Summary:

This is a short story about the daily lives of Satoru Gojo and his Wife (Y/n). No spoilers past the anime.

Chapter 1: Meet My Wife!

Chapter Text

Itadori Yuji walked along the campus of Jujutsu High, sipping on the juice box in his hand as he stared out at nothing in particular. He was on his lunch break, resting a bit before getting back to practice with the other first years. It had already been a long morning, but he was ready to get back at it as soon as possible!

However, the new sorcerer saw something abnormal on his walk--a young woman standing in place, looking around with a lost, confused gaze in her eyes. She was wearing a floral dress that sat about mid-thigh, a floppy sun hat, and sandal wedges that gave her frame a little lift off the ground. It almost looked like she was ready for a summer vacation. She stood out completely from all the other people that were at this campus. What was she doing here?

Out of curiosity, Yuji approached the woman, “Excuse me?”

She turned to look at the lad, her eyes sparkling with surprise and excitement. This made the pink haired boy hesitate for a second. Upon further inspection, this girl was super cute. She stood just a tad shorter than him in her heels and she looked to be a bit older than him. Maybe 24? 25? WIth the legs of a model and the fashion sense of one too--she was totally his type!

“Ah, hello,” She greeted sweetly. Even her voice was like a melody he had never heard.

“Sorry to bother you,” He started. “You looked lost and I thought I might be able to help.”

She chuckled at this, “Was it that obvious? Sorry, I’ve never been here before. It was a miracle I found the place at all--and you’re the first person I’ve run into. I’m looking for the teacher’s lounge.”

Teacher’s lounge? Yuji was puzzled by how she phrased that. Well, technically this was a high school--sort of. It was just weird that anyone would use such a normal term at a training ground for Jujutsu Sorcerers. Still, he wasn’t sure what exactly would qualify as a ‘teacher’s lounge’ for this place.

“Ah, well I’m not sure where that would be, but I can take you to my sensei” He suggested. “He would know.”

The woman clapped her hands together in delight, “That would be wonderful! Thank you!”

Yuji gave her a wide grin, “No problem! Follow me.”

The two made their way through campus, the summer wind rustling the trees around them.

“So, what brings you here?” Yuji asked. “I can’t say I see too many new people around.”

“I’m just dropping something off for one of the teachers,” She stated, patting the bag around her shoulders. The young sorcerer had just noticed the bag hanging from her shoulders, a small clanking sound coming from it. It sounded like silverware hitting against each other. Now that he was thinking about it, he could faintly smell something delicious in her bag.

“Is it food?” He asked bluntly.

“Bingo!” She grinned. “A certain someone forgot to take their lunch with them to work. What can you do though?”

“They forgot?” Yuji asked. “How could someone forget about something that smells so good?”

This made the woman laugh, “You think my cooking smells that good, huh? Well thank you...um...”

“Ah!” Yuji suddenly shouted, startling the girl beside him. “I’m sorry! I haven’t introduced myself yet! I’m Itadori Yuji!”

She gave him a bright smile, “You’re funny. Nice to meet you, Itadori-kun. My name is--”

“There he is!” Yuji suddenly shouted, cutting the girl off. “Ah, sorry for cutting you off,” He apologized for the second time. “My sensei is right there.” He pointed past the short distance between them and two other people.

The one he was referring to was a tall, slim man with white hair wearing a blindfold. He was talking with a girl with short, orange hair in a uniform similar to Yuji’s. Upon hearing the newcomer shout, both people turned their heads his way.

The pink haired boy turned to his companion, “Miss, this is my-”

“Satoru!” She shouted, already running away from her guide toward the towering man. It only took a few seconds for her to reach him, enveloping his body with hers as she dove in for a hug.

“Eh..?” Yuji’s surprised face mimicked the same astonishment as the other girl who was just speaking to the white haired male just moments earlier.

“What the hell?” She asked, turning to Yuji. “Who is this?”

“Kugisaki,” He addressed the girl, “I, uh...I’m actually not sure.”

“Hah?!” Nobara Kugisaki shouted.

“S-She was wandering around and looked lost so I decided to help her! I thought maybe taking her to Gojo-sensei was the right thing to do!”

The girl pulled on Yuji's uniform, bringing him in close enough to hear her whisper-shouts, “I don’t sense that she has any cursed energy. How the hell could she get here if this place is hidden by a barrier, huh?!”

“I--” Yuji panicked, unsure of what to do with Nobara’s violent tendencies.

“Okay, you two, that’s enough,” Their teacher clapped. Both students stopped their quarrel and eyed the tall man and the girl hanging from his arm, pure happiness on her face.

“Sensei,” Yuji spoke up. “Do you know this woman?”

The man grinned, a smirk settling on his lips, “hoo-hoo, do I know her?” Suddenly the white haired male got on one knee and moved his arms up toward this woman, as if presenting her to the world with a spotlight on her, “This is none other than (Y/n) Gojo!”

The two students were silenced for a few seconds, the wind blowing some stray leaves across their feet. Finally Nobara spoke, “Why is your sister here?”

“Eh?” Gojo’s grin turned into one of confusion.

(Y/n) laughed, “Oh no, I’m not his sister! I’m his wife!”

The silence ate up another few seconds before both students simultaneously blew up in utter disbelief, “EH?!”

“There’s no way this weirdo with an awful personality has such a smoking hot wife!” Nobara exclaimed, already heated from this topic. “This has to be a lie!”

“Nobara, you’re so cold,” Gojo said with a fake, saddened face.

“Ah, (Y/n),” a familiar voice came from behind them. “What are you doing here?”

“Fushiguro!” Yuji exclaimed to his slightly aloof, no-nonsense friend.

“Hello Megumi-kun!” She greeted. “Satoru forgot his lunch so I was bringing it to him!”

“Wait, you guys know each other, too?” Nobara asked in confusion.

The black haired male sighed, “Gojo took me out on a mission not too long ago and forgot something at home so he took me with him to get it. I met her then.”

“So then...are they really…?” Yuji asked carefully.

Megumi nodded. “Yes, they’re really married.”

“No way!” Nobara exclaimed, despair falling down on her as a single woman when someone as awful as Satoru Gojo had already married. Why was the world so cruel?

“A mission?” (Y/n) laughed, back tracking a few moments ago. “Is that what they call it these days?” Ignoring the confused looks the students gave her, she continued, “Anyways, I just came to drop this off.” She took the boxed lunch out of her bag and handed it to her husband. “Here you go, dear! I packed some extra sweets just for you!”

“Really?! You shouldn't have!” Gojo exclaimed with delight, clearly not meaning what he just said.

“Wait wait wait,” Nobara spoke up. “Are we just glossing over the fact now that this idiot is married?! And to someone so cute, too?!”

“You do realize I’m right here, right?” Gojo pointed to himself with a goofy grin.

“Your students are very funny,” (Y/n) chuckled. Suddenly she tugged on the sleeve of his jacket, signaling for the tall man to lower his face--a gesture used quite often between the two. He complied with her wish and she left a peck on his cheek. “I have to get back home now. Will you walk me back to the gate?”

“Aye-aye!” He saluted. He turned to his students, “Meet me back in the classroom in about ten minutes. See you soon!” He waved and walked off with (Y/n), leaving the students confused by his meeting place instructions.

“What classroom is he talking about?” Yuji asked, scratching his cheek subconsciously.

“I think he means the training grounds,” Megumi stated, already walking that way.

That’s the question you have after seeing all this?!” Nobara exclaimed, still not over this new bit of news about their teacher. She huffed and started walking away, too, Yuji in tow, “You’re all a bunch of idiots.”
