Fred pursed his lips and shrugged, muttering: “I have no idea what you’re talking about. Nothing is amiss, never has been.”
“You’ve had to have seen something, Fred.” She pleaded, her voice suddenly terrified and desperate. “Anything.”
“I believe the culprit,” a voice resounded through the room. “Is you reading too many penny dreadfuls.”

"We are a strange family.” Louis said. “There’s no denying that. But not every strange occurrence is linked to some whirlwind mystery.”
