spacing out when Jimin appeared and sit down in front of him. His mind is still full of what ifs because of the situations he has right now.
“Hyung? Are you alright?” He was shocked by the voice, he didn’t know Jimin is already here “Actually you don’t need to answer it, you don’t look okay. So, what happened?”
“Jimin, I fucked up” he said, putting his head in both of his hands. He doesn’t know how to explain it to Jimin either.
“Something bad happened in the past?” He shook his head, meeting them and dating Yoongi will never part of his bad happenings.
“I’m dating someone there” He mumbled, hoping that Jimin would still hear him. He already planned this, what he would say to Jimin but he can’t say it.
There’s a silence between them, he must be thinking that Namjoon is dumb to let his emotion decides what should happen to him.
“Hyung, it’s a bad thing right?” Jimin finally broke the silence.
“No, I never think it’s a bad thing. I’m---” tears are now falling down from Namjoon’s eyes “I’m scared Jimin, I don’t know what to do"
Jimin hurriedly sit beside him and hug Namjoon to comfort him. Either he doesn’t know what his Hyung can do right now.
“I like him, he’s very sweet and caring” Namjoon sobs “But, I can’t stay in the past life. I don’t understand why I have these abilities, why me all of people in this world”
“It’s not your fault Hyung”
“It is. I ignored all the consequences and now I’m here”
“It’s not your fault Hyung” Jimin repeat his words again “You should not blame yourself for falling in love. Being in love is not a choice”
“But I have a choice to ignore him and leave the past life but I did not” He argued.
“Yes you did not, but that’s because you like him. Yes, you have a choice to leave but you would hurt yourself”
“Being in love could hurt ourselves” Namjoon stated. Still crying in Jimin’s arms.
“But it can give you happiness. Are you happy there Hyung? Are you happy with him?” Jimin asked and he nods “Then, it is enough reason to let your emotions”
“I’m not ready to face the consequences”
“I know but you have to. Remember what you said to me before? Consequences or not, you have to face it even it could hurt you”
Still, Namjoon is scared. He will hurt Yoongi’s feelings and also his friends in past life. He is not ready to see their reactions. Seokjin would be disappointed, Taehyung would probably be upset, Jungkook will cry and doesn’t want to talk him, Hoseok would surely ignore him and Yoongi will hate him forever.
He wonders if one of them reincarnated, it would be fascinating to meet their present lives. It is possible but the chances are low, but he’s hoping that if ever it’s time for him to leave the past life he can meet their present lives especially Yoongi.
“I’m sorry for the trouble Jimin”
“No worries Hyung. You’re always with me when I have problems or not and I will do the same’
“Thank You. I need to go back now, I’m not sure when I can visit you again“ he sighed “Probably the next time I visit you here is the time I finally left the past life”
Jimin smiles at him sadly. “I will wait for you Hyung and remember I’m always here if you need someone to talk to”
“Bye Jimin” Namjoon says to his friend as he ready to go back to his apartment.
Namjoon has to explain everything to Yoongi and returns to his usual life..

Namjoon goes to back to the past life and meet the angry Yoongi on his way home.
“Yah! You said it’s just 2 days, you’re gone for 4 fucking days”
“I’m sorry” The only words he can say, the truth is after talking to Jimin Namjoon stayed to his apartment in present life more than he promised to Yoongi that he will be back in 2 days.
“You know I was worried, even our friends were asking about you” He is just listening to Yoongi’s rants, unable to say something. “Wait. are you okay?”
Namjoon nods “Don’t worry, there was a little problem but it’s okay now”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes”
He lied. he is not okay. His guilt is eating him up, but what should he do? The only thing he can do right now is to lie until he can have the courage to tell them about the time travel. And he knows Yoongi knows he lied but he didn’t question him again but instead hug him to comfort him.
Namjoon almost cry.
“Uhm, do you want to go somewhere?” Namjoon asked him softly “Let’s have a date Hyung”
“Sure Joon-ah, any place we can go to?”
Namjoon scratch his head, he forgot he’s a time traveler and doesn’t memorize the place yet, well he thought he don’t need to.
“Joon?”
“Ah sorry I got distracted,” Namjoon gives an apologetic smile and Yoongi just laughed, thinking how cute his boyfriend is. “How about the place where we had our first date?”
“Oh, in the park near the office. Yeah sure” Both of them stand up from Namjoon’s couch and went to the said park.
It is full of children and Namjoon thinks it’s amazing to see them enjoying their time with their friends, in his present time you can see few kids running and playing outside because most of them preferred inside their home with their gadgets.
He looks at his boyfriends who’s watching the kids too and immediately puts a smile on him, he loves watching him but he realizes something and he felt cold. He didn’t know Yoongi notices him.
“Are you really okay? You’re pale” Yoongi worriedly ask him and check Namjoon to see if he has a fever or something.
“Don’t worry about me Hyung”
“You keep saying that you know I can’t help but to worry about you” Yoongi sighs and hold his cold hand “Ever since you came back here from your friend you’ve been look upset”
“I’m just-“He doesn’t know how he will explain everything but he needs to do it, he needs to tell the truth. And, it’s better for him to leave the past time because he has real life in present time.
He can't lie anymore.
“If I say anything about the real me, will you be mad?” Namjoon smiles sadly “Of course you will but I want you to know everything”
“What?” Yoongi gives him confuse look and it made him really upset. His boyfriend, who he loves, doesn’t know everything about Kim Namjoon.
“I’m not real” And there it is, Namjoon said while looking to his eyes. “I’m not from here”
“What do you mean? Stop joking” Yoongi obviously still clueless.
“I’m serious Hyung. I’m a time traveler”
“No no no no” Yoongi waved his hands in front of him, not believing anything “You are not. This is not funny I swear”
Namjoon tried to calm him. His heart broke when he saw tears in Yoongi’s eyes, this is not what he wants. He doesn’t want to hurt Yoongi but the truth always brings pain to people.
If he knows he will fall in love, he wouldn’t visit the past life and he will not meet Yoongi, Seokjin, Taehyung, Jungkook, and Hoseok. But he did enjoy the life here, it is so peaceful and the people are so kind that it made him comfortable living here for a while.
“Let’s go home” Yoongi mumbled and start to walk away from him but he stopped him by holding his wrist.
They need to talk. He doesn't want to hurt him anymore, one of the most painful things you can do to your partner, hurting them without them knowing.
“Hyung, please listen” Namjoon sobs “I’m a time traveler and I went here because I was curious about what kind of life here. I traveled to the future and I saw almost everything but I want something new so I went here”
“Why are you-” It’s so heartbreaking to watch Yoongi trying not to burst into tears, he can’t even compose a sentence while his tears continue to fall down. “Then, why are you telling me now?”
“Because I need to leave” he says. He can feel the pain in his heart, he wants to end this conversation, he wants to think that it was all dreams.
“What do you mean you need to leave” Yoongi sobs.
“I’m sorry Yoongi Hyung”
The only words he can say to him. His intention was to experience the life here and he will leave, he doesn’t have plans to attach to the place or people because he knows how bad it is. Namjoon doesn’t want to hurt someone during his time travel but he did today, the person whom he loves is the person he hurt.
“Please stay” Yoongi says and hug him like he doesn’t want to let go of him.
But, Namjoon cannot stay here, Yoongi is from past life. He needs to go back and do his responsibilities there, he decided that once he comes back to the present time, he will not use his ability again because he hurt one of the most important persons to him and he blames himself for being curious.
His ability might have advantage to him but it is not always good, and he finds out the disadvantages of it right now.
“When are you leaving?” Yoongi whispers, his face still presses on his chest.
“Today” Namjoon pulls him away from the hug and cupped his cheeks “I’m sorry, really sorry I lied”
“Do you really need to go now?”
“After I talk with them”
“Don’t” Yoongi sighs “I will explain to them instead”
“Sorry” He apologizes again but Yoongi did not respond.
“Can I ask you?” Yoongi asked and Namjoon nods.
“Do I exist in your time?”
“I don’t know. I haven’t met you there” Namjoon answered truthfully, though he is hoping everyday that there's a chance he will meet Yoongi there.
“Can I ask again?”
Namjoons nods.
“Can I kiss you?” Yoongi did not wait for Namjoon’s answer and lean forward to press his lips gently, tears are falling from their eyes.
Namjoon thinks is this last kiss goodbye means? Because he can feel the pain, like someone punched him on his chest. He never regrets and forget meeting Yoongi that makes him happy while staying here but he will not forgive himself for hurting him.
Once they pull away from the kiss, Yoongi step backward and smiles. “I hope we will meet there. Good bye Namjoon, I love you”
“I love you too Hyung” Yoongi walk away from him so does Namjoon, he doesn’t look back and hurt him again.

Namjoon woke up from his own bed, in present time. He came back but why does everything seem so wrong? Like his bedroom is not familiar to him anymore. He decided to stand up and goes straight to his bathroom. He needs to go back on campus and teach again, he had been absent for more than 1 week and he missed teaching and seeing students learning from him.
As he arrives on campus, he called Jimin.
Jimin: “Hey Hyung”
“Jimin where are you?”
“I’m in present time, you forgot it?”
“No, I mean-“
“OHMYGOD YOU CAME BACK?”
Namjoon cannot contain himself and rolled his eyes. Jimin is exaggerating.
“Yeah I’m here on campus. Where are you?”
“I’M ON MY WAY”
Jimin did not give him a chance to talk because his friend hang up the phone. Namjoon shaking his head and continue walking to the teacher’s office where his co-teachers are asking about his vacation.
I did not have vacation he wants to answer but he remains silent and wait for Jimin so they can walk together going to their classrooms. But, he did wait longer because as he expected Jimin arrived carrying a bag with papers inside, he guesses it’s an essay he needs to record. They both go out of the office.
“Hyung I miss you” Jimin says and happily hug him.
“Jimin you know I was gone for like 1 or 2 weeks here”
“How about in the past life?” Namjoon stopped walking, his friend asked him what’s wrong but he ignored him.
“Can we not talk about it now?” Jimin was curious but he agreed and keep his mouth shut. Namjoon is sensitive talking about what happened to him and he hopes his friend understand it.
He will tell Jimin everything but he thinks right now is not a good idea.
“Anyway, did you hear about the new teacher?” He is thankful the subject has been changed and now they are talking about this new teacher who arrived while Namjoon is gone.
“Beside my classroom?”
“Yes!! He teaches beside your classroom so it’s possible you will meet them sooner” Jimin seems happy about this new teacher.
“Actually we’re kind of friends now, I guess I will introduce you him instead”
Namjoon was shock when Jimin pulls his arm in front of a room, well this is the classroom of the new professor. He doesn’t understand why Jimin was so excited.
“You know you can introduce me later after the class, he is probably busy right now” His friend ignored him and calls someone.
“Mr. Min” He checks his phone while Jimin is talking to someone, he received so many emails. He guesses he will be busy all night answering the important emails he got for the past few days he’s not online
“Hello Mr. Park” Namjoon suddenly looks up when he heard a familiar voice.
“Hyung this is Min Yoongi” Jimin pointed at this new teacher and to him “And this is Kim Namjoon, he’s my best friend I was talking about”
No way. His eyes are glued to Yoongi, he doesn’t want to blink. Is this real? Is Yoongi from the past are here in front of him? Is he still dreaming? Is this really Min Yoongi he knows? The only person he was hoping to see. But, he didn’t know he will meet him again as soon as he left the past life
“Hyung?” Jimin looked at him with a rather worried expression.
“Nice to see you again Namjoon” Yoongi offered his hand for a hand shake and he just stared at him.
"See you again? Did you already meet Mr. Min, Hyung?"
Namjoon was panicking inside because there’s a high chance that Yoongi knows him, not as the new teacher Jimin introduced to him but a person who he met in 1900, when he time traveled. And the way he said nice to see you again
Namjoon closes his eyes to confirm he is not dreaming, that Min Yoongi is real, and he was the Yoongi he knows from the past life and now he’s in present time like what he was wishing for, he opens his eyes and Yoongi still there standing in front of him so Namjoon smiles at him.
“Nice to see you again, Min Yoongi”
