   Summary

   It doesn’t matter though—it doesn’t seem like Violet hears her at all. The woman’s face is set in a rage she has never seen before on anyone, with her teeth bared and nose scrunched. Flecks of blood have splattered onto her freckled cheeks from her aggression, and for a moment, Caitlyn is left speechless as she watches.

   The man beneath her is no longer alive, and yet something is keeping Violet from stopping. Like her anger has taken full control and won’t allow her to force the brakes despite his body no longer being a threat.

   “Violet…” Caitlyn rasps out, her blue eyes glistening with unshed tears at the sight of such destruction before her. The brawler continues to punch, making something shatter within Caitlyn’s heart. “Violet!”
