Summary
Six months after the events of The Last Jedi, Finn might just be the Resistance's biggest hope. Poe's fallen for him so hard it hurts, but he'll be damned if he lets that get in the way of duty. Rey is still battling the dark inside her, but she'll be damned if she lets that ruin what they've achieved so far. And Jess? Well, she's here for a good time, not a long time. Now, as long as everything goes according to plan...
Aka, The Rise Of Skywalker was a dumpster fire, so I nuked the dumpster.
‘Rey,’ Finn says. ‘Use mind control to make him give the chips back.’ Finn’s grinning at him, all warmth, and Poe’s head is increasingly fuzzy.
‘You’re asking me to abuse my power?’ says Rey. ‘Okay then.’ She screws up her eyes. ‘Sorry, can’t. Too high.’
Poe’s world goes sideways as all five foot nine of Finn barrels into his legs. Poe’s face smushes into Finn’s chest as they hit the floor. He smells like engine oil, like those Krantian pine needles –
‘Now kiss,’ says Rose.
