“We were wondering… and you can say no… if you would like to try something with us.”
Asriel shut his book to give the boys his full attention.
“Well, it depends on what you want to try,” he offered.
“It’s something we’ve done before,” Antonio chipped in, “Well, something that all of us have done before you just… haven’t done this… part?”
Asriel narrowed his eyes.
“You’re doing that thing where you’re being dodgy. I’ll probably be fine with whatever it is.” Antonio looked to Damon for how to proceed. Damon rolled his eyes.
“You’ve fed Antonio before,” he waited for Asriel to nod. So that’s what this is about. Damon continued, “And while you haven’t exactly fed me before you sure were… encouraging.”
“So that was your fault.” Antonio introjected. Damon ignored him.
“Anyways. We thought it would be… nice. If you had a turn.” Asriel raised his eyebrows. He hadn’t actually thought about that before, but the idea certainly wasn’t unappealing.
“Um, sure.”
“Really?!” Antonio exclaimed. Asriel shrugged.
“I mean, yeah. I’m not sure how much I would like it but I’d love to try.”
