Summary
Harry can still remember how Snape looked when he found the older man in the Shrieking Shack, blood pooled everywhere around him, and how it affected him deeply. After saving him with a heavy dose of Antivenom that Madam Pomfrey had in her stores, and coming back from the dead himself, he sees to it that Snape heals and returns to normal while taking care of him at 12 Grimmauld Place. Severus Snape doesn't understand why in God's name the Boy Who Lived saved his life, he should've died, but he is determined to find out.
As he learns to come to terms with what happened and struggles to move forward after the war, Severus realizes that perhaps his hatred for the boy isn't warranted anymore, after all, he did save his life.
And if friendship is what the boy wants then friendship he will have. He will definitely not be exploring any other hidden feelings he has towards the boy. Absolutely not.
