Francois stepped out of the shower. Their hair sticking to their back. When it was wet it was much longer compared to when they had it up. Francois tried to dry it off with their blow dryer. Running the brush threw their hair as they held the blow dryer to their wet hair. Humming a small tune as they brushed through their hair. Francois heard the front door open and close.
“Hey Fran~!” Luna sang from the doorway.
“Hey dear,” Francois called back. “What did you gaet?”
“Well, believe it or not, they still had sushi rolls out so I just grabbed some,” Luna explained.
“Correct me if I’m wrong, my love but you don’t like Sushi,” Francois put down the blow dryer.
“Yeahhhh, but they also have dumplings,” Luna replied.
“Thanks, Luna,” Francois patted down their hair with a towel.
“Did you just take a shower?” Luna asked.
“Hmh, I need to dry out my hair though,”
“Ohhh let me do it,” Luna excitedly offered.
“Any reason?” Francois questioned.
“Well, you got to be at Ryusui’s early and you still haven’t eaten yet right?” Luna answered. “I thought it would be easier,”
“How considerate of you,” Francois smiled. “Give me a moment to get dressed and I’ll be out,”
Francois used to work and live in the Ryusui manner, but had recently moved in with their girlfriend Luna, so instead, Francois would be picked up in the morning by one of Ryusui’s drivers. Despite that, it still took some getting used to it. Not having to wake up at 5 am every morning to get ready for their duties at the Nanami’s mansion.
Francois stirred awake and forgot where they were. They lazily looked at the clock next to them.
5:30 am
“Oh no Master Ryusui-,”
“Huh..? Fran?” Luna looked up at her partner waking up.
“Huh? Luna, what are you? Oh… right,” Francois sighed. “I did it again, didn't I?”
“Hmh no no it’s fine,” Luna yawned. “Just- can we go back to sleep now,”
Despite Francois’s normal formal look they were trying to relax more. Some quick sweat pants and a T-shirt were enough. Francois came out of the bathroom and found Luna on the couch watching the Tv, eating her dumplings.
“Hey Fran,” Luna smiled. “You’re favorite. Dragon roll and a side of rice,” Luna held up a plate of Sushi.
“On the couch?” Francois questioned.
“Huh? Yeah… is that wrong?” Luna asked.
“Ahh no- Of course not… It’s just new to me,” Francois confessed. “I think I’ve been a servant for too long,” Francois half-joked.
“Ahh no you’re cool Fran,” Luna reassured them. I can move if-,”
“No no no! I kind of want to try,” Francois confessed. “It sounds so strange doesn’t it?”
“No, not at all,” Luna replied. “Now come on, you’re going to miss the show,”
Francois sat on the floor of the apartment, Sushi plate in their lap, and watched the drama as it played out. Luna carefully brushed through Francois’s hair.
Luna was careful as she brushed out Francois’s straight strawberry blonde hair. Getting all the flyaways but making sure not to pull. Francois’s hair was also so smooth too. Never any knots or split ends. Luna lost focus on the show and focused on how soft Francois’s hair felt in her hands.
“Luna?”
“Oh huh? Oh yeah?” Luna snapped out of it.
“The show is done,” Francois pointed out.
“Oh. Oh right!” Luna blushed out of embracement.
“Did you space out again?” Francois asked.
“Hehe yeahhh,” Francois laughed a bit.
“Well luckily I was recording it,” Francois replied.
“Ahh, you’re the best Fran~!”
“From it but I have known you long enough,” Francois teased.
“Records my shows and knows my stupid habits? I think I’m in love,” Luna smiled.
“Love you Luna,” leaned their head to look back at Luna.
A small piece of Francois’s red hair on their face. Luna moved the hair and ticked it back behind Francois’s ear without thinking about it. It took Luna a second to realize what she had just done.
“Ahhh umm I-,”
Francois sat up without saying anything and kissed Luna on the forehead. “You’re adorable,”
“Fran you’re going to kill me,” Luna’s face turned bright red.
“Well… I won’t want that,” Francois continued to tease Luna.
“Do it again please,” Luna mumbled.
Francois put their hand on Luna’s cheek. Francois brushed Luna’s bangs out the way and kissed her forehead again.
“Now come on, you should get some sleep before I wake you at 5 am again,”
