Work Text:
His head swelled with cotton as he nursed the cocktail Tengen forced him to order as he internally groaned at the thought of having a hangover on his first real day off since fall started.
It was a cool friday afternoon when the art teacher decided to drag most of the faculty out for drinks to celebrate the end of the semester. Giyuu usually would never be caught dead at these events but didn't have much choice after Uzui basically threatened to blow up his P.E equipment during a “moment of artistic inspiration”.
Maybe he should have put up more of a fight.
The air was buzzing with the drunken laughter of his colleagues. The clinking of glasses could be heard all around him accompanied by loud cheers.
The science teacher, Iguro, brought his loving girlfriend of two years. She was currently challenging Rengoku to a drinking competition that he was horribly losing.
Though, he didn't seem very upset about it. In fact, he looked like he was having a blast.
Uzui was busy cheering for both Kanroji-san and Rengoku-san with Kanae-san. Iguro looked with pride at his girlfriend as she drained her fourth glass of beer with no sweat. I swear if he could, his eyes would be heart shaped everytime he looked at her.
Everyone seemed distracted except for a certain math teacher.
Sanemi had been staring at him with his normal grumpy expression for a majority of the night, becoming more and more obvious about it. No one else seemed to notice but it was the only thing Giyuu could pay attention to.
His shirt was characteristically unbuttoned half of the way down. Far enough that Giyuu could see where the two jagged scars on his chest started and ended. His sleeves were pulled back which further showed off more muscles and scars, which definitely wasn't helping Giyuu’s thoughts stay professional. He was drinking his second Strawberry Daiquiri (a choice that was teased “justifiably” according to Tengen), and looked ready for a third.
“Tomioka-ssssan~!” Mitsuri loudly exclaimed, causing the table's attention to be turned towards him. He groaned internally at the sudden spotlight on himself. “We haven’t gotten any updates on you! How’s your love life?!” she giggled while wiggling her eyebrows at him suggestively. Rengoku nodded, also curious about his answer. It seems that while he wasn't paying attention the conversation got a little more meddlesome.
“He’s so annoying! He keeps standing up all the girls I get him.” Uzui said while shaking his drink in Giyuu’s direction.
“I already told you I wasn't interested.” Giyuu replied blandly, staring into his drink. “You haven't exactly recommended my type to me.”
“Not your type aye? Then what is your type?” Tengen smiled mischievously.
“Men.” Giyuu said as he took a sip from his drink.
At that, the table died in a fit of laughter. Mitsuri looked extremely excited, as if she already had a list of questions to ask to better matchmake.
“You know, I'm still open to adding a fourth to my currently amazing relationships” He added with a wink.
Sanemi’s eye twitched at the comment, opting to sip from his drink instead.
Interesting.
When Giyuu looked up, his eyes locked with Sanemi’s and he suddenly felt bold. Maybe it was from the alcohol or maybe it was to escape the center of attention or maybe it was a combination of both.
“ I don't think you’d be able to handle me.” Giyuu said with a smug attitude.
That certainly got some eyebrow raises around the table.
“Why don't you find out?” Tengen leaned forward flirtatiously. The whole table was giggling at the interaction, seeing a side of Tomioka that was very uncharacteristic of him. Sanemi stayed silently fuming, looking at Uzui like he might rip his head off.
“Well for one, it wouldn't be fair to my boyfriend.” Giyuu stated.
“Tomioka-san! You have a boyfriend!?” Mitsuri bursted out.
“Congratulations!” Rengoku cheered, raising his drink up.
“Tomioka! Why didn't you say anything sooner!” Tengen laughed brightly at the news. His previously flirty attitude seemingly vanished.
“I like to keep my personal matters personal.” He replied. “Kanae-san, how’s your romantic life been? I heard you recently got engaged?” That immediately turned the tables attention to the beloved Kanae, who bashing lifted up her hand to show off her new engagement ring. Giyuu took this moment as an opportunity to escape to the bathroom.
As he stood up, he made eye contact with Sanemi before making his way.
Not even a minute passed before Sanemi bursted into the bathroom. Hunger in his eyes as he quickly made his way over to Giyuu. He crowded the blue eyed man until he was pressed against the wall and they were standing so close that their breaths ghosted each other.
Now, to any outsiders, they would have assumed that Sanemi might have been glaring at him because he made it no secret that he and Giyuu didn't get along.
At least in the past.
It’s been a year since he and Sanemi put their differences aside and actually started talking like normal people. Their relationship soon bloomed after that. But they decided to keep their partnership private due to teasing that was bound to happen when their relationship is discovered. For the meantime, they enjoy their bubble.
“That dickhead has a lot of nerve flirting with you right in front of me.” He said as he lightly traced his thumbs over Giyuus waist. Even over clothing, Giyuu thought he might melt just from that. “ And don't think you’re gonna get away with flirting back with him either.” he said before lightly biting on Giyuu’s ear.
“Ah.” He puffed out “You know I only did it to rile you up.” He lifted his hands to trace over the set of abs that stand before him. “You know I'm yours, Nemi.” He said sultry as he gazed up into his lover's eyes, cheeks glowing red with alcohol and arousal.
He saw the taller man’s eyes dilate as he seemed to be appreciative of what he saw. He leaned in, lips ghosting over Giyuu’s barely even apart. As he spoke, their lips touched and it made Giyuu feel like he was on fire.
“Fuck yeah you are.”
Sanemi said as he swooped in Giyuu’s lips for a kiss. Giyuu immediately gripped at Sanemi’s shirt to keep his mind grounded as he immediately got lost in the other. Sanemi had always kissed him like he meant every bit of it. Giyuu opened his mouth inviting Sanemi in, which he happily did.
Very quickly, the kiss started heating up as the two got more and more handsy. They separated to give eachother a moment to breathe, or at least only Giyuu since Sanemi opted to start kissing his boyfriends neck with a passion that would have you assume he's a vampire.
“Ah! Not so obvious!” Giyuu whispered out at the spots Sanemi focused on. “They’re gonna know!” Sanemi sucked on the skin harder, making sure a pretty bruise formed.
“Maybe, I want them to know you’re mine.” He said simply before going back to kissing his boyfriend.
Giyuu blushed at the confession. “Really?”
Sanemi laughed into his mouth. “Yes really. I'm in love with you. Now stop talking.”
Sanemi made a point of pressing a hard kiss into his mouth to get him to be quiet.
“I love you too.” Giyuu smiled before melting back into his lover.

“Do they think they're being subtle ?!” Obanai hissed at the absence of the PE and math teachers. “They’ve been in that bathroom for well over 20 minutes.”
“Don't be so mean Obanai! They’re in love~” Mitsuri squealed while holding her hands together.
“It’s nice to see Shinazugawa-san and Tomioka-san get along!” Rengoku smiled.
“They must be complete idiots if they don't think we can tell by now. I felt Shinazugawa mentally ripping me apart when I was joking with Giyuu. I dont get why he's so mad when he could just join us.” Uzui chuckled.
“You’re so gross.” Obanai groaned to which the rest of the table laughed.
