Chapter Text
Wilbur sat up with a groan. The gravel crunched with his movement. In the distance he could hear a train but his thoughts were too jumbled to focus on that right now.
He opened his eyes and as he looked around he realized he didn't recognize his surroundings. Not that he could see much of them as it was nearly pitch black wherever he was.The last thing he remembered was Phi-
A train blared from somewhere close behind him. Wilbur quickly spun his head around to see as he scrambled to get up. He seen the light of a train in the distance. That's all it took to get him sprinting. Adrenaline seeped into his bones.
Where was he? Where was his family? They would save him right? Even with what he had done. Phil would save him... right? Why had he done that?
Wilbur was thankful he had died wearing his boots as they made contact with the slick metal rails. He knew if he had any other shoe he would have slipped. And slipping right now would surely be the end of him.
Am I in a train tunnel? He thought.
His heart hammered in his chest and panic seized him. Soon the tunnel had a slight turn.. After he turned a bit he could see soft light in the distance. A train station! He thought excitedly the little bit of hope fueling him to run faster.
As he entered the small trainstation he veered to the right of the tracks. He quickly pulled himself up on the waiting area floor.
A mere second after he got on the sideline the train blew past.
Why didn't it stop? Didn't it have Passengers to drop off or pick up?
Wilbur glanced at his surroundings. Nobody was here. But the train station looked brand new. After further investigation Wilbur realized there wasnt a way out. He was fully trapped here alone. He looked up at the screens that showed the arrival and departure times. There were only 2 arrivals on the board.
Wilbur Soot: -Arrived-
TommyInnit: -Arriving March 1st-
Wilbur felt like he'd been punched in the gut when he read Tommy's name.
So this was death? Was this some kind of limbo? How long would he be here?
The last thing Wilbur remembered was the loud explosions that destroyed most of lmanberg. He couldn't believe now, that he was thinking clearly, that he had done that. It was his country, his home.
It was Tommy's home .
Oh prime, Wilbur hoped Tommy hadn't seen what happened in the control room.
He hoped Tommy had been spared from seeing him beg their father to kill him. He hoped Tommy hadn't witnessed the death of his older brother.
Wilbur sat down on the ground. His adrenaline rush fizzled out. Everything finally hit him full force.
He blew up him and his little brothers home. The reasoning making no sense now that he was thinking logically. He had begged his father to kill him. And now he was in a train station in a limbo, alone. Without his family.
Wilbur glanced up at the screens once more to be sure of it. A sob tearing it's way from his throat. He would rather suffer alone then see his brother here. But he knew that Tommy would be joining him soon.
