    When Dream escaped the prison of course Wilbur would be the first one he'd seek out. Who better than the very man who owed Dream his life.

    As far as Dream was concerned he was Wilbur's God. By that logic, Dream is also Tommy's God. The two belonged to him as prized possessions- a perfect opportunity to use Wilbur to easily access his favourite toy; Tommy.
