   Summary

   Guoshi, still in his fighting stance, lets out a long, low moan. “Dianxia,” he laments, shaking his head slowly. “Oh, taizi dianxia, oh no.” He looks up at Hua Cheng, eyes pleading. “How did it happen?”
   The poor man wants an answer that will bring him some solace. He wants to hear that His Highness died heroically, bravely. That he saved someone’s life, that some good came out of it.
   Hua Cheng laughs, because the answer is devastating.
   “He slit his own throat.”
