    Being a teenager who is also training to be a hero is hard.

    Izuku and his self-esteem and Eijiro and his body image/complicated relationship with masculinity are both proof.

    For Katsuki, his mother's own anger was pushed onto him from a young age which caused him to unwittingly yield that same toxicity toward others. He pushes people away to protect them from himself so much so that he ends up always being alone in a crowd of admirers.

    To his frustration, Izuku and Eijiro are two people who always seem to be there for him, even if at their own expense.

    Everything is bound to fall apart at some point, right?
